04:59As good as new
05:01Brilliant
05:02I was tired of hard boiled eggs in the morning
05:05Oh, what's wrong with this thing?
05:08Every time I turn it off it turns on
05:11Well, maybe you should try just not turning it
05:13Huh?
05:14Oh
05:15Oh, phew
05:20Thank goodness
05:21Oh, oh
05:22What's that?
05:23You've sat on Mackenzie
05:24Who?
05:26Caitlin's doll Mackenzie
05:27I was looking after her while she's at the dentist with her mum
05:30Oh dear
05:32I don't think anything's broken
05:35What about her eye?
05:37What about it?
05:39Oh
05:39Oh, it looks like it's stuck
05:40Oh
05:41What are we going to tell Caitlin when she comes back from the dentist?
05:44Oh
05:44She'll be really upset when she sees that her dolly's broken
05:48Oh
05:48Well, er
05:49Don't worry Miss Hooley
05:51I'm great at fixing things
05:52Just leave it to me
05:55I'll take Mackenzie home
05:57And I'll have her fixed before Caitlin gets back from the dentist
06:00Oh, just you see if I don't
06:04Bye Edie
06:05Oh
06:08So, which coloured house do you think Edie will visit first today?
06:17Can you see all the different coloured houses sitting by the sea?
06:23Well this part of the story in Balamore asks which is the house for me?
06:29Is it pink?
06:31Is it blue?
06:32Is it blue?
06:32Which coloured house are we going to?
06:35Yellow, green house, orange or red?
06:38Or should we go to the white house instead?
06:41Orange house, green house, red house or white?
06:46Pink house, yellow or blue?
06:49Pink house, yellow blue.
06:49Which coloured house are we going to?
06:57Which coloured house are we going to?
07:00Tell me what do you think?
07:03Which coloured house are we going to?
07:06Tell me, what do you think?
07:10It's the Blue House!
07:14Yes, it's the Blue House, because that's where I live.
07:20Here we are, then. Right.
07:23Now, you should be comfortable just sitting there. Right.
07:27Let's see.
07:31Now, what have I got for fixing eyes, hmm?
07:38Oh, no, well, I think that's too big.
07:44Oh, definitely not. I need something much smaller.
07:49Ah, now, let's have a look-see.
07:53Oh, I'm afraid I'm going to have to turn you over.
07:57There you go.
07:58Right, now, let's see if there's a wee screw or something here.
08:03No.
08:05Anyway.
08:07These tools are all fine for mending the bus,
08:10but they're no good for mending a doll.
08:13God.
08:15Oh, no, look at the time.
08:17Oh, Caitlin will be getting back from the dentist before long.
08:20And I've got to get you back to the nursery.
08:23Oh, what am I going to do?
08:26I know.
08:27Why don't I buy a new one?
08:30I'll go straight to Pocket and Sweets.
08:40Oh, hello there.
08:41Oh, hi.
08:43Is that a dolly you've got there, Edie?
08:45Oh, yes.
08:46This is Mackenzie.
08:48I didn't know you had a dolly.
08:49Oh, I haven't.
08:50Well, I mean, this one belongs to one of the children at the nursery.
08:54And I'm here to look for another one.
08:58Oh, I've loads here, Poppet.
09:00Take your pick.
09:01Oh, wonderful.
09:03What about a rag doll?
09:05Aww.
09:07How about this one?
09:08Now, she says...
09:12Isn't that sweet?
09:13Yes, but they're not quite what I'm looking for.
09:17Then maybe you'd like a small doll.
09:19How about a tall one?
09:21No, I need to find one that looks exactly like this.
09:25I'm sorry, Edie.
09:26We don't have any dolls that wink in the shop.
09:29Wink?
09:31Oh, she's not winking.
09:33Well, she looks like she's winking.
09:35She's got one eye closed.
09:36Yes.
09:37She's broken.
09:39Oh, and I need to find one with two eyes that shut and open.
09:44Well, I don't think we've got any of that description, Edie.
09:48How about a teddy?
09:52Now, everybody loves a teddy.
09:55No, I have to find a doll that looks the same as this.
09:59Does it have to be exactly the same?
10:02Yes, you see, it belongs to one of the children in the nursery.
10:06And Miss Hooley was looking after her when I arrived this morning and sat on her.
10:11Miss Hooley?
10:12No, the doll.
10:14I need to find another one to replace her or Caitlin will be so upset.
10:20There must be someone who can help me.
10:23I know.
10:25Josie Jump.
10:26Oh, does she have a doll like Mackenzie?
10:28No.
10:29But she's always happy and lively.
10:32Yes, if anyone can cheer up Caitlin, she can.
10:36Oh, that's a great idea.
10:39I'll go and find Josie.
10:46Josie Jump is my name.
10:50Dancing and sport are my games.
10:54I'm always feeling rhythm.
10:56It jingles in my toes.
10:58It tingles through my body.
11:01Come on and have a go.
11:02Everybody tries kicking.
11:04Everybody tries bouncing.
11:06Everybody tries throwing.
11:07Everybody tries jumping.
11:10Sometimes I get the feeling I want to jump up high.
11:15I've got to keep on running.
11:17So far I think I'll fly.
11:19Everybody.
11:19Jump up a little higher.
11:21With your hands.
11:22With your hands.
11:23Jump up a little higher.
11:25Score a goal.
11:26Everybody try kicking.
11:28Everybody try bouncing.
11:30Everybody try throwing.
11:32Everybody try jumping.
11:34Jumping.
11:35Sometimes I get the feeling when getting near a hoop.
11:39The ball just keeps on bouncing.
11:41And then I loop the loop.
11:43Everybody.
11:43Jump up a little higher.
11:46With your hands.
11:46With your hands.
11:47Jump up a little higher.
11:50Score a goal.
11:51Goal.
11:52Jump up a little higher.
11:54With your hands.
11:56Jump up a little higher.
11:58Score a goal.
11:59Goal.
11:59Josie.
12:01Jump is my name.
12:03Dancing and sport are my game.
12:07I'm always feeling rhythm.
12:10It jingles in my toes.
12:12It jingles through my body.
12:14Come on and have a go.
12:15Hello.
12:16Oh Josie.
12:17I'm so glad to find you in.
12:19Oh hi Edie.
12:20So.
12:21What's the story in Balamori?
12:24Oh.
12:24Well.
12:27It all began this morning.
12:30While I was returning a clockwork egg timer to the nursery.
12:34I accidentally sat on one of the children's dolls and broke its eye.
12:40I took the doll home to try to fix her eye.
12:44But none of my tools were the right size.
12:48So.
12:49I decided to replace the doll with a new one.
12:52Just like her.
12:54I went to Pocket and Sweets.
12:56But they didn't have any that looked like the doll I'd broken.
13:01And it's nearly time for Caitlin to get back from the dentist.
13:05And she's going to be so sad when she finds her dolly is broken.
13:10Can you help me?
13:12Sorry Edie.
13:13Not very good at mending things.
13:15Oh but you're great at cheering folk up.
13:18And I was wondering if you could help me find a way to cheer Caitlin up when she finds out
13:23her doll is broken.
13:25Sure.
13:26You could do lots of things to cheer people up.
13:29You could pull a funny face.
13:35Or you could do a silly walk.
13:42Or you could tell a joke.
13:44Alright.
13:45But the best thing you can do is to own up and say you're sorry.
13:51It was an accident after all.
13:53Could you maybe do that for me?
13:55Sorry Edie.
13:56You have to do it yourself.
13:57Oh isn't there anything else I can do?
14:00Oh I hate upsetting people.
14:02Wait a minute.
14:03There's a doll's hospital over on the mainland.
14:06Why don't you take the doll there to get her mended?
14:09You just might catch the ferry over if you leave now.
14:12Oh that is a great idea Josie.
14:15Oh thank you.
14:18Oh come on Dolly.
14:20Off we go.
14:28Oh would you look at this.
14:31Oh Mackenzie I think we've come to the right place.
14:35Oh now there's the hospital.
14:37Right.
14:38Time to go.
14:39Do you mind if I sit in here?
14:40Not at all.
14:42Oh is your teddy not well?
14:44What's his name?
14:46Bobby.
14:47He looks like a Bobby.
14:49Oh dear he's got a broken arm.
14:52We're just sewing the teddy bear's arm up.
14:55Making him all better.
14:59We'll tie his ribbon round his neck.
15:02Make him look pretty.
15:03Oh he's going to look grand.
15:06That's super.
15:07Oh Bobby really is a lovely teddy.
15:10Geraldine I was wondering if you could perhaps have a look at Mackenzie.
15:15She's had a bit of an accident.
15:17Oh dear.
15:18Do you think there's anything you can do?
15:20Yes no problem.
15:21No problem.
15:27Oh dear you have had a bit of a bash haven't you?
15:30And I think we can mend it.
15:33There you are.
15:35She's finished.
15:37Oh look at that.
15:39She's absolutely perfect.
15:42And now I've got to dash back to Balamori and get to the nursery before Caitlin.
15:47Bye bye.
15:48Bye bye.
15:48Bye.
15:56I'm getting really worried now.
15:59Caitlin will be back with her mum soon.
16:02Edie's still not here.
16:08Oh no.
16:09Here they are now.
16:13Oh hi Caitlin.
16:15Hi there.
16:18See you later.
16:20Thanks.
16:27Hello everyone.
16:28Hi.
16:30Hi.
16:30Hi.
16:31Hi.
16:33Hi.
16:33I'm so sorry I'm late.
16:35It's alright.
16:36Oh Caitlin.
16:37Here we are.
16:38Oh I'm sorry now.
16:39Mackenzie had a wee accident and I had to take her to the Dolls Hospital but er.
16:44Oh she's all better now.
16:47Oh she's all better now.
16:48Well done Edie.
16:49Oh phew.
16:56So what was the story in Balamori.
17:00Well.
17:03This morning Caitlin had to go to the dentist so she asked me to doll sit for Mackenzie her
17:09dolly.
17:11Edie arrived and accidentally sat on Mackenzie the dolly breaking her eye.
17:17We knew Caitlin would be upset so Edie took Mackenzie home to try and fix her eye.
17:24All of Edie's tools were too big to use.
17:28So she decided to buy a new doll to replace Mackenzie at Pocket and Suites.
17:33Susie and Penny had lots of dolls to show her but none of them were the same as Mackenzie.
17:39Edie went to see Josie.
17:41She showed her how to cheer up Caitlin before telling Edie all about the Dolls Hospital
17:47on the mainland.
17:49Edie took the doll off to the Dolls Hospital and they fixed her broken eye in no time at
17:55all.
17:57This gave Edie enough time to get back to the nursery to return Mackenzie to Caitlin.
18:04Everything worked out alright in the end.
18:07Luckily.
18:11So that was the story in Balamori today.
18:15Bye.
18:28Sh here is Gare.
