00:08Tehran.
00:10The leaders of the UK, France and Germany back Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's offer of direct talks with Russia following
00:17their meeting in London.
00:20Tensions between Israel and Iran escalated further early on Monday as Israel launched airstrikes on targets in central and western
00:28Iran following overnight missile attacks from Tehran.
00:32Explosions were heard in three cities, including the capital, according to Iranian state TV.
00:38Earlier, Israel said its air defences were intercepting Iranian missiles after Tehran warned it would attack Israel as a response
00:45to Israeli strikes on Beirut.
00:48Israel accused Tehran of committing a grave mistake with its assault, which Israel's military said amounted to 11 missiles, all
00:56of which were intercepted with no casualties.
00:59Later in the morning, Israel's military warned the public that a second wave of Iranian missiles was targeting the country.
01:07Tehran has insisted any deal to permanently end the war must also halt the parallel conflict in Lebanon,
01:13where Israel is pursuing a campaign against the Iran-backed movement Hezbollah,
01:18and had warned that any new attacks on Beirut would trigger a full-scale resumption of hostilities.
01:24For days, negotiations between Iran and the United States over the fragile ceasefire had been stalled by the fighting between
01:31Israel and Hezbollah.
01:33Israel now occupies southern Lebanon and had moved into areas of the country it hadn't held in more than 20
01:39years,
01:39leading to fears about them further widening their campaign.
01:45The leaders of France, Germany and the United Kingdom have backed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky
01:51in calling for direct ceasefire talks between Russia and Ukraine,
01:56according to a joint statement issued following defence talks in London on Sunday night.
02:02Zelensky met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer,
02:05French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Frédéric Mertz at Downing Street for talks.
02:11The leaders supported the proposal for a direct dialogue between Ukraine and Russia
02:16with active U.S. and European participation.
02:20According to the leaders, the current line of contact,
02:23quote,
02:23should be the starting point for negotiations and international borders must not be changed by force.
02:31Sunday's meeting in London comes after Zelensky had proposed a face-to-face meeting
02:35with Russian President Vladimir Putin in an open letter last week.
02:40Putin has ruled out the move, saying he saw no point in meeting Zelensky
02:44until a possible peace deal had been agreed.
02:47The UK, France and Germany, the so-called E3 group of European nations,
02:52have been prominent backers of Ukraine following Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022.
03:02An Israeli man opened fire at several towns in central Israel on Sunday,
03:07killing one person and injuring five others before being shot and killed by police.
03:12Israeli officials say all those who were injured have been transferred to hospitals
03:16to receive medical treatment.
03:19Police say the attacker was of Palestinian ethnicity but holds Israeli citizenship
03:23and stressed that investigations are ongoing to determine the motives.
03:28Israeli media say the man carried out the shootings from inside his car,
03:32allowing him to reach several areas in a matter of minutes.
03:36Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denounced the incident as a terrorist attack
03:40and praised his country's agencies for quickly responding to and neutralizing the threat.
03:50A 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck the southern Philippines on Monday,
03:55killing at least 15 people, collapsing buildings and sparking tsunami warnings across the region.
04:01More than 200 people were injured, mostly in damaged buildings, officials said.
04:06It was the strongest earthquake to hit the Philippines this year,
04:10affecting the southern region of Mindanao and triggering one-metre tsunami waves along nearby coasts.
04:17A series of powerful aftershocks rocked the area from about two hours after the first quake,
04:23with the largest measuring 6.5 on the Richter scale.
04:26General Santos, a southern port city of more than 700,000 people, was among the hardest hit.
04:34Tsunami warnings were also issued across the region,
04:37including in Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan and several Pacific island nations.
04:43Earthquakes are a near-daily occurrence in the Philippines,
04:46which is situated on the Pacific Ring of Fire,
04:49an arc of intense seismic activity stretching from Japan through Southeast Asia and across the Pacific basin.
04:59Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kirti's party has taken the lead in Sunday's snap parliamentary election,
05:04which was marked by low-water turnout.
05:06Exit polls by three main Kosovo media outlets show Kirti's Veteven Dossier party won slightly more than 40% of
05:13the votes.
05:14While this puts them ahead, it's not enough to govern alone
05:17and represents more than 10 percentage points less than the party won in the previous vote in December.
05:23The ballot marks the country's third election in just over a year,
05:27coming amid mounting frustration over a prolonged political deadlock.
05:32The crisis dates back to February 2025,
05:35when an inconclusive election triggered a long political stalemate,
05:39repeated failed votes and successive snap polls after lawmakers failed to agree on a new president.
05:45Experts warn the latest ballot may struggle to break the impasse completely,
05:49with deep divisions between competing parties still unresolved.
05:53Many voters say they feel disillusioned, expecting little change despite returning to the polls once again,
06:00as rising living costs continue to hit the economy.
06:03The ongoing instability is also being closely watched in Brussels,
06:06where Kosovo's repeated political deadlocks are seen as a setback to its EU accession ambitions,
06:12and to broader stability in the Western Balkans.
06:18The public open-air mass held in Madrid's Plaza de Sibeles, right outside City Hall,
06:24drew a crowd of around 1.5 million people, according to official figures.
06:28As he made his way through the capital, Leo XIV blessed babies along the way.
06:33Many were surprised to see Queen Letizia dressed in white,
06:36but this is a privilege reserved for catolic queens.
06:40In his homily, Leo XIV reminded the faithful that Corpus Christi is a return to the roots of the faith,
06:45renewing love and fidelity to God.
06:47Entre the authorities presentes were the reyes Felipe VI and Letizia.
06:52In his homily, he wanted to put in value the roots of the faith and commanded to Spain
06:56that its religion is not a museum of the past, but a school of which to be in the future.
07:01After 15 years, Spain has returned to englanding to receive a saint-pontífice.
07:05He has displayed a security device never before seen in the history of the country,
07:10with about 15.000 employees and more than 5.000 periodists who will accompany the Pope in his visit to
07:16Spain.

07:23What, at first glance, might seem like a scene stolen from a western film
07:28is actually one of the most characteristic expressions of the rural identity of the Marema region of Lazio.
07:35Every year in May, the Canale Monterano Buteri Association organizes a festival called Riarto,
07:42which commemorates the moment before the start of the transuments,
07:45when the Buteri met to compete in skilled competitions.
07:50Still today, Marema cows live only on rough pastures.
07:53To round them up, these skilled headsmen use their skill on horseback.
08:17With the progress of technology, the Butero trade has almost disappeared, but the passion of people fond of this life
08:24has helped safeguard this role.
08:25When I was a kid, I remember that the country, in the evening, they entered the Buteri with the Cavalli,
08:34there were the stalles in the periphery area of the country,
08:39and then they took them continually.
08:41During the year, they took them either for their needs or for the needs of other people.
08:47New technologies have also brought positive changes according to the new generation Buteri.
08:52There have been several changes that have become a little bit of the work of the Butero.
08:57The control, for example, with a car is faster than a car, is more comfortable,
09:04the management of the bank data is at the level of anagraphic,
09:07to understand who is in the company, how many are born, how many are born.
09:25For Marta and her brother Alessandro, the family and their roots in the Uria have had a significant impact on
09:31their choice to become Buteri.
09:33The part of the Butero is precisely this, to be the supervisor of the work of himself,
09:40and for this is something that you make very proud of, because you are not responsible only for yourself,
09:46you are responsible for everything that you are around, your company, your own business, your own business,
09:51your own business, your own business, what you have left, and it must be something that you make proud of.
10:18They're going to lift up to 567 kilos, so that's the weight of roughly one of these pods, or a
10:24grand piano.
10:26So it's a huge amount of weight that these can carry, and it's actually reduced the walking that we do
10:31from our together,
10:32traditional sites. We used to walk miles and miles and miles down different aisles to find items.
10:36Now with this technology, we can actually bring them over wherever we need them to.
11:17Builder machines to match the rates of people and their natural movements, right?
11:21We build it as a system, people and machines working together.
11:24Build it as a system!
