00:01The United States launched fresh strikes on Iran early on Thursday in a second day of attacks that
00:07leave a ceasefire and potential end to the war increasingly vulnerable. Iranian media reported
00:14explosions across the country south near the Strait of Hormuz, the same area where U.S. forces
00:19had already bombarded air defense, radar and other sites a day earlier. Iran hit back, saying it hit
00:26two ships trying to pass through the Strait, adding it has again closed the waterway to any
00:31naval traffic. U.S. Central Command denied this, however, saying commercial ships are continuing
00:37to pass through. Iran also again launched strikes on Bahrain and Kuwait, both of which host U.S.
00:44troops, and Kuwait closed its airspace. If Iran does not accept U.S. terms for ending the three-month-old
00:50war, U.S. President Donald Trump said the U.S. would continue its bombing campaign.
00:55Earlier this week, he had suggested a peace accord was just days away.
