00:00A hot topic from this World Cup is that regardless that they're making
00:04gazillions of millions of dollars in in advertising money, they're trying to get
00:10the most money out of the fans, Chiba. The prices of the tickets are off the hook.
00:16They are crazy. So we've talked about this throughout many months. This might
00:21be the dark spot in the World Cup if we see that there's empty stadiums because
00:28these prices are not affordable for the common family in the US, in Mexico or
00:34Canada for that matter. Chiba, how afraid are you to find empty stadiums that put
00:41the image of North American soccer at peril? I mean according to Mr. Infantino it's
00:48already sold out you know every single match and they were smart about it the
00:52fact that they saw the tickets before the World Cup before knowing the group
00:55stages where the teams were gonna play it helped them to sell out but it's very
01:01sad to see that they're taking the most important tournament away from El Pueblo,
01:07from La Raza. With these prices I mean it's impossible to attend a World Cup
01:11match even just to get a ticket. The fact that they're reselling their own tickets
01:14and you know making making more money is supposed to help and it's supposed to
01:19eliminate the secondary market and it's just them doing it. It's sad. I think it's
01:26something that has to change. Unfortunately there's people willing to sell their
01:30house, their car, suple, to go watch their national team and on a World Cup and
01:36that's why I don't think there's empty stadiums is gonna be an issue but it's
01:41gonna be an issue for the future for the prices of football that we've seen that
01:44they're just increasing every single time the jerseys now are $200 instead of $100
01:48and it's just gonna keep going up. Let's see if this doesn't come up as
01:52watching fatigue. Infantino had always brand this tournament as 104 Super Bowls.
01:59That is the magnitude and culturally in other countries that might be the case. I
02:03don't really think that the United States has a level of fandom that actually
02:07gonna fulfill this promise of having 104 games of high intensity and such a high
02:12level of interest. I think it will be probably 20 games that fall into that
02:16category.
