00:00And let's talk about another team, which roster has a lot of people up in arms.
00:05And I'm talking about England, my friends.
00:07Yes, this roster has some big names that are not going to the World Cup.
00:13Alex Crespo, what's happening?
00:16Do you think that this is the best lineup that England could have put together?
00:20Or are we going to be missing some very important players?
00:23I don't know.
00:24It's kind of tricky because, I mean, this coach is out here saying,
00:27oh, you don't need to put the most talented players in your team to make a difference.
00:32What is that mentality, first of all?
00:34Second of all, I mean, I think that when you're missing players like Phil Foden,
00:40Alexander Arnold, who are players that, you know, are huge for their club teams.
00:44And now that they're not here to make a big difference in their national team, it's kind of crazy.
00:48Especially with players like Cole Palmer, like not being in the World Cup.
00:51I think this is just a horrendous idea from the coach.
00:54And we'll see how well they do.
00:57Well, I'm proud of the group because they did excellent.
01:02We wanted the next level of intensity and commitment and cohesion.
01:07And I think we got exactly that.
01:09But we were patient.
01:10We never lost the right attitudes.
01:14We were strong from the start.
01:16And we kept the intensity throughout the whole match.
01:19I just don't understand the strategy behind it.
01:23You can make the strategy that, hey, the biggest, flashiest, most famous players don't always need to make it.
01:28Case in point, Diego Luna.
01:29You know, all the Bank of America commercials leading up to this and then get snubbed.
01:33He's well known.
01:33You can make the argument that he might not plug in.
01:35But that's a player of magnitude that you would think is absolutely essential for England.
01:40Cole Palmer, Declan Rice.
01:43We're talking about players that have been defining English football, right?
01:47Declan Rice is.
01:48Declan made it.
01:49But I'm talking about this group of players.
01:50Right, right.
01:51He's among them.
01:51That came together and we saw them just very much like we see in Spain.
01:56Pedri, Gabri.
01:58You know, there's this core of players that already know how to play together, that they know very well.
02:02And just last summer, Chelsea was the talk of the tournament.
02:07They came to this country.
02:08They were able to withstand the heat, the conditions.
02:13They were ready.
02:13They had the test drive already for this competition.
02:16And they were not called up.
02:18Now, what are the big names that you see in this roster, Alex, that might fill up that big gap?
02:24I mean, I think a player like Rhys James is obviously going to fill in the gap for Alexander Arnold
02:30because I think that Rhys James has the pace that Alexander Arnold's lacking.
02:34And, you know, he did, the coach did say that he wants, he doesn't want, you know, attacking players for
02:40his defense.
02:40So this is obviously going to be, you know, a more, you know, sit in the back type of play.
02:46But, you know, then you have players like Bukayo Saka who are going to lead the attack.
02:51And I think they're going to do really good in that sense.
02:53But it's crazy that the names that we're missing.
02:56Now, Nick, let's talk about the strikers because England has some of the world top players right now.
03:03We have, just to begin with, Harry Kane.
03:06This is the World Cup that Harry Kane really needs to make a difference.
03:09But also we have, like you said, Saka is a really good player.
03:14Watson, also a good player.
03:16What do you think is going to be the secret sauce for England to actually have a successful World Cup?
03:21They can get by by having Harry Kane as their main goal scorer.
03:25They just need to, I think, set him up in the correct way.
03:27So we're going to have to see, you know, Declan Rice, others in the midfield feeding Kane.
03:32Because that's when Kane, or at least I don't even want to compare Bayern Munich to like this squad
03:37because it's going to be completely different.
03:39But the way that we saw it happen with Bayern, it was just constantly Kane with this beautiful,
03:44let's say, ability to be in the right place at the right time and score the right goal.
03:48And they need to sort of replicate that.
03:50So that's going to be tough, obviously.
03:53But if they can do that, they're going to be good because Kane is a goal scoring machine.
03:56But kind of bringing it back to like these players that, you know, did make the list but maybe shouldn't
04:01have.
04:01I mean, we're talking about Jordan Henderson.
04:03This is a player that, you know, his time has passed.
04:06And you're going to choose him over an in-shape midfielder like Alexander Arnold.
04:12Like, this is insane.
04:12You're choosing him over Cole Palmer.
04:14You're choosing him over Foden, who is you.
04:17You know, these are young players that have the stamina to be able to last throughout the whole game.
04:21And you're choosing Ankh.
