00:00Who has been your favorite player so far in the World Cup?
00:03Oh, this is a hard question.
00:04You go first because there's been a lot of standout players.
00:07I'm going to reverse you.
00:08No doubt.
00:09Budi from Morocco.
00:10This young player, very, very young, 17 years old,
00:13really, really coming out and surprising everyone.
00:16He brought the Yogo Bonito in front of Brazil,
00:18and for me that was very, very important to do.
00:21Other players, Buzinha, the goalkeeper from Cape Green,
00:24Cabo Verde, Cabo Verde.
00:27Yeah, that's actually, you still won
00:29because that's something I want to touch on.
00:31That was one of the most heartwarming stories
00:34that I've heard in the football world in a really long time.
00:38You know, seeing all the stats and information on him,
00:41I literally had chills because it means, you know,
00:44winning man of the match means probably so much to him.
00:47He went from, I think, 25,000 players at the beginning of,
00:50I mean, followers at the beginning of the match
00:52to now he's almost at 6 million.
00:55No, 10 million.
00:5610 million now.
00:57I can't even keep count.
00:58Yeah, le gano a Tim Payne.
00:59He's more famous than Tim Payne.
01:01And that's crazy.
01:01And I think, you know, to really put it into perspective,
01:05they couldn't afford, he couldn't afford to apply for his mom's visa.
01:09So his mom isn't watching him in the World Cup.
01:12So this is going to be life-changing, right?
01:13And I think that's the beautiful thing about the World Cup
01:15is that it really is touching real people's lives.
01:19Without a doubt.
01:20Now, I want to talk about another team
01:21that is in the same group as Argentina.
01:23And they actually yesterday did a good, good, good game,
01:27but they couldn't get the result.
01:28That's, we're talking about Jordan that didn't get the win with Austria,
01:32but they look really good things.
01:33Were you surprised to see these smaller teams
01:35that in paper you would think that they will get just run over
01:38actually coming out and competing?
01:40I mean, yeah, I honestly can't really say I'm that surprised.
01:43Of course, you have these certain expectations for, you know,
01:46bigger, more established teams.
01:47But at the end of the day, like I said earlier,
01:50the World Cup is mostly mental, right?
01:52Once you're into the World Cup, it's anybody's game in a match.
01:55And I think, you know, it's really important.
01:59You see how these smaller countries are showing up
02:01and they're even tying with these big countries.
02:04Taking those two, three points away from them,
02:06it's going to be massive once coming out of the group stage.
02:09Now, let's talk about another important game
02:12that my partner Daniel in the control room is expecting and waiting for.
02:16We're going to go all the way to Mexico City.
02:19That's right, Chilangolandia, my friends,
02:22because Uzbekistan will face Colombia.
02:25How important is this first game?
02:27Especially, we know that Colombia is the favorite.
02:29I don't even want to get into the odds
02:31because we're going to keep it clean, my friends.
02:33But how important is it for Uzbekistan to actually come and compete?
02:37This is a magical venue.
02:39El Estadio Azteca.
02:40I don't care that you want to call it Los Angeles,
02:42La Ciudad de México Stadium.
02:44El Estadio Azteca, now named Estadio Ban Norte,
02:47now named Mexico City Stadium, is going to be a party.
02:51The Mexican fans are coming out, feeling the stadium every single game.
02:56How important is it for Uzbekistan to try to capture some of that intensity
03:00and funnel it into the game?
03:01I mean, it's super important, right?
03:03The first match of the group stage is kind of how you, you know,
03:06it's your first footing.
03:07It's how you're going to start off and bring that energy into the other matches.
03:10So this first match is absolutely, you know, it's super important to them
03:15because if they have, you know, a match where they let themselves go,
03:18like we saw that Germany 7-1 game against who?
03:21Remind me again.
03:24Yes.
03:24Yes, yes, yes, yes.
