00:48Our diversity is what-
00:50the more diverse we are,
00:52the more we can understand each other,
00:54the more tolerant we are.
00:55The World Cup gives that.
00:56It gives everybody's music,
00:58everybody's food,
01:00everybody's excited.
01:01People get to come experience that
01:02at Kick It in the Park.
01:04Tell us,
01:04why don't you decide to
01:06watch the game?
01:07Well, I saw that it was a free event,
01:10and I knew they were going to show
01:11the Uruguay game,
01:12so I wanted to bring my mom out
01:14to enjoy some World Cup releases.
01:17I think it's nice seeing everyone
01:19come together to watch football.
01:21I love it.
01:22I love the World Cup.
01:23It's so important to just
01:25meet your neighbor,
01:27be involved,
01:28to have a beautiful space like this,
01:31to go outside and enjoy the sun.
01:34And even though there's a little competition,
01:36it's so positive and great
01:38to see everybody out
01:39and enjoying themselves.
01:41We know Los Angeles is a diverse city,
01:43you know,
01:43so that's what makes it fun.
01:45Why is it important
01:46to have the whole community
01:48get together for this?
01:50Well, it's also about
01:51building community,
01:52you know.
01:53Los Angeles is as diverse
01:54as the World Cup,
01:56so these games provide
01:56an opportunity for
01:58get to know each other.
01:59We know that not everyone
02:00is going to have access
02:00to go to that actual live game.
02:03Part of something bigger,
02:05feel the energy,
02:06and have these memories
02:07forever,
02:08and so we want to give
02:09folks and families
02:09that experience.
02:11Because in a city
02:12as Los Angeles,
02:14football has become
02:16a universal language.
02:18Next culture,
02:20health generations,
02:21and entire nation.
02:23To music, flags,
02:24and stories being shared,
