00:00I think that you've mentioned that this is one of your favorites.
00:02I don't know if that's still the case.
00:04The Memorial, which is this week.
00:06And I know you've always done real well with some bombs here.
00:08So everybody is back in the field this week.
00:12Scotty Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Ober, Cam Young.
00:15It is a who's who in this big tune-up for the upcoming U.S. Open here in a couple
00:22of weeks.
00:23What do you make of the field?
00:25It's definitely a star-studded one.
00:26And I think certainly this is one that Scotty has had success at in the past.
00:31Yeah, he's going for a three-peat.
00:33The two-time defending champion is Scotty Scheffler.
00:37And you have, you know, some star-studded names as far as past winners as well.
00:42Justin Rose, Hideki Matsuyama.
00:44You know, it's very much, you talk about being a favorite of mine.
00:50I love Riviera, where the LA Open, the Genesis Invitational, and then the Memorial.
00:54I think those are a couple of the best golf tournaments on tour that are not major championships.
01:00And this is a wonderful test prior to the Masters.
01:04Jack, of course, this is Jack's place.
01:06Nobody doesn't show up for Mr. Nicholas.
01:09He was inspired by Augusta National.
01:11The greens are very similar, fast, and undulated.
01:15But it's kind of like a combination of a Masters and a U.S. Open, where you have some very
01:20thick rough that is going to be especially penal off the tee.
01:24So you've got to do everything well here.
01:27And, of course, that's why guys like Scotty Scheffler and Victor Hovland and what have you rise to the top.
01:32So it ought to be another great one.
01:34And, again, it's another good pointer to who might be ready to take down a trophy next week at Shinnecock.
01:40So I think when I look at it here, let's show the field real quick here, guys, here for Brady
01:46one more time.
01:47Because Brady's going to give his picks.
01:49But Matty Fitzpatrick and Henley, I guess, after the win last week.
01:54I mean, Brady, these were usually 25 and 30s to 1.
01:57No longer the case.
01:58They're near the top here in terms of the field.
02:01Well, it's very interesting, Craig.
02:03I've played some really big long shots for what is now three weeks in a row.
02:07And you put Scotty Scheffler and Rory McIlroy in this field.
02:11And next thing you know, you've got your Fitzpatrick's in the neighborhood of 25 and Henley and that and Shoffley.
02:18But, you know, pretty soon you're looking at Jordan Spieth and some of the top players in the world that
02:23are 50, 60.
02:24Adam Scott.
02:25I played Adam Scott at 70 to 1.
02:28I played Gary Woodland at 80 to 1.
02:31Woodland just finished sixth last week at Colonial and has a win earlier this year.
02:36Spieth has been playing really, really well.
02:38He's in the neighborhood of 50 to 1.
02:40Nikolai Hoigardt, I got at 75 to 1.
02:44Chris Godderup, we know how good this kid has been.
02:47You know, a top 10 at the PGA Championship.
02:50A lot of people like him next week at Shinnecock because it's a very open championship style test.
02:56And, of course, Chris Godderup, a winner at the Scottish Open last year.
03:00So, yeah, Spieth, Hoigardt, Godderup, Woodland, Scott, and then the Canadian, Nick Taylor.
03:07A half a dozen on my card this week.
03:09And there's not one shorter than 50 to 1.
03:11And, you know, thanks to Scotty and Rory for elevating those odds on everybody else.
03:15Bye be on the next week.
