00:25Look what happened to Brooks Koepka.
00:26He had to pay north of $10 million to get back on the PGA Tour so he can compete.
00:33Phil Mickelson, I think the only place that you're going to see him
00:36is maybe one day as an official starter at the Masters.
00:40And the only tournament you're going to get a chance to see him playing at
00:43is definitely going to be only at the Masters.
00:46Phil was very, very confrontational to the PGA and to the PGA executives
00:51while he was over at the live.
00:54And people there are like elephants.
00:56At the PGA, they're not forgetting on how he conducted himself
01:01and the money that he took and all the shots that he took at the PGA Tour.
01:06Many people, without a doubt, are concerned with how you're going to try
01:10to get these people into the PGA.
01:14Phil Mickelson is going to have, without a doubt,
01:16one of the more difficult times on getting back on tour.
01:19Live Golf has lost their funding, right?
01:22At the end of the year, it looks like Live is not going to get the funding
01:25from the Saudis.
01:26As I said before, the Saudis, you think they're running out of money?
01:30Dude, every time you fill up your tank and every time you fill your car up,
01:35you're funding the Saudis.
01:37They're not running out of money.
01:38They're running out of patience.
01:40They didn't like gimmick golf.
01:43Americans didn't like gimmick golf.
01:44So, at the end of the day, glorified putt-putt wasn't going to cut it.
01:50That's why they're cutting the lifeline of the money.
01:53It's going to be very interesting to see how these players from the Live Golf Tour
01:57end up transitioning back into the PGA.
02:00PGA, without a doubt, is moving forward.
02:03And at the end of the day, let's put this out there here.
02:06There's no question that the PGA is now going to have a lighter schedule.
02:11They're going to have more purses and more purse money for the upcoming season.
02:16You know, when everyone gets this new schedule that's going to be put out in
02:21December, will you see some of these Live Golfers like DeChambeau back on tour

02:26Or are they going to have to put their bag of money up like Brooks Koepka did?
02:30So, the Live Golf, again, it was gimmick golf.
02:34And these golfers now want to try to get back into the PGA's graces.
02:39PGA's in a great spot right now.
02:41PGA's getting all-time ratings.
02:43And believe me, when Tiger comes back and he gets back on tour again,
02:48you're going to see ratings escalating next year because they would have won
02:52this battle.
02:53There's no doubt the PGA has won this battle.
02:56Live Golf was supposed to indeed end up hurting the PGA.
03:00For a little bright, a small spot, it did hurt them.
03:03But now, Americans spoke.
03:06They didn't like the three rounds.
03:08They didn't like the gimmick golf.
03:10They didn't like the fact that these guys didn't have a great TV package.
03:14I couldn't find the games.
03:16I couldn't find the matches each and every single week.
03:19Their television deal wasn't good enough.
03:21And let me tell you, in today's sports world, if you don't have a great TV deal,
03:26you're not going anywhere.
03:27Look at the National Football League and where they are with their TV right now.
03:3196 of the top 100 television shows this past 2025 were National Football League.
03:38You know what the rest were?
03:40College football and fill in the gap with NBA and Major League Baseball.
