00:00Washington and Oregon get ready for repeated rounds of rain that could bring flash flooding into next week.
00:05The first storm arrives before the end of this week, but it's not the only one.
00:08Several inches of rain could add up from Vancouver, down through Seattle, Portland, and towards Medford.
00:13Heavier downpours could trigger flash flooding, including on city streets.
00:17Snow could also slow travel through the higher elevations of the Cascades.
00:20But for the southwest, the shift finally means a break from flooding rain, and we think it'll last into mid
00:26-month.
00:26But then, rain and mountain snow could spread farther south again across California.
