00:00Hello and welcome, I'm Sonal Merotra Kapoor. This is 5 Live. On the program today, we've got two stories we've
00:08got our eyes on.
00:09Number one, NEET re-examination date is set. It's the 21st of June. But right before that, another flaw in
00:19the portal has been exposed.
00:22An ethical hacker sitting in Dubai has exposed the vulnerability of the NEET re-examination portal. Details on that we'll
00:32discuss on the program. Also, we've got our eyes on CBSC.
00:38Now remember the re-valuation date and the time frame to apply for it had opened or they tried to
00:46open it once, tried to open it twice. Third time they have succeeded.
00:52CBSC portal now four days late has finally opened but glitches in the system continue. We'll show you step by
01:01step what exactly happened.
01:04So clearly on 5 Live, we've got the focus on the young in the country. We've got the focus on
01:11students. And we're not letting go of the story till we find that somebody has taken responsibility.
01:20But first up, as always, let's take a look at all the headlines at this hour.
01:25CBSC has opened the portal for verification of marks and re-evaluation of Class 12 board examination results after multiple
01:32delays.
01:33But the portal is facing a fresh wave of complaints from students across the country.
01:38Students attempting to access the portal claim they are facing login failures and screen freezes.
01:45Sources now say that former Tamil Nadu BJP chief Annamalai is set to launch his own political outfit.
01:52Annamalai met with the home minister today and according to sources, he has told BJP leadership that he is resigning
01:58from the BJP but still reluctant and is asking,
02:01The BJP, of course, is reluctant, asking him to wait. He seems to be saying that he wants to part
02:07on good terms.
02:09Bengaluru, meanwhile, is decked up for DK Sivakumar to take oath as chief minister tomorrow.
02:14Both DKS and Siddharamaya are in Delhi. They are meeting with Rahul Gandhi, President Kharge as well, to finalize the
02:22cabinet formation.
02:24Vijay-led government in Tamil Nadu is facing mounting criticism over law and order after a 23-year-old man
02:30was allegedly murdered for questioning the sale of marijuana.
02:34In Chennai, AIADMK and BJP have accused Vijay of evading responsibility for law and order, despite heading the police department.
02:44Mamta Baraji, meanwhile, is facing growing dissent from within her own party.
02:49The buzz-over formation of a new Trinamul Congress has surfaced in West Bengal politics.
02:54Now, this comes after two TMC MLAs have, in fact, they were removed from the party for being whistleblowers against
03:05the party over forged signature Rao.
03:10Meanwhile, a 17-year-old girl has reportedly died by suicide after consuming a poisonous substance at her residence in
03:16Punjab's Amritsar.
03:18Amid allegations of harassment by school authorities over pending fee.
03:23Family members allege that their daughter was constantly harassed by school authorities over the pending fee of Rs. 20,000.
03:3428-year-old Black Buck taint back on the doorstep of Salman Khan.
03:40Salman Khan has blocked now Kala Hiran film based on the 1998 Black Buck poaching case.
03:46He has sought stay on the film's release and also its promotions.
03:52Globally now, U.S. President Donald Trump has asked and said that he asked Israeli Prime Minister Mr. Netanyahu to
04:01pull his troops back from Lebanon capital of Beirut
04:04and also spoke with his Bula officials who agreed to stop shooting.
04:09As per reports, Trump confronted Netanyahu in a heated phone call on Monday over Israel's continuous bombardment of Lebanon.
04:18In while Ebola cases in Democratic Republic of Congo have crossed the 320 mark, the disease outbreak has now killed
04:2542 people in Congo and one person in neighbouring Uganda.
04:28The Congolese government is now making efforts to deliver vital supplies to affected areas, also protecting healthcare workers and test
04:37patients.
04:39The UN has now warned that a new phase of the El Nino weather pattern could begin in a matter
04:45of weeks, increasing the temperatures further across the planet.
04:48The World Meteorological Organization said that El Nino is likely to strengthen over the rest of 2026, driving more extreme
04:57weather around much of the globe.
05:05Neat students have been through enough, won't you say?
05:10First, there was the neat paper leak. Fresh retest was ordered after mutt outrage that came up. That fresh date
05:17is the 21st of June.
05:20And the outrage was not because students had failed in any way. It was because the system failed them. So,
05:26lakhs of students, what are they doing now? They're back at their desks.
05:29They are back at preparing for an examination that should have been cleaned the first time around. But here's the
05:35question.
05:37The students are getting ready. Is it foolproof this time around? Well, if you believe this ethical hacker who's sitting
05:48in Dubai at the moment, the answer is a big no.
05:52He says the NEAT re-examination portal is not ready. He says it is an extremely vulnerable state and he's
06:02saying it just days before lakhs of student log back in to try again.
06:08Who's the student? His name is Ryleen Anil, a cyber security researcher based in Dubai. He claims an NTA-linked
06:16portal carried serious weaknesses
06:19and the kind that could also expose sensitive data there and even open up an administrative level control.
06:28The one he flags as most alarming is something he calls a super admin bypass. What is that?
06:35Now, to understand that simply, it's like a loophole, he alleges, that let weak login checks hand over privileged access.
06:44Now, the caveat here that matters is that whatever he is saying, this ethical hacker, whatever he's saying, nobody can
06:51independently verify.
06:53We don't have the expertise for it. But he is saying that he's pretty confident that the entire system is
07:04weak.
07:05We, of course, took all the allegations that he has brought forward to NTA. We have not got any response
07:12from them just yet.
07:15But given what is at stake here and given the timing, these are not claims you can quietly set aside.
07:22The first concern is about who could get in and what they could do once inside the system.
07:27The allegation is not just that someone could see information. The researcher here, the ethical hacker here, claims that several
07:35privileged functions on the portal may have been
07:39reachable. Generating appointment letters, pulling records, uploading templates, running management tasks meant only for authorised officials.
07:48All of this, he says, lies vulnerable.
07:51Now, if true, that is not a peek through the window, that is a walk through the front row.
08:02That is walking right into the entire system and making it vulnerable. That's concern number one.
08:08Concern number two is about people running the examination.
08:11The claim here is that details tied to observers, centre coordinators and examination centres may have been visible through the
08:22portal.
08:23Names, email IDs, look at the data, look at the evidence he's put out that I'm flashing on the screen
08:29for you.
08:30Names, email IDs, phone numbers, their personal information of very people trusted to keep the exam clean.
08:41So what is this ethical hacker actually alleging?
08:46Strip it down and it comes down to four charges.
08:52Number one, that bulk user data was exposed.
08:56Number two, that login protections were just two weeks.
09:00Number three, that someone could have gained admin access without permission.
09:05He surely did.
09:07And number four, that sensitive functions could be reached
09:12with nothing standing in the way.
09:16See the charges.
09:18Now together, the picture he paints is that of a back end
09:24that never really had been properly locked.
09:28He has also posted screenshots, which we played out for you.
09:31He says it proves and shows parts of the portal.
09:36But again, the same caution applies.
09:38We have not been able to verify it.
09:41We cannot confirm at this point if they are real,
09:43but we can tell you what his allegations are.
09:47And we really hope that the NTA will reply
09:49because we've taken all these allegations to them.
09:52Till the time we are broadcasting this,
09:54we've not heard back from NTA.
09:55If we do, we'll of course update the story.
09:58But the timing here is everything, remember.
10:00The students are re-preparing for the 21st of June.
10:04Though, again, like I said, no fault of theirs.
10:07They are trusting the system a second time.
10:09And if even part of what this ACCA claims holds up,
10:16the question stops being about one portal.
10:18It becomes about whether the platforms
10:20holding India's biggest exams are ready for people.
10:25Are they ready for the future of the young in the country?
10:30And it deserves an answer before the students log back in.
10:36Now, one last flag here that I want to put out.
10:42Rylan, identity on whether...
10:46What he does, what his background, etc.
10:48We don't know.
10:49We try to get in touch with him.
10:51We try to understand more in detail.
10:54But we'll keep doing that
10:56and we'll keep bringing that story out to you.
11:08So, this entire expose that you saw right now,
11:11that I tried to make it simple for you to understand
11:14in four basic points,
11:15we had taken this to NTA.
11:18And when India Today reached out to NTA Director General Abhishek Singh
11:22regarding this matter,
11:23he stated that the entire system has been thoroughly audited
11:26and that the portal is completely secure.
11:30He's not saying this on record,
11:32but we are told, made to understand this
11:34through sources close to him,
11:35that this is where their stand at the moment is.
11:39Anmol Bali, my colleague, managed to speak with him.
11:42Let me cut across straight to him.
11:44Anmol, you heard that explainer over there.
11:47I spoke of the four major vulnerabilities
11:51that the ethical hacker has put out.
11:55At the moment, is NTA A looking into the matter
12:00or just dismissing it?
12:02And B, have they even managed to get in touch with the hacker?
12:06If you want to solve the problem,
12:08you have to first understand that one exists.
12:10Are they planning to get in touch with this hacker,
12:13understand the details in, you know, at length?
12:22So, as you know, recently we have seen various tweets
12:24on the social media where people have claimed
12:26their super admin login can be easily bypassed,
12:29which can make the data vulnerable
12:31on the NTA's re-examination portal.
12:34Keeping all this in mind,
12:35we have reached few senior officials
12:36at the National Test Agency.
12:38Those who have told us,
12:39they have looked into this matter
12:40and they have clearly said that
12:41their cyber security is okay,
12:44everything is fine.
12:45But we are being told,
12:46but earlier also we have seen in the case of CBSE,
12:48earlier CBSE has denied when Nisar Gadhikari,
12:51a 19-year-old hacker,
12:52has brought a few things on the social media.
12:54But later, in a tweet,
12:56after the second time,
12:57he brought a tweet on the social media,
12:59the CBSE has accepted it.
13:01And they have said they have roped in experts,
13:03cyber experts and people from IIT Madras
13:06as well as from the Kanpur.
13:07So, this time also we can see that what comes out,
13:10but still the National Test Agency
13:12is saying that everything is okay.
13:13They have looked into this matter
13:14and their cyber security is good.
13:17So, Anil.
13:18Anmol, is this in response then
13:20directly to the claims made by this hacker?
13:23Or is this their general statement?
13:26Are they saying they looked into the matter
13:28and found nothing or are they saying
13:30they don't need to look into the matter?
13:35They have said they have looked into this matter,
13:37they have asked for the audit,
13:38they have asked their cyber security
13:39to look on the websites
13:41and various other things
13:42related to the cyber security.
13:43And then they have given us the comment
13:45that everything is okay and everything is right
13:46and cyber security is good sooner.
13:50All right, Anmol Bali,
13:51we leave it there for the moment.
13:52Thanks so much for joining us,
13:53but stay back because the other story
13:55that we've got covered also we'll speak on.
13:58Now, remember, NEET is one.
14:00Let's shift our focus to CBSC now
14:03and what happened today in the CBSC case.
14:07Now, fresh snags have hit the CBSC's re-evaluation portal.
14:11The portal that students were already waiting for,
14:14the portal that was delayed not by hours,
14:16but by four full days,
14:17and a portal that was supposed to bring clarity
14:19to students seeking verification of marks
14:22and re-evaluation of answer sheets.
14:24Now, what happened this morning?
14:25The CBSC's re-evaluation and verification portal
14:28launched after repeated delays,
14:30revised timelines.
14:31On Friday, it was supposed to open.
14:33Then they said, okay, we'll try again on Monday.
14:35Now, imagine lakhs of students.
14:37Full day, Friday, they're sitting to see if it'll work.
14:39Full day, Saturday, Sunday, Monday,
14:41they said, okay, finally, we'll open again.
14:43Sitting and trying to, you know,
14:44get the portal working.
14:45Nothing came out.
14:46Today, on Tuesday, they're saying,
14:47the portal opens, and it did.
14:50But how is the question?
14:54CBSC's re-evaluation and verification portal,
14:56launched after repeated delays, like I said,
14:59faced fresh wave of complaints
15:01from students across the country.
15:04What was supposed to bring relief to students
15:06seeking answers about their marks
15:08has instead sparked another round of frustration.
15:10Students attempting to access the portal claim
15:12they are facing login failures.
15:15Others say the screen freezes.
15:17After entering the credential,
15:19some report that key options required
15:21for verification, re-evaluation
15:23are either unavailable or not functioning properly.
15:26Several students have posted screenshots
15:28and videos online claiming
15:30they are unable to complete the process
15:33despite repeated attempts.
15:38I'm showing all of those screenshots,
15:41all of those testimonies of kids
15:45on the screen for you.
15:47Now, students report login failures
15:50and some even claim key options required
15:52to file verification and challenges request,
15:55all of that missing or inaccessible.
15:58Now, the complaints have emerged
16:00within hours of the portal
16:01finally becoming operational
16:02and that is what makes the latest controversy
16:04particularly significant.
16:06How many times?
16:08What will it take for the CBSC
16:11to get its act together?
16:14Because it is not a portal
16:16that suddenly ran into unexpected demand.
16:19They knew this was happening.
16:20They opened it after a gap,
16:22after much media pressure,
16:24after we constantly spoke
16:26and said the kids who are talking about
16:28portal malfunction and their marks mismanagement,
16:31they are not Pakistanis.
16:32They are your youth.
16:34They are highlighting what the issue is.
16:37Finally, when all of those were exposed,
16:39when numbers came together,
16:41we reported the story.
16:42Today is, I think, the second week
16:43where we've reported,
16:44continuously reported the CBSC story.
16:46Then they finally reopened the portal
16:48and look how it went.
16:52The timeline itself, you know,
16:54that raises so many questions
16:56and let me jog your memory here.
16:58The portal was originally scheduled
16:59to go live on the 29th of May.
17:02That deadline was missed.
17:03The whole day, nothing happened.
17:06CBSC then announced
17:07a revised activation date.
17:081st of June.
17:09That also slipped away.
17:11Finally, 2nd of June.
17:13Today.
17:14The portal was declared operational
17:16but within hours,
17:18social media was flooded
17:20with complaints from students
17:21claiming that the system
17:23was either not working,
17:25not functioning properly.
17:26Several students have posted screenshots.
17:28I mean, just go online.
17:30You'll see it.
17:33Thousands and thousands
17:34of students like this.
17:37But remember, behind this,
17:40there are aspirations
17:41and angst of the students.
17:43This is the portal.
17:44The only route to seek verification
17:47of marks, obtain copies
17:48of the evaluated answer sheets
17:51and challenge potential errors
17:52in the evaluation.
17:53So it's not a game for them.
17:55Their future, their admissions,
17:58their cut-offs,
17:58all of that depend on this.
18:01Every delay, therefore,
18:02has real consequences.
18:04Students are now worried
18:06that prolonged disruptions
18:07could affect admission timelines,
18:09counselling schedules
18:10and also application deadlines.
18:12Many are asking
18:12why technical problems
18:14continue to persist.
18:19Now, fresh complaints
18:21regarding the verification portal
18:22is likely to
18:23sort of intensify questioning,
18:26also intensify
18:28the question
18:29over the reliability
18:30of the board's
18:31digital infrastructure.
18:32The board that said
18:33that we will do OSM,
18:34we will do on-screen marking.
18:40For students waiting anxiously
18:42to challenge marks
18:43or even seek re-evaluation,
18:45the concern is straightforward.
18:46If the portal itself
18:47remains inaccessible,
18:48how were they expected
18:49to exercise
18:50their right to verification?
18:52As complaints continue
18:54to mount,
18:54students are now demanding
18:56answers from the CBSE.
18:59Why was the launch delayed?
19:02That's number one.
19:03Why are technical issues persisting?
19:05That's number two.
19:06And most importantly,
19:08when will the portal
19:09function smoothly?
19:11And this is not the question
19:13of one or two students.
19:14Thousands online,
19:15if not lakhs,
19:16are now asking that.
19:18My colleague Anmol Bali
19:19actually tried the portal himself
19:21along with the student.
19:23Look what happened.
19:29Lacks of students across India
19:31were waiting for CBSC
19:33post-results portal
19:34for verification and re-evaluation.
19:36Yesterday it was seen
19:37that after 24 hours,
19:38CBSC has finally said
19:40on June 2
19:40that portal has gone live.
19:42Currently,
19:43I am here at a coaching institute.
19:45I am joined by one of the students
19:46and I will show you
19:47how one can sign in
19:50for lodging their grievances
19:52to the CBSC
19:53those people,
19:55those who have got
19:55their answer sheets.
19:56So here,
19:56we will go to the main
19:57main website
19:58and then
19:59we will be going down
20:02here on the verification
20:04process.
20:05We will click here
20:07and then
20:08it will take us
20:09to the main site
20:11and from here
20:11we will be going
20:14to the post-result
20:15verification
20:17and re-evaluation
20:18site.
20:19So I am joined
20:20by one of the student
20:21who has already
20:23filled their credentials
20:25here on the portal
20:26to know.
20:28please explain me
20:29how one can fill
20:30this form.
20:31So as we can see here
20:33the role number
20:33is required,
20:35our admit card info
20:35is required,
20:36there is a password,
20:37there is an admit card
20:37ID that is required
20:38and then for the verification
20:41our parents name
20:42is required,
20:42one of our parents name
20:43that is mentioned
20:44in our admit card.
20:46Then the Adhaar info
20:46is also required,
20:48our Adhaar name,
20:49our Adhaar number
20:50and the date of birth
20:51and the gender
20:52is required
20:52and I filled that here.
20:55so please sign in
20:56and show us
20:57that is it working
20:58or not.
21:01N Y
21:04T A
21:07F 3
21:13verification failed,
21:14please check your details
21:15and try again.
21:16so you have checked
21:16your details,
21:17you have been trying
21:18to sign in,
21:19how many times
21:20have tried?
21:20Now it has been
21:22seven times
21:22that I have tried
21:23since morning
21:24I have tried seven times
21:25and in the morning
21:26it was three times
21:27and now again
21:27in the morning
21:28it showed that
21:29the credentials
21:30were not right
21:31so I thought
21:32maybe there was
21:33a problem
21:33so I took a break
21:35and then I did it again
21:36and then the verification
21:38has failed
21:39and it has been
21:40going on
21:41since the three times
21:42that I have applied
21:43so now the problem
21:44is not from my side
21:45I will say.
21:45Have you talked
21:46with your friends
21:46those who are also
21:47trying to sign in?
21:49The ones that I have
21:50talked to today
21:50yes they had said
21:51that they were also
21:52facing the issues
21:53the server was down
21:54it was taking time
21:55and loading
21:56and all that things
21:57were there
21:57and that is there.
21:59So still students
22:01are facing problems
22:02while they are trying
22:03to sign in
22:03on the post result
22:04portal for the
22:05verification
22:06and devaluation
22:07process
22:07which still raises
22:08various questions
22:09on the CBSC
22:10which is already
22:11in the center
22:12of controversy
22:13after CBSC
22:14OSM process

22:17Delhi
22:24Alright a latest
22:25statement has come
22:26in from CBSC
22:27let's cut across
22:27to that
22:28this is a tweet
22:29that they've put
22:29out on the
22:30platform X
22:31it says
22:31while thousands
22:32of students
22:32accessed
22:33the CBSC
22:36re-evaluation
22:36portal today
22:37malicious actors
22:38attempted to
22:39disrupt services
22:39through a barrage
22:40of cyber attacks
22:42most recent
22:43being a denial
22:44of the service
22:44attack attempt
22:46causing 1.5
22:47million hits
22:49on the portal
22:49within a matter
22:50of 2 minutes
22:51and more than
22:521 lakh attempts
22:53of unauthorized
22:54file access
22:56it's a huge number
22:57it goes on to say
22:58based on student
22:59feedback
22:59we have further
23:00refined the platform
23:01including extended
23:02session time
23:04limits to make
23:05the process
23:06more convenient
23:07and seamless
23:08our teams
23:08remain vigilant
23:09and responsive
23:10to ensure
23:11our dear
23:11students are
23:12facilitated
23:13in all ways
23:14possible
23:14that's the
23:15latest reaction
23:16coming in
23:17latest statement
23:18coming in
23:19by CBSC
23:20let me cut
23:20across to
23:21Anmol Bali
23:21to understand
23:22this in detail
23:23so Anmol what
23:24is CBSC saying
23:25that there are
23:25some malicious
23:26actors
23:26who have
23:28sort of
23:29who are cyber
23:30attacking the
23:31CBSC
23:32website
23:32and that is
23:33why all these
23:34glitches are
23:35taking place
23:35is that their
23:40argument
23:41as you know
23:42Sonal earlier
23:42we have seen
23:43Sir Gadikari
23:44a 19 year old
23:44cyber hacker
23:45has brought
23:45various things
23:46outside
23:46he has also
23:46tweeted
23:47and brought
23:48the vernal
23:48liberties
23:49of the
23:49CBSC portal
23:50and today
23:50CBSC in a
23:51statement
23:51clearly stated
23:52that cyber
23:53attack
23:53attempts
23:54they have
23:54said
23:54denial of
23:55service
23:55attacks
23:56have been
23:57made
23:57like 1.5
23:58million attacks
23:59in just
23:592 minutes
24:00denial of
24:00service
24:01means
24:01that
24:02someone
24:02tries to
24:03intentionally
24:04flood
24:04website
24:04or server
24:05with huge
24:06amount of
24:06data
24:06to crash
24:07the website
24:07and not
24:08only
24:08denial of
24:09service
24:10but various
24:10other attacks
24:11like hacking
24:12system
24:12with malicious
24:13kinds of
24:14attacks
24:14have been
24:14made
24:15against
24:16the CBSC
24:17on
24:19marking
24:19portal
24:20and CBSC
24:20is saying
24:21that
24:21but still
24:22CBSC
24:22is saying
24:23that system
24:23is working
24:24students
24:24those who
24:25are trying
24:25to file
24:26for their
24:26evaluation
24:27and for
24:27their
24:27rechecking
24:28are doing
24:30good with
24:30the website
24:30but on the
24:31other hand
24:31we have done
24:32a ground
24:32story
24:32we went
24:33to a few
24:33students
24:33we asked
24:34them
24:34to
24:35just put
24:36their
24:36details
24:37on the
24:37portal
24:37and try
24:38to show
24:38us
24:38how it
24:39works
24:39but
24:39students
24:40were not
24:40able to
24:41log in
24:41it was
24:42showing
24:43that
24:43system
24:44could not
24:44verify
24:45their data
24:45and their
24:46credentials
24:46but they
24:47were filing
24:47so it
24:48still
24:48raises
24:49question
24:49on the
24:50CBSC
24:51cyber
24:51security
24:52as well
24:52as CBSC's
24:53internet
24:54and internal
24:55working
24:55of their
24:55websites
24:56Sonal
24:56and more
24:57very quickly
24:58so essentially
24:59the statement
24:59means two
25:00things
25:00one
25:00they're admitting
25:02that there are
25:02issues with the
25:03portal
25:03which they
25:04hadn't so
25:04far
25:04number two
25:06it says that
25:06this is
25:07happening
25:07why
25:07because there
25:08are malicious
25:08attacks happening
25:09on our
25:10portal
25:10they quote a
25:11number
25:11they're saying
25:12attempts have
25:12been made
25:13of 1.5
25:14million hits
25:14on the
25:15portal in
25:15a matter
25:15of two
25:16minutes
25:16which is
25:17why
25:18we are
25:19looking at
25:19the website
25:20not functioning
25:21the way
25:21it should
25:22now the
25:24question is
25:24they already
25:26cancelled the
25:26reopening
25:27of the
25:28revaluation
25:28paper
25:29twice
25:30couldn't
25:31they have
25:31fixed this
25:32also
25:36earlier
25:37Sonal
25:38as you know
25:38first 29th
25:39of May
25:39was chosen
25:40to open
25:40the portal
25:41and then
25:41they said
25:41the June
25:42one
25:42but yesterday
25:43we have
25:43seen
25:43for all
25:4324 hour
25:44students
25:44around
25:45the
25:45Indian
25:46lakhs
25:46of
25:46students
25:46those
25:47who are
25:47desperately
25:47waiting
25:48were
25:48struggling
25:48to
25:49see
25:50the
25:50portal
25:52go
25:52live
25:53but
25:53still
25:54students
25:54were not
25:54able
25:54to
25:55figure
25:55out
25:55today
25:55in
25:55the
25:55morning
25:56we have
25:56seen
25:56a
25:56statement
25:56coming
25:57from
25:57the
25:57CVSC
25:57that
25:58portal
25:58is
25:58live
25:58but
25:59still
25:59students
26:00are

26:03even
26:03able
26:04to

26:04the

26:05because
26:05the
26:06portal
26:06is
26:06not
26:06verifying
26:07their
26:07credentials
26:08but
26:08they are
26:08filing
26:08and
26:09many
26:09are
26:09also
26:10seeing

26:18and all
26:18that is
26:19going
26:19wrong
26:19with the
26:20CVSC
26:20just not
26:21being able
26:21to get
26:21a grip
26:22on
26:22things
26:25alright
26:25moving on
26:26let's
26:26get a
26:26perspective
26:27now
26:27we keep
26:28doing
26:28exposés
26:29we keep
26:30talking
26:30about
26:30vulnerabilities
26:31but is
26:32there
26:32another
26:32side
26:32to
26:33CBSC
26:33that
26:33perhaps
26:34you
26:34don't

32:57And they start up with 90% of admissions.
33:00So, they start coaching in the in-house.
33:01coaching. And the rest of the coaching institute is tied up with Anathrai sponsorship.
33:08So, when it's not done properly, it will be the result of that.
33:32But help me understand this, you know, students across the country, on one hand, are dealing with the onset of
33:40AI.
33:40They don't know what the future is going to be, the future of jobs, the future of education, skill set.
33:45We don't know what world we are getting into. On the other hand, what you do know seems to be
33:49failing you in so many levels.
33:51What's your message to students today? What should they be doing?
33:57I want to say to all the children, that keep a little patience.
34:02And I also have a message and request for CVSE that you are free of cost.
34:08This time, you will be free of cost.
34:09In the past, you will be free of cost.
34:10In the past, you will be free of cost.

34:13You will be free of cost.
34:15You will be free of cost.
34:32If possible, let us be free of cost.
34:34Back then, customers will be free of cost.
34:34You will pay a monthly queue for what you lot with cost.
34:38Right, there will be cost.
34:40You will be free of cost as well
34:42Aver balm.
34:43The second problem Ist Christ the people.
34:43The first problem is straight away from the Cetteationshan.
34:46When someone else is about cost to the poor to the elas 피o.
34:49Is the first problem as well?
34:49No Check as well.
34:52Since the results of the tax keeper unless they havented.
34:53Again we will przede WOW
35:19I would like to know if you are the head of CBSC.
35:30How would you handle the issue?
35:42How would you handle the issue?
36:18How would you handle the issue?
36:24How would you handle the issue?
36:24And the issue that will happen is in the know.
36:26So, where does the buck stop here?
36:28We'll have to see at the moment.
36:31Because of these repeated examination failures
36:34that we are seeing from NEET to CBSC.
36:37To now questions on UPSC, etc. happening.
36:41We need to hear from the Education Minister.
36:44But for the moment, let me get a legal angle to the story.
36:47Joining me next is Vineet Jindal. He's an advocate, and not just any advocate, he has actually written in and
36:54knocked the door of the courts to have them intervene in the matter.
37:00Mr. Jindal, welcome to Five Life. I firstly want you to explain to our viewers what exactly is your plea
37:07and what are you hoping for with your PIL?
37:12Mr. Jindal, as we all know, education is a constitutional right as per the constitution of India. And the scenario
37:20right now which is going on, it is about the CBSE controversy, it is really hamper the future of our
37:26country, future of our young generation, future of the students who have been given exam of 12th class.
37:31There are so many complaints which I have received being a social activist and advocate from the different students on
37:38different aspects. We all know about what is going on.
37:41So that is very painful. And I have right to Chief Justice of India regarding the same and request him
37:47to intervene in this matter because this is a legal issue now.
37:50The government has taken some steps, but I think this difficulty and the way this all mess has been created,
37:59it cannot be rectified, it cannot be controlled, damage control cannot be done here.
38:05It is going further. As we seen that re-evaluation process has been started, to be started yesterday, but now
38:15it has been postponed for today, now it has been implemented, but again, the site has crashed several times, the
38:21student has not been able to apply for re-evaluation.
38:24So, there are so many issues. What can the judiciary do in this matter?
38:32What can the judiciary do in this matter? You are writing to them, you are bringing in the CGI, but
38:37what do you think can they do?
38:39Article 14 and Article 21 is here. So, under that article, definitely the right of students to get their original
38:48marks, secure the admission, secure their education
38:53in future prospect, that is there. So, definitely the court can direct the government of India to take appropriate action
39:01in this matter to re-evaluate all the mark sheets, all the answer sheets, which have been taken by the
39:08CBSC.
39:11Mr. Jindal, I want you to tell me something else. A lot of students I am speaking with, who reach
39:17out to us, who send their complaints, etc., say they are very scared of actually speaking against the system online
39:23now.
39:24In fact, the hackers who had come on this very show, they spoke about the entire problem, it could be
39:29Sarthak, also Nisagra as well, both of them now have lawyers.
39:33They are scared. They are just class 12 students, remember. And they have taken on a very, very big system,
39:41a reputed system in the country.
39:43They have also, you know, exposed it in a way. All of them are feeling a little, how do I
39:50say, I don't know if scared is the right word.
39:52They are feeling that, you know, are they completely protected in this or will the system, you know, get after
40:00them?
40:00What is your advice to students who are still thinking whether I should really put it out, whether should I
40:05really tell the truth on social media?
40:08Yes, Sunal, you are talking about the right thing. I mentioned one incident today morning. I got a call from
40:14a mother of a student, a girl student. She got a secure admission in BIT, Pilyani, and her total aggregate
40:23is below 60.
40:24So, she has, she has been applied for their copies that have not been reached to her till now. We
40:32are on 22nd of June, and the copy has not been received by even after applying for it.
40:38And they cannot re-avaluate these copies. So, when I asked for a legal process, they specially denied it because
40:46they are scared for the further consequences.
40:49Like you said, and you rightly said, the people who have been raising their voice in this particular aspect, definitely
40:55they are on the target on the side of the people who have been supporting this system.
41:03And from the person who has been supporting the other aspect, because we have seen so many educational institutes are
41:11supporting certain things, and different kind of issues are there with this kind of people, definitely.
41:17No, no, there are two issues, and let's be straight about it. There are two issues. A, if you speak
41:22against the system, you are a Pakistani. That's issue number one.
41:25And B, if you speak against the CBSC, there is now the CBSC toolkit which is going around, that what
41:31if they come and sabotage my marks? I have heard this from so many students.
41:35Yes.
41:35I have spoken with so many of them over the past two weeks, and all of them are saying, oh,
41:40I really want to, this is really bad, but what if they come and sabotage?
41:43What if they don't give my marks afterwards? So, I don't want to like talk about this. These are two
41:48queries that are coming.
41:49Yes, definitely, definitely, but they need to stand for their right. If they are not, then definitely it is going
41:56further.
41:56So, I think if someone having this kind of difficulties and raising their voice, our system must protect and the
42:04legal aspect is there, they can file a complaint, they can approve the court, even if they are not feeling
42:08safe.
42:09So, definitely, their rights are there, and our constitution provides us to raise our voices against anything wrong could happen.
42:16So, why not? We have, we are there.
42:19If any person, I tell from your channel itself, if somebody is feeling like that, definitely, I am here to
42:25help him out. I am not taking any money for it.
42:28I am, I will provide pro bono legal services to any of the student if they wants to. So, definitely,
42:34we are…
42:35Okay, Mr. Jindal, let me, let me, let me take that appeal to the students. Mr. Jindal is here. He
42:40is saying, if any of the students are feeling that they have been,
42:43they are scared or feeling that CBSC and the system will come back and sabotage, they will be attacked back,
42:50and they are scared about their safety or legal aspects.
42:53Mr. Jindal here is saying he will give you free pro bono legal advice and representation as well.
42:58So, thank you so much for that. I think it will go places in, you know, boosting the morale of
43:03the students as well.
43:04But look at the times. What all students have to do. You know, write the exam, prepare for it, then
43:09fight for it legally, then fight AI, then fight for job.
43:13What all? Are we expecting our kids to do these days? What about the good old days that, you know,
43:19mehnat karo phal milega? None of that is really happening and that's what's really beating down the young in the
43:25country.
43:26Talking about what's beating down the young in the country, there's a heartbreaking story that has come from Punjab's Amritsar.
43:32A Class 12 student is now dead after allegedly consuming poison, with her family now claiming that she was repeatedly
43:39harassed by school authorities
43:41over unpaid fee amounting to around 20,000 rupees. A tragedy that has sparked outrage because of what the student
43:49allegedly said before her death.
43:52In a purported dying declaration, the teenager claimed that she was mentally tortured by school authorities.
43:57She alleged that she was called into a separate room, humiliated over there. She claimed that she was removed from
44:04school groups.
44:06She alleged that treatment that was meted out to her pushed her towards taking the extreme step and she ultimately
44:13took her life.
44:14Now, in the purported statement, the student says that she does not know whether she will survive, but she wants
44:23justice.
44:24The allegations here are grave. The questions are disturbing.
44:29Can fee recovery ever justify alleged humiliation of a student where repeated warnings and pressures allowed to cross a line?
44:38And could this tragedy have been prevented? Could this young life have been saved?
44:46What is the family saying?
44:47Now, the student's family is demanding strict action while investigators are now examining the circumstances that led to the teenager's
44:55death.
44:56At the end of the day, the young life has been cut short.
44:59Our family is devastated. And serious questions are now that needs to be answered.
45:05Will the school? Will the board? Will anybody else really take responsibility for this?
45:10Importantly, learn. And not make it happen again.
45:16Well, you can...
45:17We've been told the child that you have to get known as the child.
45:25Can you remember how she has done it?
45:26He's been told that he was still in the middle of a school.
45:37He tells me how much does she have to be able to do it?
45:41He's been told. He says he's like, no, before he's not been told.
45:42He says, no, I want to go. I want to go.
45:43At all levels, I have to pay the price of my children.
45:48When I was 17 years old, I was born in DTI school.
45:53Every school was born in TTI,
45:55and I was born in school.
45:56It was very difficult for me.
46:02My father, Pravinder Singh,
46:06wrote a statement.
46:08My statement was made of the work of a union.
46:26All right, with that, it's a pack up on 5 Live today.
46:31But as always, we promised we will leave you every day with a health tip.
46:36Today, we are leaving you with what protein in yogurt is all about.
46:39Everybody is eating protein and practically everything and there are a lot of protein yogurts out in the market as
46:45well.
46:45So, this story tells you through which one to take, which one to toss.
46:54What have I made?
46:55I made a protein tower for all the protein power.
46:59Tang, tang, tang, tang, tang, tang, tang, tang.
47:02What has protein in your water?
47:03Everything has protein these days, right?
47:05It has protein in the rice, it has protein in the chips.
47:07So, why is curd behind it?
47:08Why is curd behind it?
47:09Look, in the last video, we have told you the difference between homemade curd and store-bought yogurt.
47:14Today, we will tell you about protein-specific dairy.
47:19Let's talk about the first thing about the dairy versus Greek yogurt.
47:23The dairy, nothing beats it.
47:25But the catch here is that the protein is only 3-4 grams per 100 grams.
47:30Greek yogurt, on the other hand, because it's concentrated.
47:34It's more protein than protein.
47:35That means it has about 7-10 grams of protein per 100 grams.
47:38Now, let's talk about Greek yogurt versus Skier.
47:41Now, it takes about 3 cups of milk to make 1 cup of Greek yogurt.
47:47But it takes around 4 cups of milk to make a cup of Skier.
47:52Which is why it has even more protein than your Greek yogurt.
47:56So, you can say that Skier is the big brother of Greek yogurt.
47:59It's thicker, creamier, more protein-dense, cultured dairy products.
48:04And traditionally, it was the protein-dense yogurt made in Iceland.
48:08But in many countries, including India, we can't say whether it's truly Icelandic.
48:15But protein content is a little bit more.
48:17In 100 grams of Skier, it's less than 9 to 12 grams of protein.
48:21But in addition to that, there are also very popular options
48:24which are in the name of protein yogurt in the market.
48:27There are two very popular options.
48:28I will tell you about both.
48:30In about 12 grams of protein, 100 grams of yogurt.
48:32In about 6 grams of protein, 100 grams of yogurt.
48:37But what is the thing about this?
48:39You always have to have a list of ingredients.
48:41You have to have to check whether the sugar is added,
48:44whether the stabilizer is added,
48:45whether the flavors are added,
48:46whether the artificial sweeteners are added.
48:47Especially if you are eating them on a regular basis.
48:50But let's talk about the cost.
48:51Look, the best, the best, the best, the best, the best, the best, the best,
48:54your home milk is.
48:55You will need 6-8 rupees and 1 cup of milk.
48:59After that, the Greek yogurt is 70 rupees for 100 grams.
49:04What is your Skier?
49:05That's about 75 to 95 rupees for 100 grams.
49:09And the commercial options you get,
49:10which are in the name of protein yogurt.
49:12They have different brands and different prices.
49:14So, what is the health-wealth verdict?
49:15So, if your goal is maximizing protein intake from dairy,
49:19then Skier is not a good option.
49:21If you want practical and affordable everyday options,
49:24then your high-protein options are available in the market.
49:27And by the way,
49:28you don't need to eat protein in dhaji.
49:30If your meal already has enough protein,
49:34if you have enough protein in your home,
49:36you don't need to add protein in dhaji.
49:38You don't need to eat protein in dhaji.
49:40Eat protein in dhaji.
49:41You don't need to eat protein in dhaji.
