00:00Well, you know, my mother always said good things comes in three.
00:03First, the Giants signed wide receiver, kick returner Braxton Berrios.
00:07Then they signed OBJ, and now they've signed vet wide receiver
00:11and former Super Bowl champ Juju Smith-Schuster.
00:14All three of these guys were called in for a workout on Monday morning,
00:18and now all three of them are now Giants.
00:21Smith-Schuster brings nine years of NFL experience,
00:25over 5,600 career receiving yards,
00:28and a Super Bowl championship pedigree to a Giants offense,
00:32looking for some proven depth and leadership.
00:35Now, the move makes plenty of sense,
00:39considering Juju's connection to new Giants offensive coordinator Matt Nagy.
00:44The two worked together during their time in Kansas City,
00:47where Juju put up a strong 2022 season with 78 catches for 933 yards
00:55and helped Kansas City win the Super Bowl that season.
00:58With injuries impacting parts of the Giants receiver group throughout offseason workouts,
01:04the front office clearly wanted a veteran who knows how to produce in big moments.
01:10Now, Juju may not be the explosive young playmaker he was early in his Pittsburgh Steelers career,
01:17but he's still a physical receiver who knows how to work the middle of the field,
01:23move the chains, and provide a reliable target for this offense.
01:27Now, the question becomes,
01:29how big of a role can he carve out in this Giants offense?
01:33If he can stay healthy and quickly build chemistry with Jackson Dart,
01:38don't be surprised if this signing ends up being one of the more underrated moves of the Giants offseason.
01:45You mentioned that him not too far.
01:46You mentioned how important to the Giantsurf type is here.
01:48You're all talking about
01:49and bye to the Giants offense.
01:50And praise God.
01:50And while you're moving forward,
