04:38A lot of times when these guys run from us, it's common for them to try to ingest the methamphetamine
04:42to eliminate that extra charge.
04:44We believe that he had ingested something because he became unresponsive.
04:48Now we have medical personnel.

04:52So while searching his bag, I found this.
04:55Looks like it's probably about a half pound of methamphetamine.

05:08So we saw him doing some drops at some other known drug dealers' houses.

05:16We knew he'd run.

05:20And as soon as he took off, I tried to light him up.
05:25He saw me blacked out.
05:28Finley deployed the spike strips, and the little chase ensued.
05:34And this is what we found on the car.
05:36We had a phone ping on him, so we knew where his location was at.
05:38We set up, and we had a marked unit come in and initiate a traffic enforcement stop.
05:43He ended up coming right where we had set up our spikes.
05:45We were able to deploy our spike strip in front of his car, which deflated his front left and rear
05:50left tires.
05:52Eventually, the vehicle became disabled right here, and he tried to foot bail to this yard.
05:56And wasn't able to get over the fence, thankfully.
05:58So that's going to be possession of a loaded firearm with a controlled substance.
06:03So custody is going to be transported to Eden Medical Center.
06:06It's just procedure for use of force.
06:07And when someone becomes unresponsive at any point, they're going to get sent code 3 to make sure all their
06:13vitals and everything's okay.
06:14He's going to go get checked out by medical staff, and hopefully everything ends up okay with him.
06:20We spiked this car when it took off from us, and then these guys were staged on Ashland right at
06:26the outlet of this neighborhood.
06:27He went to a dead end.
06:28We almost got him there, but then he slipped his way through a small gap.

06:34He ended up coming down Maddox, went wrong way, and tried to foot bail right here.
