Police satisfied with progress before coroner's jury; investigation centers on Lee and Frank

Late Thursday afternoon, police and detectives working the Phagan case said they were satisfied with the progress being made before the coroner's jury.

All other lines of inquiry appear to have been set aside. The current focus of police activity centers squarely on Newt Lee and Leo Frank.

Whatever evidence the police have accumulated, they are refusing to disclose it.

The full matter is expected to be taken up by the grand jury within the next few days.
