About:
Deadpool is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist/writer Rob Liefeld, the character first appeared in The New Mutants #98 (cover-dated February 1991). Initially Deadpool was depicted as a supervillain when he made his first appearance in The New Mutants and later in issues of X-Force, but later evolved into his more recognizable antiheroic persona. Deadpool, whose real name is Wade Winston Wilson, is a disfigured mercenary with the superhuman ability of regeneration and physical prowess. The character is known as the "Merc with a Mouth" because of his tendency to talk and joke constantly, including breaking the fourth wall for humorous effect and running gags.

The character's popularity has seen him featured in numerous forms of other media. In the 2004 series Cable & Deadpool, he refers to his own scarred appearance as "Ryan Reynolds crossed with a Shar-Pei" (though in the comic, Reynolds' name is misspelled as "Renolds"). Reynolds himself would eventually portray the character in the X-Men film series, appearing in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), Deadpool (2016), and its sequel Deadpool 2 (2018). Reynolds attributes Cable & Deadpool #2 to what got him hooked on the character and inspired him to bring the character to the movies. He is confirmed to continue playing the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

00:08It looks like Deadpool 4 is quietly moving toward becoming a real thing, and honestly,
00:13after everything that's happened, it feels like the next natural step.
00:16The Marvel Cinematic Universe has already changed a lot with the arrival of Deadpool,
00:21especially because Ryan Reynolds has turned Wade Wilson into one of the most recognizable
00:26and unpredictable characters in superhero movies.
00:30After two hugely successful films during the Fox era, Reynolds finally brought the character
00:35into the MCU with Deadpool and Wolverine.
00:38And that movie didn't just perform well, it completely dominated, becoming the highest
00:43grossing R-rated film of all time.
00:46Because of that kind of success, it feels less like a question of if and more like when
00:50the next chapter will happen, even though Marvel hasn't officially confirmed anything yet.
00:55What makes this situation interesting is that even though Deadpool 4 hasn't been formally
01:00announced, there are clear signs that things are moving in that direction.
01:05Reynolds himself has been described as being focused on what comes next for the character,
01:09which suggests that ideas are already being explored behind the scenes.
01:14There aren't any concrete plot details yet, but that's pretty normal at this stage, because
01:19Marvel tends to keep things tightly under wraps until they're ready to reveal them in a big
01:23way.
01:24But the fact that Reynolds is actively thinking about another installment says a lot, especially
01:30since he's been very selective about how Deadpool is used.
01:34The success of Deadpool and Wolverine plays a huge role in all of this because a $1.3 billion
01:39global box office run is impossible to ignore.
01:43It even surpassed Joker, which previously held the record for R-rated films.
01:48That kind of performance proves that audiences are more than willing to show up for edgier
01:53superhero content, even though the MCU was traditionally known for its more family-friendly tone.
02:00Because of that, Marvel now has more freedom to explore mature storytelling, and Deadpool
02:05is basically the perfect character to lead that charge.
02:08So continuing his story isn't just exciting creatively, it also makes a lot of sense from a business
02:14perspective.
02:15At the same time, Reynolds has been open about needing a bit of a break, because making a
02:20movie like Deadpool and Wolverine takes over your entire life.
02:23He mentioned that he wants to spend more time with his family, which is completely understandable,
02:29especially considering how demanding these productions can be.
02:32But that doesn't mean he's stepping away from the character.
02:35In fact, he's already shared some surprising ideas for what could come next.
02:39And one of the most interesting parts is that future stories might not fully revolve around
02:44Deadpool himself.
02:46Instead, he could take on more of a supporting role in certain projects, which is a different
02:50approach compared to his previous solo films.
02:53Even though that sounds like a shift, it actually opens up a bunch of possibilities, because it
02:58allows Deadpool to interact with a wider range of characters.
03:02Reynolds has also made it clear that he would always want to keep Deadpool and Wolverine
03:07connected in some way.
03:08That dynamic worked incredibly well in their last film, so bringing Hugh Jackman back again
03:14feels like a strong possibility.
03:16Their chemistry is a huge part of what made the movie such a hit, and continuing that partnership
03:21could be a major draw for audiences.
03:24Right now, neither Deadpool nor Wolverine has been officially announced for Avengers Doomsday,
03:29which is a bit surprising considering how big Deadpool and Wolverine turned out to be.
03:34But that might actually be part of a bigger plan, because Marvel could be saving their
03:38next appearance for something even more impactful, like Deadpool 4.
03:43It wouldn't be the first time the studio held back major characters to build anticipation,
03:48and when you look at how carefully they plan their phases, it makes sense.
03:52Even though there's no official confirmation yet, the overall pattern suggests that Deadpool's
03:58return is almost inevitable.
04:00Marvel has a history of maximizing its most popular characters, and Wade Wilson is definitely
04:06one of them.
04:07If you look at how often characters like Iron Man appeared across multiple films, it becomes
04:12clear that the studio likes to keep fan favorites in rotation.
04:15So, it would be unusual if Deadpool didn't continue showing up in future projects, even if those
04:21appearances come before a full solo sequel.
04:25One thing to keep in mind is that Marvel often takes its time with sequels.
04:29There were long gaps between films like Thor and Thor Love and Thunder, and even Ant-Man
04:34took years to complete its trilogy with Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania.
04:39So even though Deadpool 4 feels like it should happen soon, it might take a little time before
04:44everything lines up.
04:45But that doesn't mean it's not happening, it just means Marvel is planning carefully,
04:50which is usually a good sign.
04:52When it comes to the cast, there are already some obvious expectations.
04:56Deadpool himself will almost certainly return, because the entire franchise revolves around
05:02him.
05:02Beyond that, there's a strong chance that familiar faces like Dopinder, Blind Al, and Peter will
05:08come back too, because they've become a core part of the series.
05:11Deadpool's personal circle has grown over time, and that group dynamic adds a lot of humor and
05:17heart to the films.
05:18Then there's Wolverine, who has now become one of Deadpool's closest allies, even though
05:23their relationship is chaotic.
05:25It's possible that Wolverine could go back to being more of a lone figure, because that's
05:30a big part of his identity.
05:32But at the same time, Deadpool and Wolverine show that he's capable of forming meaningful
05:37connections, so bringing him back again wouldn't feel out of place.
05:41Still, the story might shift its focus slightly, especially if Marvel wants to expand the mutant
05:46side of the MCU.
05:49That's where things get really interesting, because Deadpool 4 could lean heavily into the
05:54introduction of the X-Men within the MCU.
05:57Deadpool joining the X-Men, even if it's just temporarily, feels like a natural progression.
06:02It would allow the film to explore new dynamics, while still keeping Deadpool's unique tone
06:07intact.
06:08And because the MCU is slowly building toward a bigger mutant storyline, this could be the
06:14perfect moment to push that forward.
06:16Story-wise, there are a lot of directions the film could take.
06:19Deadpool and Wolverine operated slightly outside the main timeline, using elements like the TVA
06:25to connect different realities.
06:27Because of that, Deadpool now has the ability to move between worlds, which creates endless
06:33storytelling opportunities.
06:34He could jump into the main MCU timeline, cross paths with new heroes, or even get involved
06:41in multiverse-level conflicts.
06:43There's also the possibility of him appearing in major crossover events before his next solo
06:48film.
06:49Something like Avengers Secret Wars would be a perfect place for Deadpool to show up, because
06:54that kind of story thrives on unexpected character interactions.
06:58And since Deadpool is known for breaking the fourth wall, he could bring a completely different
07:02energy to those large-scale events.
07:05At its core, though, any Deadpool 4 story would still revolve around Wade being a reluctant
07:10hero.
07:11He's never been the traditional savior type, but he always ends up protecting the people
07:16he cares about.
07:17That emotional anchor gives the character depth, even though the films are packed with humor
07:22and chaos.
07:23So while the setting and scale might change, that central idea will likely stay the same.
07:29Another important element is the way Deadpool interacts with other characters.
07:33His tendency to make self-aware jokes and comment on everything around him means that any crossover
07:39instantly feels different.
07:41That's why bringing in new characters, whether from the Avengers, the X-Men, or somewhere else,
07:46can make the story feel fresh without losing what makes Deadpool unique.
07:51Looking at everything together, the future of the character feels wide open.
07:55There are so many possible directions, whether it's a full Deadpool 4, appearances in team
08:00up movies, or even smaller roles that build towards something bigger.
08:04Because the MCU is constantly evolving, Deadpool has the flexibility to fit into almost any type
08:10of story.
08:11So even though Marvel hasn't officially confirmed Deadpool 4, the momentum is clearly there.
08:17The success of the last film, Reynolds' ongoing interest, and the growing importance of mutants
08:22in the MCU all point toward another chapter happening sooner rather than later.
08:28It might take some time, and there are still a lot of moving pieces, but everything suggests
08:33that Wade Wilson's journey is far from over.
08:35And when it does continue, it has the potential to be just as bold, chaotic, and entertaining
08:41as everything that came before.
08:43And that wraps up today's video.
