00:10People have been throwing around this idea that Bullseye might actually be the first
00:14hint towards something bigger like a new Thunderbolts lineup or even the Dark Avengers in the MCU,
00:19and that theory isn't coming out of nowhere. When you really look at what's been happening,
00:24especially after Daredevil Born Again Season 2, it starts to feel like Marvel is quietly
00:29setting up something much larger in the background. The real question isn't just if Bullseye joins a
00:35team, but when and which one he ends up being part of. Now, if you dive into Born Again Season
00:402,
00:41one of the most interesting developments is Bullseye's connection with Mr. Charles.
00:45That relationship alone changes everything, because Mr. Charles isn't just some random figure,
00:51he's directly tied to Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. And since Valentina is not only the CIA director,
00:58but also the one orchestrating the whole Thunderbolts New Avengers situation, it puts Bullseye in a very
01:04strategic position. It basically means he's already orbiting the same power structure that's building
01:10these teams. What makes this even more interesting is that Mr. Charles has been recruiting enhanced
01:16individuals for global missions. These aren't small jobs either, they're the kind of covert operations
01:22that test loyalty, skill, and control. And we already know that characters like Luke Cage have
01:28been involved in this network. So when Bullseye gets pulled into this circle, it doesn't feel random,
01:33it feels like a calculated move, almost like he's being tested for something bigger. And that's where
01:39things start to click. Because if Bullseye proves himself useful enough, it's only a matter of time
01:45before Valentina considers him for a more official role. Right now, that could mean a spot on the new
01:51Avengers. But let's be real for a second. Fitting Bullseye into that lineup isn't exactly smooth.
01:57Even though he had a bit of a redemption arc, he's still unpredictable, still dangerous,
02:02and still someone who doesn't fully align with traditional hero values. You've got characters like
02:08Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, and Sentry, people whom, even though they operate
02:14in gray areas, still function as a team. Bullseye, on the other hand, feels like chaos waiting to happen,
02:21so forcing him into that group might not work naturally. And that's probably why Marvel might
02:27be thinking beyond just the new Avengers. This is where the Dark Avengers, or a second version
02:33of the Thunderbolts, starts to make a lot more sense. If Valentina and Mr. Charles lose influence
02:38over the current Avengers lineup, they're not just going to sit back and do nothing. These are
02:43characters who thrive in control and manipulation, so forming a new team, one that operates in darker,
02:50more morally flexible ways, feels like the logical next step. Bullseye fits perfectly into that kind
02:56of setup. If you look at the comics, he's already been part of both the Thunderbolts and the Dark
03:02Avengers. During events like Civil War and Secret Invasion, he worked alongside characters like
03:08Taskmaster and Venom. And then, when Norman Osborn formed the Dark Avengers, Bullseye even took on
03:14the Hawkeye identity. So there's already a strong blueprint for Marvel to follow. What makes this
03:20even more exciting is how the MCU has been evolving. The original Thunderbolts are being positioned more
03:26like official heroes now, which creates space for something darker to emerge. A new Thunderbolts
03:32team that leans closer to its comic roots, or a full-on Dark Avengers squad, could easily
03:37step in as a more dangerous counterpart. And if that happens, it would honestly be surprising
03:43not to see Bullseye included. But timing is everything here. Even though
03:48Born Again Season 2 sets up this path, Bullseye probably isn't jumping into an Avengers-level
03:53role immediately. He's not expected to appear in Avengers Doomsday, and even if there's some
03:58hidden cameo, it's unlikely he'll be part of the main roster. Secret Wars also feels like
04:04a stretch, because that story is already packed with massive multiversal stakes, and Bullseye
04:10isn't exactly a central figure in that scale of storytelling, at least not yet.
04:15That said, Born Again Season 3 is where things could really start building. Since it's already
04:21confirmed that Wilson Bethel is returning, the show has the perfect opportunity to explore
04:26Bullseye's evolving relationship with Mr. Charles. And by the end of that season, it
04:32wouldn't be surprising if Valentina herself steps in and officially offers him a place
04:36on a team, whether that's the Dark Avengers, a new Thunderbolts group, or even something
04:41entirely unexpected. If Marvel plays this right, the best case scenario is that Bullseye's
04:48big team debut happens after Secret Wars. That way, they can take their time introducing other
04:53characters who would eventually stand beside him. Because a team like the Dark Avengers
04:58isn't just about one person, it's about a lineup that reflects twisted versions of heroism.
05:04But there's also another possibility, and it's not as exciting. There's a chance that Bullseye
05:09never joins any Avengers-level team at all.
05:12Born Again Season 3 could take his character in a completely different direction, where he realizes
05:18he doesn't want to be controlled by powerful figures like Valentina or Mr. Charles. If that
05:23happens, he might walk away from that entire system, cutting off his chances of ever being
05:28part of those teams. Still, that outcome would feel like a missed opportunity, especially because
05:34Bethel himself has shown interest in taking Bullseye into that kind of team dynamic. And from a storytelling
05:41perspective, it just makes sense. The groundwork is already there, it just needs to be followed
05:46through. Looking back at Born Again Season 2, it's clear that Bullseye's story took a huge turn.
05:53At the end of the season, he's no longer just a lone assassin, he's someone being positioned
05:58for something bigger. And that shift started earlier, with his unexpected redemption arc.
06:04Even though he still has violent tendencies, the show gave him moments that hinted at change.
06:09He did some terrible things, like killing Foggy Nelson under Vanessa Fisk's orders,
06:14and later taking revenge by killing Vanessa herself. He also wiped out members of the
06:20anti-vigilante task force. But at the same time, he saved the governor of New York, which was a major
06:26turning point. That act wasn't random, it was something he did at Daredevil's request, almost
06:32like he was trying to prove he could be more than just a weapon. So, you've got this character who
06:37stuck
06:38between two paths. On one side, there's redemption and the possibility of becoming something better.
06:44On the other, there's manipulation, power, and the pull of darker influences like Valentina.
06:50And that tension is exactly what makes his future so interesting.
06:54At the same time, the MCU is setting up something even bigger with the multiverse. The ending of
07:00Captain America Brave New World hinted that other versions of heroes from different universes could become
07:05threats. That idea alone opens the door for a completely different kind of conflict,
07:11one where heroes and villains aren't clearly defined. When survival is on the line,
07:16even characters who see themselves as heroes might end up doing terrible things. And that's where the
07:21concept of the Dark Avengers becomes even more powerful. Imagine a team made up of alternate versions
07:27of familiar heroes, each believing they're doing the right thing, even if it means destroying another
07:33world. That kind of moral complexity could make future Avengers movies feel very different.
07:39Instead of a clear good vs. evil story, it becomes a clash of perspectives. And if someone like Bullseye
07:46is part of that world, it only adds to the unpredictability. In the comics, the Dark Avengers
07:51weren't truly heroic. They were individuals pretending to be heroes for their own gain. But in the MCU,
07:58this concept could evolve into something deeper. These characters might genuinely believe they're
08:04saving the universe even if it comes at the cost of another. And that's what makes the future of the
08:09MCU so exciting right now. You've got characters like Bullseye being slowly positioned for bigger roles,
08:16teams like the Thunderbolts evolving into something more official, and the looming possibility of the Dark
08:22Avengers bringing a darker edge to the franchise. So while nothing is fully confirmed yet, all the
08:29signs are pointing in one direction. Bullseye isn't just a side character anymore, he's becoming a key
08:34piece in a much larger puzzle. And whether he ends up as part of the New Avengers, a new Thunderbolts
08:40team, or the Dark Avengers, one thing is clear, his story is far from over.
