00:13In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, peace be with you.
00:18We acknowledge our sins. We acknowledge God's great love.
00:22You died for us. Lord, have mercy.
00:25You rose again from the dead. Christ, have mercy.
00:28You call us to life eternal. Lord, have mercy.
00:32May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to healing and life everlasting.
00:39Let us pray.
00:41Grant us, O Lord, we pray that the course of our world may be directed by your peaceful rule,
00:51and that your church may rejoice untroubled in her devotion.
00:57Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the Holy Spirit, God, forever and
01:04ever. Amen.
01:06A reading from the first letter of St. Peter.
01:09Everything will soon come to an end, and so to pray better, keep a calm and sober mind.
01:17Above all, never let your love for each other grow insincere, since love covers over many a sin.
01:25Welcome each other into your houses without grumbling.
01:30Each one of you has received a special grace, so like good stewards, responsible for all these different graces of
01:39God, put yourselves at the service of others.
01:42If you are a speaker, speak in words, which seem to come from God.
01:47If you are a helper, help as though every action was done in God's orders, so that in everything God
01:55may receive the glory.
01:57Through Jesus Christ, since to him alone belong all the glory and power, forever and ever. Amen.
02:05My dear people, you must not think it unaccountable that you should be tested by fire.
02:14There is nothing extraordinary in what has happened to you.
02:19If you can have some share in the sufferings of Christ, be glad,
02:24because you will enjoy a much greater gladness when his glory is revealed.
02:33The word of the Lord.
02:35Thanks be to God.
02:41The Lord comes to judge the earth.
02:44The Lord comes to judge the earth.
02:47Proclaim to the nations, God is king.
02:49The world he made firm in his place.
02:52He will judge the peoples in fairness.
02:55The Lord comes to judge the earth.
02:57Let the heavens rejoice and earth be glad.
03:01Let the sea and all within it thunder praise.
03:03Let the land and all it bears rejoice.
03:07All the trees of the wood shout for joy at the presence of the Lord.
03:11For he comes.
03:12He comes to rule the earth.
03:14The Lord comes to judge the earth.
03:17With justice he will rule the world.
03:20He will judge the peoples with his truth.
03:22The Lord comes to judge the earth.
03:26Alleluia, alleluia.
03:27I have chosen you from the world, says the Lord,
03:30to go and bear fruit that will last.
03:32Alleluia.
03:35The Lord be with you.
03:37A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark.
03:40Glory to you, O Lord.
03:42After he had been acclaimed by the crowds,
03:45Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple.
03:49He looked all around him, but as it was now late,
03:53he went out to Bethany with the twelve.
03:55Next day, as they were leaving Bethany, he felt hungry.
03:59Seeing a fig tree and leaves some distance away,
04:03he went to see if he could find any fruit on it.
04:06But when he came up to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.
04:13And he addressed the fig tree.
04:15May no one ever eat fruit from you again, he said.
04:19And his disciples heard him say this.
04:22So they reached Jerusalem.
04:24And he went into the temple, began driving out those who were selling and buying there.
04:31He upset the tables of the money changers and the chairs of those who were selling pigeons.
04:37Nor would he allow anyone to carry anything to the temple.
04:43And he told them and said,
04:45Does not scripture say,
04:48My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples?
04:51But you have turned it into a robber's den.
04:55This came to the ears of the chief priests and the scribes,
04:58and they tried to find some way of doing away with him.
05:02They were afraid of him, because the people were carried away by his teaching.
05:07And when evening came, he went out of the city.
05:11Next morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree wither to the roots.
05:16Peter remembered,
05:17Look, Rabbi, he said to Jesus,
05:20The fig tree you cursed has withered away.
05:23Jesus answered,
05:25Have faith in God, I tell you solemnly.
05:28If anyone says to this mountain,
05:30Get up and throw yourself into the sea,
05:33with no hesitation in his heart,
05:35but believing that what he says will happen,
05:38it will be done for him.
05:40I tell you, therefore,
05:42everything you ask and pray for,
05:44believe that you have it already,
05:46and it will be yours.
05:48And when you stand in prayer,
05:50forgive whatever you have against anybody,
05:53so that your Father in heaven
05:55may forgive your failings too.
05:57But if you do not forgive your Father in heaven,
06:01you will not forgive your failings either.
06:08The Gospel of the Lord.
06:10Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
06:16Jesus made a stand there about the sanctity of the temple
06:20and the abuse of the temple.
06:21There is a symbolic action in the fig tree,
06:26reminding us to bear fruit all seasons,
06:30in season and out of season.
06:32We are not just as seasonal responses
06:36to the kingdom of God,
06:38but we always need to be constantly responding
06:41and bearing fruit.
06:42We don't just pick and choose.
06:44We are called now to go through,
06:47as St. Peter says,
06:48trials and tribulations and challenges,
06:51God is with us.
06:53And we hear that call to forgive
06:57and care and love for others,
07:00to really be a caring, loving person.
07:03So, if we don't forgive,
07:06we are holding out
07:07and our heart's not able to be free.
07:10We thank God for the gift of his compassion.
07:13Remember how Jesus sought out the outcasts,
07:17the sinners,
07:18the bad people,
07:19and brought them back into life.
07:21It's the hypocrites
07:22that he was really very strongly speaking,
07:25that he spoke very strongly against.
07:27So, we pray that we can be faithful listeners
07:29to the word of God
07:31and collaborators in the kingdom of God.
07:40Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
07:42for to your goodness we have this bread to offer,
07:45which earth has given human hands have made.
07:47It will become for us the bread of life.
07:50Blessed be God forever.
08:08Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
08:11for to your goodness we have this wine to offer,
08:13fruit of divine work of human hands.
08:16It will become our spiritual drink.
08:18Blessed be God forever.
08:20Amen.
08:22Amen.
08:30Let us pray, brothers and sisters,
08:32that my sacrifice and yours
08:34may be acceptable to God, our Almighty Father.
08:38May the Lord accept his sacrifice at our hands
08:40for the praise and glory of God's name
08:43for our good and the good of God's Holy Church.
08:46O God, who provide gifts to thee,
08:49we offer it in your name
08:50and count our oblations as signs of our desire
08:54to serve you with devotion.
08:55We ask of your mercy
08:58that you grant as the source of merit
09:00that you grant as the source of merit
09:04may also help us to attain merit's reward.
09:08Through Christ our Lord.
09:10Amen.
09:11The Lord be with you.
09:13Lift up your hearts.
09:15Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
09:18It is truly right and just
09:20our duty and our salvation
09:21always and everywhere
09:23we are to give you thanks, Father Most Holy,
09:25to your beloved Son, Jesus Christ,
09:28your word for whom you made all things,
09:30whom you sent as our Saviour and Redeemer,
09:33incarnate by the Holy Spirit
09:34and born of the Virgin,
09:36fulfilling your will
09:37and gaining for you a holy people.
09:40He stretched out his hands
09:42as he endured his passion
09:43so as to break the bonds of death
09:45and manifest the resurrection.
09:47And so with the angels and all the saints
09:50we declare your glory
09:51as with one voice we acclaim
09:53Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of hosts.
09:57Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
10:00Hosanna in the highest.
10:02Blessed is he who comes
10:03in the name of the Lord.
10:05Hosanna in the highest.
10:07You are indeed holy, O Lord,
10:09the fount of all holiness.
10:11Make holy therefore these gifts, we pray,
10:13by sending down your Spirit upon them
10:15like did you fall,
10:16so that they may become for us
10:18the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
10:21At the time he was betrayed
10:23and entered willingly into his passion,
10:26he took bread
10:27and giving thanks broke it
10:29and gave it to his disciples,
10:31saying,
10:31take this all of you
10:33and eat of it
10:34for this is my body
10:36which will be given up for you.
10:43In a similar way,
10:45when supper was ended,
10:47he took the chalice
10:48and once more giving thanks,
10:49he gave it to his disciples,
10:51saying,
10:52take this all of you
10:53and drink from it
10:54for this is the chalice of my blood,
10:57the blood of the new
10:58and eternal covenant
10:59which will be pulled out
11:01for you and for many
11:03for the forgiveness of sins.
11:05Do this in memory of me.
11:15The mystery of faith.
11:17Save us,
11:18Savior of the world,
11:19for by your cross
11:20and resurrection
11:22you have set us free.
11:26Therefore,
11:27as we celebrate
11:27the memorial of his death
11:29and resurrection,
11:30we offer you, Lord,
11:31the bread of life
11:32and the chalice of salvation,
11:34giving thanks
11:35that you've held us worthy
11:36to be in your presence
11:38and minister to you.
11:41Humbly we pray
11:42that partaking of the body
11:44and blood of Christ
11:45we may be gathered into one
11:48by the Holy Spirit.
11:50Remember, Lord,
11:51your church spread
11:52throughout the world
11:53and bring her
11:53to the fullness of charity.
11:55together with Cleo,
11:57our Pope,
11:57me, your unworthy servant
11:59and all the clergy
12:01and the entire people
12:02your Son has gained for you.
12:04Remember also
12:05our brothers and sisters
12:06who have fallen asleep
12:08in the hope
12:08of the resurrection
12:09and all who have died
12:11in your mercy.
12:12Welcome them
12:13into the light
12:14of your face.
12:15Have mercy on us all,
12:17we pray,
12:18that with the blessed
12:18Virgin Mary,
12:19Mother of God,
12:20blessed Joseph,
12:21her spouse,
12:22with the blessed
12:23Apostles and all
12:25the saints
12:25who have pleased you
12:26throughout the ages,
12:28we may merit to be
12:29coerced to eternal life
12:31and may praise
12:32and glorify you
12:33through your Son,
12:34Jesus Christ.
12:38Through him
12:38and with him
12:39and in him,
12:40O God,
12:40Almighty Father,
12:41in the unity
12:42of the Holy Spirit,
12:43all glory and honor
12:45is yours
12:45forever and ever.
12:47Amen.
12:49At the Savior's command
12:51and formed
12:51by divine teaching
12:52we dare to say,
12:54Our Father,
12:55who art in heaven,
12:56hallowed be thy name,
12:58thy kingdom come,
12:59thy will be done
13:00on earth
13:00as it is in heaven.
13:02Give us this day
13:03our daily bread
13:04and forgive us
13:05our trespasses
13:06as we forgive
13:08those who trespass
13:09against us
13:10and lead us
13:11not into temptation
13:12but deliver us
13:13from evil.
13:15Deliver us,
13:15Lord,
13:16we pray,
13:16from every evil.
13:18Graciously grant peace
13:19in our days
13:19that by the help
13:20of your mercy
13:21we may be always
13:22free from sin
13:23and safe from all distress
13:25as we await
13:26the blessed hope
13:27and the coming
13:28of our Savior,
13:30Jesus Christ.
13:31For the kingdom,
13:32the power
13:33and the glory
13:34are yours
13:34now and forever.
13:37Lord Jesus Christ,
13:38we said to your apostles,
13:40Peace I leave you,
13:41my peace I give you,
13:42look not on our sins
13:44or on the faith
13:45of your church
13:46and graciously grant
13:48her peace and unity
13:49in accordance
13:50with your will
13:51who live and reign
13:52forever and ever.
13:54Amen.
13:54The peace of our Lord
13:55Jesus Christ
13:56be with you always.
13:58Let us offer each other
13:59a sign of the peace
14:00that Jesus offers to us.
14:02Peace be with you all.
14:04Lamb of God,
14:06you take away
14:06the sins of the world.
14:08Have mercy on us.
14:10Lamb of God,
14:11you take away
14:12the sins of the world.
14:13Have mercy on us.
14:15Lamb of God,
14:17you take away
14:17the sins of the world.
14:19Grant us peace.
14:37Behold the Lamb of God,
14:38who takes away
14:39the sins of the world.
14:40Happy are those
14:41who are called
14:42to the supper of the Lamb.
14:44Lord, I am not worthy
14:45you should enter under my roof,
14:46but only say the word
14:48and my soul
14:49shall be healed.
14:51My Jesus,
14:52I believe that you are present
14:54in the most blessed sacrament.
14:56I love you above all things
14:57and I desire to receive you
14:59into my soul.
15:00Since I cannot now
15:02receive you sacramentally,
15:03commonly, spiritually
15:05into my heart,
15:06I embrace you
15:07as if you were already there
15:09and unite myself
15:10wholly to you.
15:12Never permit me
15:13to be separated from you.
15:15Amen.
15:16Let us pray.
15:24Nourished by your saving gifts,
15:26we beseech in your mercy, Lord,
15:28that by the same sacrament
15:30with which you feed us
15:32in this present age,
15:33you may make us partakers
15:34of eternal life.
15:36Through Christ our Lord.
15:37Amen.
15:38The Lord be with you.
15:40And may the peace
15:41and the blessing
15:42of the Father
15:42and of the Son
15:43and of the Holy Spirit
15:45come upon you
15:45and remain always with you.
15:47Let us go
15:48and proclaim the gospel
15:50by our lives.
15:53Go in peace.
15:54God bless you.
15:55God bless your day.
15:58God bless you.
15:59God bless you.
