00:00...to give us the things that they have to give us, and if they do, that's great, and if they
00:04won't, then the man on my left is going to finish him off.
00:07Mr. President, how would you characterize the current state of the talks with Iran, I guess, if it were a
00:12football field, what yard line would you be on?
00:14Well, I think we're doing very well. They are starting to give us the things that they have to give
00:19us, and if they do, that's great, and if they won't, then the man on my left is going to
00:23finish him off.
00:25Is there a time frame in your mind?
00:27What?
00:27Is there a time frame in your mind for...
00:29I mean, it happens quickly. The problem is every time I mention a time frame, for instance, I see, you
00:35know, we've been doing this for a few months.
00:38Vietnam lasted 19 years. Korea lasted eight years. Afghanistan lasted many years. They were all many, many years, and we
00:47were into it for a few months, and I read about you people like you.
00:51What's taking so long? But we're in it. You know, we lost between two wars, two big wars, Venezuela and
00:58Iran.
00:58We lost 13 souls, 13 great people, met the parents, great people, and it's a terrible thing, but 13.
01:06I mean, if you look at the war casualties and the deaths and wars from Vietnam and all that they
01:13lost hundreds of thousands of people in numerous of these wars.
01:18We want, we're very cognizant of that. We want to lose very few. We want very few to be injured.
01:23We're very, we're very careful.
01:26But war is war. War is dangerous. But we've lost 13. I saw the Democrats took an ad putting in
01:32the 13 people that were lost.
01:33And when you look at hundreds of thousands of people that were lost in the Middle East, Iraq, all the
01:41different wars we were in,
01:42and we have done an amazing job. With that being said, I hate to lose 13. I hate to lose
01:48one, but we've been very, we've been very, we've been very capable.
01:53I mean, when you think of it, we took over Venezuela in one day. We have done a similar job,
02:00but we said, well, give them a little chance at the request of somebody that we greatly respect from Pakistan,
02:05the field marshal and the prime minister. They've been great. They asked us, would we pause the war for a
02:12little while because they'd like to do it. So we will do that.
02:15But we had them beat. They're, you know, no, no better now. We could, we could close it out very
02:21quickly.
02:22If we can do it in a different way, that'd be good. If we get everything we, we want, but
02:27we could close it out very, very quickly.
02:29And we may have to, I don't think so, but we may have to.
02:35I don't think so.
