00:04No, not really, just Jamal Jarrett, we play in the same high school team.
00:09Grimsley High School, so other than that, I knew Cam Crawford,
00:12some of the guys from the All-American game in 2024.
00:15But other than that, new face in the room, and I just had to put my head down.
00:19Have you noticed any growth from those guys from when you knew them in high school?
00:24Yeah, John grew a lot, I guess I would say.
00:27High school, if y'all have seen John High School, he was a whole different person than he is now.
00:31And I love that from my brother, he's just a big guy that loves to play the game.
00:37So you need a guy like that around you.
00:40You know, you're obviously new, you've been here for a few months with this team,
00:43but you're one of the older guys, one of the more experienced guys.
00:45You've already played 20 plus games in college.
00:48Do you feel like you have to take a little bit more of a leadership role,
00:51since you are one of the older, more experienced guys,
00:53and kind of teach some of these young guys, even though you're new to the team yourself?
00:56Yeah, I feel like just coming in from a new school, I obviously got to learn a new system,
01:05learn new offense, get to know the guys and know the quarterbacks that are distributing the ball.
01:09So, I mean, I'm really just learning right now, trying to get a feel for the offense,
01:15while I'm still helping the young guys, I'm making sure they're good,
01:18but I'm making sure that I'm good too.
01:20So, you feel me, it's, I don't know, just come with it.
01:23You know, I don't feel like I'm the oldest in the room.
01:25I feel like, you know, I'm just here to get better and help the team any way I can.
01:29You know, I'm out of my place in the room.
