00:07Yeah, you know, I think when you're in a new system, so much of it is learning what you have
00:11to do the night before, getting the script down, getting the menu down, the operation down so you can just
00:15go out there and execute. Now it's having familiarity, having running these plays a lot. I can just go out
00:20there and react and play off the defense. So it just, it's really helpful as a quarterback being in the
00:24same system and I'm thankful to be in it for a second year and just continue to take those next
00:29steps every day and it
00:29and just continue to be disciplined with the reads and taking it one day at a time.
00:33You mentioned the talent in the 2026 class and it is impressive. Part of it is one of the most
00:39impressive offensive line classes at USC has been in a while like Kenai and Vlad. Have you seen anything specific
00:44from those younger tackles in five practices?
00:48No doubt. I mean, offensive line, I'd say in college, the transition is one of the toughest ones. I mean,
00:53it takes a little time, but like I said, those guys have come in and done an excellent job seeing
00:57those guys compete, especially against our D line.
01:00Going against those guys every day is making them better and you talk about good on good and they're competing
01:04against the best every single day and those guys are doing a great job of just learning, taking it one
01:07day at a time, competing and I'm really excited to see what the future holds for all those guys.
01:12Stay on tangent, you talked about the class and how good they are. Which of these young wide receivers have
01:16come to sit down?
01:17Yeah, I mean, the four of them, Luke, Trent, KD and I'm missing one, Tron. I mean, those four guys
01:25just from day one, competitive, making catches in traffic, running great routes.
01:30I don't think KD has missed a vertical deep ball down the field yet. Going up and making plays, Trent
01:36is as reliable and consistent as it gets. A lot of similarities to Makai. That whole group is, there's some
01:42dogs and I'm excited to see those guys and they got a chance to be a really, really special group.
