USC Trojans Wide Receiver Corey Simms discusses how their players have progressed since last spring. Simms talks about how he has progressed from being a vet and having experience, he said the young guys have come in looking like vets so it will be a fun year.

00:02Oh, yeah, that's my guy.
00:03He always come in, show support, teach me how, what, like anything I need.
00:07He always been in our corner, you know, teaches us whatever we need to do.
00:12What have you seen Terrell bring in as a transfer?
00:15He's a vet, a vet, like, does everything amazing.
00:18Like, he leads with pride.
00:20That's what I say, and so I'm gonna leave you in.
00:24In what ways, how different is this year versus a year ago for you, spring practice?
00:29You were here last spring, right?
00:30Mm-hmm.
00:31How are things differently, and where maybe have you grown and progressed as a player?
00:36I'd probably just say, like, being a vet, like, being here, like, experience.
00:41That's why I say that's the biggest thing.
00:43The more experience you have, the more well off you will be.
00:46And the young guys came in like vets, so everybody coming in and doing their job,
00:50and it's gonna be a fun year.

00:52Obviously, you were a special teams guy last year.
00:54What have you seen from Coach Eckler kind of coming in as a new coordinator?
00:58The energy he brings to the special team is, like, amazing.
01:01Like, firing everybody up, like, he makes special teams.
01:05Like, everybody wants to get on special teams.
01:07It's, like, the funnest thing to do.
01:08He brings a lot of that.
