00:00I was having so many true freshman early and early as one of these are guys who should still be
00:03in high school.
00:04What's the process been like of getting them acclimated to college football for first time?
00:07Yeah, I mean, I think this group, I think it's handling it pretty well.
00:11A lot of these guys did a nice job through the recruiting process of trying to be up here a
00:15lot.
00:16And so I think it's helped the acclimatization of those guys.
00:19I think our older players, our returners have helped, and they've come out here and they've competed hard in the
00:23beginning.
00:24So a lot of guys I think will help this football team and help this football team quickly.
00:28How much adversity have you had a chance to throw at the guys and how have they responded to it?
00:34We've been able through the first six to throw quite a bit, which, I mean, listen, the best part of
00:38adversity you can throw is put another good player in front of them.
00:41I mean, really, it's competition, right, at the end of the day.
00:44And so, you know, we're having, because of the depth and the talent and even the, you know, younger part
00:51of the roster, you know, being a little bit further along than it's been in the past, I think we're
00:55feeling that.
00:56You know, there is a lot of depth, there is a lot of talent out here, there's a lot of
01:00competition.
01:01You know, and with that, that creates different opportunities for us as coaches to structure the practices, to create some
01:07of that adversity as well,
01:08especially when you've got the number of people practicing that we do right now.
01:12I mean, we've just been able to do a little bit more.
01:14We've been able to push them a little bit further, and I think that's going to pay dividends for us
01:18down the line.
