00:12yes we have actually brought and this is it's sad to say this but we have no choice demolition
00:18orders and we have had the participation of police and other like agencies who have been
00:24working with us to remove some of these obstructions that may cause potential chaos when the rain comes
00:33it is not an approach that we were happy with but we have no choice in this matter in going
00:38forward
00:46we are ready all our equipment up and functioning the service we ensure that we have enough sand
00:53sandbags other supplies all our shelter preparations have been completed since last month um we know
01:00where everything is and we have been monitoring we actually having some additional staff uh sent to
01:07the corporation we have actually paid more attention to some of the areas where we are prone to flooding
01:12especially cleaning earthen drains within our region
01:20so can we expect less flooding in tunapuna this rainy season i think we can expect a better
01:28handled rainy rainy season and the response from the tunapuna corporation will be a greater one than all
01:35the years previously and that we look forward to again an uneventful rainy season this year we have
01:42also seen that we all have a unusual amount of or less rain as the case may be because we
01:48have an extended
01:49dry dry spell so we are hoping that that happens and that we can better control what is happening within
01:55the region
