Duarte. – En un dramático acto de desesperación, el regidor del municipio de Pimentel por el Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM), Carlos Luis Montero Gómez, se arrodilló en medio de una calle completamente inundada de lodo y agua sucia para implorar la intervención directa del presidente de la República, Luis Abinader.

Montero, notablemente afectado por las condiciones en las que vive su comunidad, hizo un llamado vehemente al mandatario, solicitándole que visite la zona personalmente y sin previo aviso, para que pueda constatar la realidad sin "maquillajes" por parte de las autoridades locales.

"Le pido en nombre del pueblo que venga usted personalmente, señor Presidente. No le avise a nadie, no le diga a nadie que viene para acá... porque cuando usted viene, le tiran un maquillaje, hacen dos o tres cositas y lo maquillan para que usted no sienta el verdadero terror que estamos sintiendo en Pimentel", expresó el funcionario municipal.




Durante su intervención, el comunitario detalló las graves consecuencias que la falta de asfalto y el colapso del sistema de drenaje están provocando en el municipio.

Aseguró que el comercio local está "destruido" y que muchos negocios han quebrado debido a que los clientes y suplidores no pueden acceder a la zona.

Explicó que los residentes gastan sumas insostenibles de dinero reparando sus vehículos, afirmando que "hasta las jeepetas sufren aquí".

Advirtió que la población civil está enfermando debido a la exposición constante al polvo, el lodo y las aguas de cloaca estancadas.

"Nosotros somos humanos, no somos animales, Presidente. Ya nosotros no aguantamos más", concluyó el ciudadano con los brazos abiertos, en medio de la deteriorada vía pública mientras un motoconchista y un jinete pasaban con dificultad a sus espaldas.

Los comunitarios de Pimentel esperan que este video, que ya empieza a difundirse en las redes sociales, llegue a oídos del Poder Ejecutivo para que se ordene el asfaltado inmediato y el arreglo de sus calles.
