Comunitarios de la urbanización Álvarez en SFM asumen bacheo ante el olvido de las autoridades

SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS.– Residentes de la urbanización Álvarez denunciaron el abandono en el que se encuentran por parte de las autoridades municipales y gubernamentales, viéndose en la necesidad de costear e intervenir por sus propios medios el deteriorado estado de las vías públicas.

Ante la falta de respuesta del Ayuntamiento y de las instituciones correspondientes, los vecinos organizaron una colecta comunitaria para adquirir cemento y materiales de construcción. Con palas y carretillas en mano, asumieron los trabajos de bacheo para reparar de forma provisional los badenes y tramos maltratados que dificultan la transitabilidad y provocan daños en sus vehículos.

“Estamos haciendo de tripas corazón buscando la forma para que los vehículos puedan pasar mejor. Este bacheo es solo un paliativo, no la solución definitiva. Nos sentimos huérfanos de autoridades mientras vemos que en otros sectores sí se está trabajando”, manifestó Magdaleno Cruz, comunitario de la zona.

Exigen solución al suministro de agua potable

Además del deterioro vial, los comunitarios expusieron la crítica escasez de agua potable que afecta a las familias del sector. Explicaron que, según los diagnósticos técnicos, la solución requiere la instalación de unos cinco tubos de interconexión desde las inmediaciones del puente cercano para canalizar el recurso hacia la urbanización.

Los moradores hicieron un llamado de auxilio urgente al Ayuntamiento Local y al Instituto Nacional de Aguas Potables y Alcantarillados (INAPA), para que acudan en su asistencia y resuelvan de manera definitiva ambas problemáticas.
