“Cachete”, buscado por el DICRIM en SFM se presenta ante las autoridades

SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS. — Jhasniel José Estévez Ramos, alias “Cachote” o “El Gordo”, se entregó voluntariamente a la Policía Nacional en San Francisco de Macorís, acompañado de su abogado, el licenciado Francisco Rodríguez, tras percatarse de que figuraba activamente en las redes sociales como uno de los buscados por las autoridades.  Estévez Ramos es vinculado por los medios y las investigaciones a un caso de homicidio ocurrido el pasado mes de agosto en la comunidad El Cercado, donde resultó muerto Joel Muñoz Almánzar, alias “El Jevo”.  Durante su entrega en las instalaciones del DICRIM, Estévez Ramos negó rotundamente tener relación con el caso y cuestionó por qué se le involucra.  "Yo vine a entregarme para que esto se resuelva y seclarezcan los hechos. No tengo nada que ver con eso, yo andaba haciendo mi vida normal", expresó el joven, señalando que se enteró de su búsqueda a través de una publicación difundida en redes sociales.  Por su parte, el abogado defensor Francisco Rodríguez explicó que su cliente decidió presentarse ante las autoridades luego de que su imagen fuera divulgada públicamente. El representante legal indicó además que Estévez Ramos no se encontraba prófugo de la justicia, ya que incluso había asistido de manera normal a una audiencia en el Palacio de Justicia el pasado 10 de septiembre.  Las autoridades policiales y el DICRIM mantienen la investigación abierta para esclarecer los detalles de este caso y determinar las medidas legales correspondientes que se adoptarán con el imputado.
