00:00In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful
00:05Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His servant so that he may be a warner to the worlds.
00:15He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and who has not taken a son and has no partner in dominion, and who created everything and determined its measure precisely.
00:38They have taken besides Him gods who create nothing, yet they themselves are created, and they possess neither harm nor benefit for themselves, nor do they possess the power of death.
01:08There is no life nor resurrection.
01:12Those who disbelieved said, “This is nothing but a fabrication he invented, and other people helped him with it.”
01:28They came unjustly and falsely
01:34They said, "These are the legends of the ancients which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and evening."
01:47Say, "It was revealed by Him who knows the unseen in the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful."
02:02They said, "What sort of messenger is this who eats food and walks in the marketplaces? Why was not an angel sent down to him to be a warner with him?"
02:19Or a treasure will be bestowed upon him, or he will have a garden from which he will eat. And the wrongdoers say, "You are only following a man bewitched."
02:40See how they have set up parables for you, and thus they have gone astray and cannot find a way.
02:50Blessed is He who, if He wills, can give you something better than that: gardens beneath which rivers flow, and He can give you palaces.
03:09But they have denied the Hour, and We have prepared for those who deny the Hour a blazing Fire.
03:20If she saw them from afar, they would hear her snarling and groaning.
03:32And if they throw themselves into a narrow place there, they will call a slate there.
03:44Do not leave out just one board today, but leave out many boards.
03:53Say, "Is that better, or the Garden of Eternity which the righteous are promised as their reward and final destination?"
04:08They will have therein whatever they wish, abiding eternally. It is a promise binding upon your Lord.
04:19And on the Day when He gathers them and what they worship besides God, He will say, “Did you mislead these servants of Mine, or did they themselves go astray?”
04:37They said, "Glory be to You! It was not for us to take any protectors besides You."
04:52But their pleasure and that of their forefathers led them to forget the Reminder, and they became a people doomed.
05:07They have lied about what you say, so you have no power to avert it or to help you.
05:18And whoever among you commits injustice, We will make him taste a great punishment.
05:26And We did not send any of the messengers before you except that they ate food and walked in the markets.
05:42And We have made some of you a trial for others. Will you have patience?
05:49And your Lord is All-Seeing
05:55Those who do not expect to meet Us will say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?"
06:09They were arrogant and rebellious to a great extent.
06:19On the Day they see the angels, there will be no good tidings for the criminals, and they will say, "A stone that has been cut off."
06:32And We turned to what they had done of deeds and made it as dust dispersed.
06:45The companions of Paradise on that Day will have a better abode and a more pleasant resting place.
06:56And on the Day when the sky will split open with clouds and the angels will descend in successive ranks
07:07On that Day, the true dominion belongs to the Most Merciful, and it will be a difficult Day for the disbelievers.
07:18And on the Day when the wrongdoer will bite his hands [in regret], he will say, "Oh, would that I had taken a path with the Messenger!"
07:28Oh, woe is me! I wish I had not taken so-and-so as a friend.
07:34He led me astray from the remembrance after it had come to me, and Satan is ever a betrayer to man.
07:47The Messenger said, "O Lord, indeed a people have abandoned this Qur'an."
07:57And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals.
08:05And your Lord is sufficient as a guide and helper.
08:11Those who disbelieved said, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?"
08:20And thus We have strengthened your heart with it, and We have recited it with measured recitation.
08:29They do not bring you any argument except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation.
08:38Those who are herded on their faces into Hell - those are the worst of places and the most astray of paths.
08:52We gave Moses the Scripture and appointed his brother Aaron as his minister.
09:03So We said, “Go to the people who denied Our signs,” and We destroyed them utterly.
09:15And when the people of Noah denied the messengers, We drowned them and made them a sign for mankind, and We prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment.
09:32And 'Ad and Thamud and the people of the well and many generations in between.
09:41And We set forth examples for each of them, and We destroyed each of them utterly.
09:51And they passed by the town which was rained upon with a rain of evil. Did they not see it? Rather, they were not able to resurrect it.
10:09And when they see you, they only mock you, saying, "Is this the one whom God has sent as a messenger?"
10:20He almost led us astray from our gods, had we not been patient with them. And they will know, when they see the punishment, who is further astray.
10:38Have you seen the one who takes his desires as his god? Would you then be a guardian over him?
10:48Or do you think that most of them hear or understand? They are but like cattle; nay, they are even further astray.
11:02Have you not seen how your Lord extends the shadow? If He willed, He could have made it still. Then We made the sun its guide.
11:17Then We seized him with an easy seizure.
11:24It is He who made the night a garment for you, and sleep a rest, and made the day a time for rising.
11:36It is He who sends the winds as heralds of His mercy, and sends down from the sky pure water.
11:54To revive a dead land and give it drink to many of the livestock and people We have created
12:08And We have distributed it among them so that they might remember, but most of the people refuse except to be ungrateful.
12:21If We had willed, We could have sent a warner to every town.
12:28So do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with a great striving.
12:37It is He who merged the two seas, one fresh and sweet and the other salty and bitter, and placed between them a barrier and a forbidding partition.
12:54It is He who created man from water and made him a relative by blood and marriage.
13:05And your Lord is All-Powerful
13:09They worship besides God that which neither benefits nor harms them, and the disbeliever is an ally against his Lord.
13:23We have only sent you as a bearer of good tidings and a warner.
13:30Say, "I do not ask you for any reward for it, except that whoever wishes may take a path to his Lord."
13:45And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and glorify Him with praise, for He is sufficient as Knower of the sins of His servants.
13:58He who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days, then established Himself upon the Throne, the Most Merciful. So ask about Him one who is well-informed.
14:16And when they are told, "Prostrate to the Most Merciful," they say, "And what is the Most Merciful? Should we prostrate to that which you command us?" And it increases their aversion.
14:29Blessed is He who placed constellations in the sky and placed therein a lamp and a shining moon
14:42And it is He who made the night and the day alternate for whoever wishes to remember or be grateful.
14:54And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth humbly, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say, "Peace."
15:07And those who spend the night prostrating and standing before their Lord
15:16And those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell, for its punishment is ever-present."
15:29Her position and status have deteriorated.
15:37And those who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor stingy, but hold a moderate course between the two.
15:49And those who do not invoke any other deity besides Allah, nor kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, nor commit sins
16:05Whoever does that will incur sin.
16:10His punishment will be doubled on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in humiliation.
16:18Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous deeds. For them, God will replace their evil deeds with good. And God is Forgiving and Merciful.
16:38And whoever repents and does righteous deeds, then he has truly repented to God.
16:49And those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by idle talk, they pass by with dignity.
16:58And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind
17:10And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous."
17:28Those will be rewarded with the highest chamber for their patience, and they will be greeted therein with peace and salutations.
17:38They will have a good abode and place of residence therein.
17:46Say, "My Lord would not care for you were it not for your supplication. You have lied, so there will be blame upon you."
