00:00As we look into the middle and latter part of the Memorial Day weekend, some of you are still going
00:04to deal with rain.
00:05We need that rain, but it's at the expense of your outdoor plans in parts of the Southeast and the
00:10Mid-Atlantic.
00:11Soaking rain in the Northeast this weekend will taper off some into Monday as temperatures begin to rebound.
00:17And eventually we will have a round of rain returning to the Pacific Northwest on Monday.
00:21So the Memorial Day forecast, still pretty wet South Central, Southeast, lingering showers in the Northeast.
00:26We will see improvements in Chicago and will be increasingly warm in the Northern Plains.
00:31The wettest weather in the nation, though, East Texas into Louisiana, four to eight inches for some.
00:36We will see an inch or two of drought relief this weekend in Atlanta, which is a good thing.
00:41It's just at the expense of some of those outdoor plans.
00:44Memorial Day is not all wet across the entire Southeast.
00:47Raleigh, you're going to have some dry times between a few lingering showers.
00:51Most of Florida looks pretty good.
00:52Orlando, 91, partly sunny, will be very cool this weekend in the Northeast.
00:57But by the time we get to Monday, Memorial Day itself, temperatures do begin to rise a bit.
01:02Still upper 60s in New York, but 70s return to D.C., Columbus, and Pittsburgh.
