00:00The Yankees have an Austin Wells problem.
00:02Austin Wells is the worst offensive catcher in all of baseball.
00:06He has five RBIs.
00:08It's Memorial Day weekend, basically, and Austin Wells has five RBIs.
00:13For the Yankees, a team that scores a lot of runs,
00:16a team that plays in a very good park for hitters,
00:20Austin Wells has five RBIs.
00:23Three home runs and five RBIs.
00:24He's on the interstate as far as his batting average.
00:27He is a major problem.
00:28The Yankees have an Austin Wells problem.
00:30And you can tell that J.C. Ascara is not the player that Aaron Boone talked him up to be.
00:35I mean, Aaron Boone basically had J.C. Ascara as a top 15 catcher in all of baseball,
00:39which you know is BS, and it's proven to be BS
00:42because Aaron Boone hasn't gone to Ascara.
00:44If he was half as good as Aaron Boone was describing him in spring training,
00:49like he was Mike Piazza,
00:51then the Yankees would have made the move to Ascara.
00:54But Ascara's not a major leaguer, and right now neither is Austin Wells.
00:57He looks like a player that's done mentally.
01:00He can't do anything at the plate.
01:02He had a bad mental mistake behind the plate on that bunt
01:06that cost the Yankees in this game against the Blue Jays.
01:09It feels like Austin Wells' time with the Yankees is rapidly coming to an end.
01:16And it needs to, because the Yankees have an Austin Wells problem.
01:19to the Yankees.
01:19But then the Yankees have been to the Yankees for being on the road.
