00:00I have no issue with the Yankees celebrating a postseason berth.
00:03I have no problem with the champagne and the partying.
00:07And I'm sure some fans will take a little bit of umbrage with it
00:11because this is the Yankees and they have higher standards
00:14and they're in the postseason every year.
00:16And it's about winning the division.
00:17It's about winning a championship.
00:19Save all of that for when you accomplish those things.
00:23I wouldn't, if I was a Yankee player or a Yankee fan,
00:27take what the Yankees do year in and year out for granted.
00:3034 straight years of winning baseball, over 500 record.
00:35They're in the playoffs year in and year out.
00:38Celebrate that.
00:39Don't take it for granted.
00:41It doesn't necessarily have to last forever.
00:43You know, the Yankees might not be good for the,
00:45I mean, for some Yankee fans, you haven't been good your whole life,
00:47so you kind of take it for granted, but it's not a birthright.
00:50And as far as this team that has had a lot of regular season success with Aaron Boone,
00:55so it's not their first rodeo as far as celebrating a postseason berth,
00:58I still think you take the time, especially this year.
01:01Think about all the injuries.
01:03Think about Judge being out for months, Stanton being out since the NBA playoffs,
01:07first round of the NBA playoffs.
01:09Bellinger was on the IL.
01:10Grisham's hurt.
01:11Jazz is hurt.
01:13Freed multiple stints on the IL.
01:15This team has been through a lot this year.
01:17Zero production from third base and catcher.
01:21Yet, here we are in September with a few weeks left in this season,
01:25and the Yankees are once again going to October.
01:27I mean, I know it's the Yankees, but still,
01:29this was a year where they could have folded,
01:32they could have missed the postseason.
01:34That's why I think it's the finest job that Aaron Boone has done as Yankee manager.
01:38So I think it's worth celebrating.
