00:14but this is an opportunity for them to flex their muscles

00:18when they're facing some bad pitching,
00:20they can take advantage of it.
00:21Now, you also have to hit good pitching, for sure,
00:24but they are absolutely facing a staff right now
00:30that is not good at all.
00:32And the Mets pitching staff has been really good.
00:36Like, there have been a lot of winnable games
00:38in this season so far
00:39that the Mets have not been able to take advantage of
00:41because their offense hasn't put up any runs.
00:43And things would look a lot differently
00:44if they were scoring runs.
00:46And you saw it tonight.
00:48Rocking chair, 8-0 win.
00:50You'd have to sweat it out.

00:52even if they gave up a couple runs late in the game,
00:54you still would have been sitting pretty
00:56because you put up 8.
00:57Now, you're not going to put up 8 every single night,
00:59but you have to consistently put up, you know,
01:013, 4, 5 runs
01:03to the point where
01:04you could start putting some Ws up
01:07and you could start winning some series.
01:08And you can end April on a high note
01:12and you can go into May and look at it like,
01:14all right, April's behind us.
