00:01As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
00:08A'abhu billahi min ash-shaytan al-ajim. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
00:13Alhamdulillahi rabbil alameen. As-salatu wa s-salamu ala shuraq al-nabiyyya wal-muslimi wa ala alihi wa sahabihi wa
00:20dma'in.
00:21Muhammad, my dear brothers and sisters of Islam, and an honorable blessing, Mr. John O'Grady, M.P. from Glasgow.
00:34I start with thanking him. During last Ramadan, he came, he kindly attended our achar in the same hall.
00:48And I expressed your fear, your discomfort, and your feeling of being unsafe in the streets of Glasgow.
01:04And he raised his voice in British Parliament.
01:11I am very thankful to you, sir. You did a great job for us.
01:15At least, somebody spoke for us.
01:20I would like to help the government working on Islamophobia,
01:28although they call it hostility against the Muslims.
01:33We introduced the term Islamophobia in 2018, and the current health minister, he was one of the committee members who
01:48defined Islamophobia in the United Kingdom.
01:52And we accepted the definition, however, due to various reasons, government decided to go back, to define it again.
02:05Which is, we don't have any problem, but because at one term was introduced, it would have been better to
02:14continue, or when we accept,
02:17But even if it is defined as hostility against Muslims, or looking like a Muslim, that is again acceptable to
02:26us.
02:26Because, at the end of the day, we wanted a community, we wanted to live together, we wanted to respect
02:37each other.
02:37We, Muslim, is a diverse community, within Glasgow, within Scotland, we are all from various parts of the world.
02:49I have experienced, just three, four days ago, when I was sitting in the Grand Mosque of Holy Prophet, peace
03:02be upon him,
03:03looking at 1.8 million people from across the globe, who are sitting like you are sitting here, they were
03:14breaking fast like you are doing here, but they are dead.
03:19And when I looked after, when I went to Grand Mosque in Makkah, there were 3.8 million people within
03:28the mosque and outside,
03:29up to one mile, up to one mile, and on the streets, being fed exactly the way you are being
03:37presented the food.
03:39This is the diverse community, but how they share the food, that is important.
03:47How they respect each other, and respect every human being, irrespective of their color, race, religion, ethnicity,
03:59where we are, if there are people of no faith, they have the same respect in Islam, and we do
04:08respect them.
04:09Every one of you know about this.
04:14Taking advantage of the honorable and pure presence, I would like to request a few things.
04:25War is bad for everyone. I am a doctor. I know. Even to look after this stranger costs a lot
04:36of money to make it right if it is not functional.
04:39It involves surgeons, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and all other services to make it functional.
04:49Imagine when you throw 200 tons of bombs on a city, heavily populated city.
05:02How many people will die, and how many people will get injured, disabled, or not able to look after the
05:11family later on.
05:13Is it a right thing to do in this advanced so-called developed world? Not at all.
05:20This is not 21st century. We are going back to old age. We want to go back to stone age.
05:29Why? We can live together. We can share our resources.
05:34And this is the example I have given you. It is the population equal to the population of Scotland.
05:41Being fed only on two places. The Holy Makkah and Madinah. They are equal to the population of Scotland.
05:50Every day fed like you are fed. 30 days without any break, without any problem.
05:56Every day from everyone of food and water and day to one to the next, one to the next.
06:02And then they come back to you again. This is the way we share.
06:07And we expect a similar, at least antheism, at least motivation, working towards that.
06:19If that motivation and working together works in Scotland as well, we can build a great society.
06:30This week is a week of Kohayan. We are celebrating in Scotland week of Kohayan.
06:39And this is the only Kohayan we can manage it if we work together, live together.
06:46And the last request I would like to make, Ramasar specially mentioned.
06:52Many of you are testing the visa issues, immigration issues.
06:57Your house may be related because of many reasons.
07:02Can our honourable help me take the message to our Interior Minister.
07:12Please, these people have arrived here.
07:17They have strength for the country.
07:20They are not here to live on any resources.
07:23They are here to help to build the country.
07:28Please help them to settle them better so that they can help the country to improve progress and prosper.
07:38Thank you very much.
07:39Jazakumullah. As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah.
07:42Thank you very much.
