00:02They saw him in the rain, and he looked horrible.
00:06Wait, what happened?
00:09The rescuers couldn't tell what was wrong with him, but he looked like he was really, really struggling.
00:13Do you want to come home with me?
00:15Okay, let's get you out of here.
00:18There he is, my raindrop.
00:20They took him to the vet.
00:24Hello, raindrop.
00:25Look at that.
00:26The vet originally thought he had a hole in the roof of his mouth, so she was syringe-feeding him,
00:32and somehow the syringe accidentally touched the roof of his mouth, and a bone fell out.
00:39And it wasn't his bone, it was maybe a chicken bone we think that he found in the trash,
00:43but that was what the doctors had thought was a hole in the roof of his mouth.
00:47And then once that fell out, we were like, oh my gosh, this cat's going to be okay, he's going
00:52to survive this.
00:55He's been in my foster care for about eight months now.
01:00He was just so happy to be inside, and you could tell he was very grateful.
01:05He trusted me immediately.
01:07He just wanted to cuddle the whole time and get any attention he could.
01:15He's very talkative.
01:19I'm very excited for him to find his forever home, and I'm so happy that we have this chance to
01:24foster him.
01:26The ideal forever home for him would be just somebody that's willing to give him a lot of attention.
01:33He definitely wants to be the king of the household, so a single cat household would be really good for
01:38him.
