00:00Hey, you're so sweet, buddy.
00:03Ow!
00:04He'd definitely been living outside for several years.
00:06He was a feral boy.
00:09I saw him over the next couple of months pretty infrequently.
00:13Hi, baby.
00:15Then he started coming every day.
00:17I love you.
00:18I love you.
00:20I just kept feeding him, and we worked like that, baby steps,
00:25you know, until he was able to fully eat inside the house.
00:31From there, we graduated to a glove
00:34to try to get him acclimated to my hands.
00:38It was a long time of him with the glove,
00:41trying to introduce some pets before trying to trap him.
00:46Keeping cats indoors is the safest option for them,
00:50and my goal was to bring him fully inside.
00:53I'm going to be nice.
00:55He was too smart to be trapped in conventional ways.
01:00I decided to fight the bullet and to trap him with my house.
01:08He didn't love that.
01:12You've got to be kidding me.
01:13He was a handful.
01:15I can't pick him up.
01:16How am I supposed to get you down from there?
01:18He was making it very clear that he wanted to be pet.
01:21But then when I went to actually pet him,
01:25he wouldn't let me anywhere near him.
01:28So that was when the scratcher really came in.
01:31Ever since then, it's been totally a snowball of love.
01:36He has become such a baby.
01:38I find that I wake up with a smile on my face,
01:44and I go to bed with a smile on my face.
01:46I'll see you next time.
