00:07Their family had found the orphaned goslings alone by the pond behind their house.
00:12It was Maya that was the one that was telling us, hey, there's somebody that needs help, we need to
00:16go get these.
00:16They waited a while looking for their parents, but they realized that they were truly alone, so they decided to
00:23take them home.
00:24Maya was immediately won over, and she took her mom duties very seriously and treated them like they were her
00:32own puppies.
00:34She insisted on being by their side at all times.
00:38I guess Maya become their babysitter. She, like, wouldn't let them be outside in the yard alone.
00:44You protecting them? It's okay.
00:48Sometimes they'd get in trouble altogether because, you know, the best moms are supportive of some silliness.
00:55They sneak in and we'll walk outside and they will just be having, like, a full-blown pool party.
01:02And as the babies grew bigger, she taught them some very important life skills.
01:07And, like, kind of when we were in flight school, she would run behind them and get them all fired
01:11up so that they could fly.
01:14See? Animals are smart like that.
01:18Hey, babies!
01:19Now that they're old enough, they, like, fly in and out of our yards.
01:23And so she'll get really, really excited when they fly back in.
01:27And so she'll just kind of get the zoomies and run around.
