00:08First time you've heard of a pet asking for a cone instead of off?

00:14Let's rewind to 13 years ago, back to Taylor's kitten days.
00:18When she got spayed, she was given a plastic cone to wear for a couple days while she recovered.
00:24So far, totally normal stuff.
00:26But when she got healed is when things got, let's say, a little unconventional.
00:33She somehow started putting on the cone all by herself.
00:39Honestly, not sure what's more impressive, that she taught herself to do it or that she actually wants to.
00:46She doesn't wear it all day.
00:47It's more like a special little treat that she gives herself on her own terms.
00:52And her mom will know exactly when cone time is just by the scratching of the cone scraping across the
00:59floor.
01:08Cone time is essentially playtime.
01:11When Taylor runs around and acts silly.
01:22And when she's had enough, she gives her mom this little head shake to signal that it's time to take
01:28it off.
01:28It's super cute.
01:36Other than her cone habit, Taylor's a pretty regular cat.
01:45But for one, I like to imagine that this little tradition is a way for her to relive her kitten
01:51days.
