00:00He was rescued three months ago, not knowing what's going through his head and how he's

00:06feeling.

00:07So he didn't really want to eat in front of me at first or to play.

00:23I just was patient.

00:24I gave him the space that he needed.

00:29When he first came home from the double amputation, it was rough.

00:35Legend was one of 34 cats total that we rescued.

00:52I always foster cats in my bathroom, and that was his safe space.

00:58Every night, he had this cute little pop-up thing.

01:02This is how I socialize Legend every night, and I just have him on my lap, I pet him.

01:08I bring him on the couch with me where he still felt like he was a little secure.

01:12After a month, he finally started coming out on his own.

02:41I'm really passionate about special needs cats and they really deserve a chance to live their best life.

02:58I convinced my husband on Christmas, we decided he's here to stay.

03:20I've been fostering a kitten and he's been playing with him.

03:24He absolutely loves the foster kittens.

03:29Being able to see that full transition from truly traumatized to just living his best life,
