00:00Kenneth Walker has a listed season-long yardage prop at 925.5, Joe.
00:07That's low.
00:09If he's healthy, it's way low, right?
00:12I mean, he's a 1,000-yard rusher in my eyes if he's healthy.
00:15Now, health dictates these season-long props in just a mind-numbing way at times.
00:23But if he is healthy, if he is good to go, I agree with you.
00:28That number looks light.
00:30It's been a little bit, though, since we've seen Kansas City.
00:34Some of it is, you know, they don't love their guys.
00:38Some of it is that they look for, they kind of split the work up, Joe.
00:45But they haven't had a 1,000-yard runner in the Patrick Mahomes era.
00:50Last time was Kareem Hunt in the Alex Smith season that preceded Mahomes taking over.
00:57So, I think it'll be very interesting to see.
01:00And, look, the odds all tell us Mahomes will start week number one.
01:04It'll be interesting, Joe, if, let's just say he's 95%, right?
01:08Are they walker, walker, walker, walker?
01:11You know, are they run heavy?
01:13That wouldn't surprise me at all, right?
01:15No.
01:15I don't think Patrick Mahomes' overs are incredibly tempting when, you know,
01:21when you consider coming off the injury plus the acquisition of Kenneth Walker.
01:28Right.
01:29Here's the thing for the quarterback position, right?
01:31You have Pat Mahomes, and you're like, okay, he's 100% healthy with the knee.
01:36The knee is stable.
01:37Everything's fine.
01:38How does Pat Mahomes handle that mentally with pushing off, being able to, you know,
01:44believe in the knee that it's 100%?
01:47That's another cause that we don't know.
01:50It could be a mental block.
01:51You know, it might take a game or two until he feels 100% healthy.
01:55And that's where you rely on the offensive line, and you rely on the new addition of Kenneth Walker.
02:01I believe with you that Kenneth Walker could be a 1,200-yard rusher.
02:05He could be like a Jonathan Taylor, B. John Robinson type of player, no doubt.
02:11Again, he could take games over.
02:12He's built like that, and we saw that in his days at college at Michigan State.
02:17Seattle chose to split time with him with Zach Charbonnet, and they had a dynamic one-two punch.
02:23Now, Kansas City has gotten by with Isaiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt,
02:27but now you have a legitimate workhorse to take over the rushing attack,
02:31especially in the fourth quarter.
02:33Rely on the guy.
02:35That's what it comes down to.
02:37We'll see how they play it, Kevin.
02:39But at the end of the day, if I had a bet, again, we're looking big picture,
02:42I would take a shot on Kansas City to potentially win a championship,
02:46but I would take a shot on Kenneth Walker rushing numbers
02:49and under Pat Mahomes passing numbers.
02:52Yeah, I am really interested to see how they look to attack offensively as a whole
03:01because you have Kelsey for another season.
03:04It doesn't look like Rasheed Rice is going to be suspended.
03:07Will Xavier Worthy live up to that round one billing?
03:12Xavier Worthy had himself a fine enough rookie season when you consider it finished
03:21with a monster, albeit in garbage time, Super Bowl performance.
03:25Since a pretty good postseason as it was, I think this Kansas City offense...
03:33Here's the other element to this, and I'm almost surprised I haven't mentioned this.
03:36Pat Mahomes hasn't been all that in the last few years.
03:40Like, is Pat Mahomes going to come off of an ACL and go back to the gunslinger?
03:44That might be unlikely, fair to say.
