00:00I'd like to state that no braineese or insects were harmed in the making of this program,
00:03and that none of the training you're about to see be attempted unless under expert supervision.
00:09Eight braineese, one challenge.
00:11To use complex mass of 100 billion cells we call Brain for chance to win Brain Jutsu Black Brain Belt.
00:19This is Brain Jutsu.
00:27Born in Lancashire, trained in Japan, with mind as sharp as samurai sword,
00:33he is brain master, he is the sensei.
00:37Konnichiwa, and welcome to Brain Jutsu.
00:42Mental training specially designed to boost brain power and focus.
00:47My trainees, or braineese, have been following a basic program of training in the comfort of their own home.
00:53A brain-boosting routine of exercise, sleep, and enough fruit and veg to stock a greengrocer's.
01:02I've done a lot of training, so I feel very confident, and I think I'm going to be everyone.
01:06I'm not really nervous, I'm more totally terrified.
01:10I'm really confident because I used to do karate, and now I'm going to win that black belt, come on!
01:14Now my braineese must put their training into practice.
01:18By testing a part of their brain we use every day.
01:21Level 1.
01:22You're no fault!
01:24Take a look at my very cluttered garage.
01:28Now, try to find the little rubber duck.
01:30Spotted, eh?
01:32Congratulations!
01:33You've just used your occipital lobes.
01:36This area, the seeing part of our brain, allows us to recognise and separate images from each other.
01:43The seven braineese, who use their occipital lobes the best, will be allowed to enter my brain jitsu dojo, where
01:49their training will continue.
01:51The one who fails will be left outside.
01:54Oh!
01:55Feel the burn.
01:57Enter the dojo!
02:01Braineese must first answer four questions by counting the different faces on the board in front of them.
02:07Get the questions right, and they'll be left with a four-digit code, which they must then use to unlock
02:12a piece of brain and secure their place in the dojo.
02:17But with only seven pieces of brain and eight braineese, one of either Florence, Jamal, Catherine, Timothy, Ella, Jack, Francesca,
02:26or Jag Raj, will be left outside and eliminated.
02:30The atmosphere in the noodle bar is hotter than a spicy tuna hand roll, as the four questions are revealed.
02:36How many blue faces have ears?
02:43How many red faces have one ear?
02:53How many smiley faces have freckles?
03:06How many red smiley faces are there?
03:12The code our braineese are looking for is 1159.
03:16The order in which they unlock their piece of brain will decide the order our braineese take part in the
03:21levels to come.
03:22The braineese who does not complete this challenge will be eliminated.
03:27Jack is first up, with Francesca, Catherine, and Jamal close behind him.
03:32But have they got the right code?
03:35No, they have not.
03:37Jack is on his way back to the noodle bar, while Jag Raj is about to have his first crack
03:41at the brain.
03:46Don't forget, the code our braineese are looking for is 1159,
03:50as there is one blue face that has ears, one red face with one ear, five smiley faces with freckles,
03:57and nine red smiley faces.
04:00So, Jack's cracked it first, with Timothy falling close behind.
04:09Catherine, Florence, Florence, and Francesca secure their place in the dojo.
04:19Leaving Jamal, Ella, and Jag Raj to battle it out for those two final pieces of brain.
04:27Don't be distracted, Ella.
04:29Concentrate on finding the right answers.
04:31Not on how well Jamal is doing.
04:33Hey, and stay calm.
04:36That correct code again is 1159, and Jamal's got it right.
04:42But Ella is close to tears at the realisation there's only one piece left.
04:48Both braineese have got an answer at the same time, but Jag Raj gets there first.
04:53Has Ella's brain jitsu journey ended so soon?
04:58Jag Raj is wrong, and Ella grabs her last chance with both hands, and it pays off.
05:10Jag Raj is gutted.
05:12He's out, and Ella's in.
05:14So, as Seven enters the dojo, for a chance to survive six more gruelling levels of brain training,
05:20for Jag Raj, the dream of the black brain belt has ended before it even started.
05:26I feel really, like, upset because I'm the first one to, like, be eliminated of the whole competition.
05:33I think Francesca can win the black belt because she's got 100% confidence.
05:39So, with six levels to go, only Jack, Timothy, Catherine, Florence, Francesca, Jamal, and Ella
05:45have achieved the first of their coloured brain belts.
05:49When I came second, and I realised, I felt really relieved.
05:53It's a really good feeling once you know you've actually done it.
05:56Well, it was really dramatic. I mean, there was so much pressure.
05:59Yeah. Tim was only a few minutes, maybe, behind me, so I'd say he's probably going to be a bit
06:06of competition.
06:09Rain T2!
06:11In this next level of training, things are going to get really hard.
06:16Level 2. Orange Vault!
06:20We do things every day without even thinking about it, like using the remote control for the telly.
06:26But try turning up the volume with the hand that you don't normally use.
06:31Go on, a lot more harder, isn't it?
06:33If you manage to do that, you're using part of your brain that deals with problem solving, the frontal lobes.
06:39And that's what Level 2 is all about.
06:43Taking something you normally do without thinking and doing it differently.
06:48Work it!
06:49To prepare them for using their frontal lobes in the next challenge, my brainees are going to need some training.
06:55Room of Mental Nourishment
06:58The Room of Mental Nourishment is where our young hopefuls will train their brains to help them progress to the
07:04next levels of the dojo.
07:05The more seriously our brainees take the training, they're better prepared they'll be for the challenges that lie ahead.
07:12And in Level 2, that challenge is all about getting their brains to think in a new way.
07:17Brain training. Write the name of the braineer you think will win the black belt.
07:21Write backwards using the hand you don't normally write with.
07:24Could you write yourself?
07:25Well, if you want to be shown as completely immodest, sure you can.
07:31Can you write an abbreviation of their name?
07:33Because if I was to write you, can I put Fran?
07:35No, no, I hate Fran.
07:36Okay, well not Fran, but you know what I...
07:38A mirror, someone get a mirror.
07:39Red balls of sushi?
07:40There seems to be some sort of rivalry between Francesca and Ella.
07:47So, our braineers are writing backwards with the wrong hand.
07:50This will help them think in a new way, by getting them to use their frontal lobes.
07:55Feisty Francesca has the right idea.
07:57For those who are struggling, here's a training tip.
08:00Picture the word in front of you before you write it.
08:03Think about each individual letter.
08:05Is that it?
08:06Yeah, this guy's doing a couple of bloody jobs.
08:08Tim seems to be practising his doodling, not his writing.
08:11I don't know if I could draw as well with my left hand, and I thought I might as well
08:15give
08:15it a try, and it turns out I'm quite good at it.
08:17If you want to work your frontal lobes at home by writing backwards, just like Jamal is
08:22right now, it'll help you improve your all-round focus.
08:25Jack got voted the most.
08:26I think it's because he's got a short name.
08:28But Tim's got a shorter name.
08:30Yeah, but Timothy's his full name.
08:32Anyway, yeah, but also Jack's quite confident.
08:35Can I get the black belt?
08:37No, no, you will. It's all going to be me.
08:38Do you think it might be either Jack or Ella?
08:41I think Ella really wants to win.
08:43She's, like, got that kind of drive.
08:46Is that a good thing?
08:48So why I was killed to get that one, like, somebody.
08:52Oh, come on.
08:53Will Jack the lad's confidence see him take first place two challenges in a row?
08:58Will artistic Timothy's lack of training lead to elimination?
09:03And will Faisa Francesca and ambitious Ella come to blows?
09:07There's only one way to find out.
09:10It's time for our brainies to really put their training to the test.
09:13Guardian of the Dojo and Task Adjudicator the Sheehan will now demonstrate the level two challenge.
09:19Spell backwards. Step forward.
09:22To stand chance of gaining orange belt, seven brainies must now think in reverse.
09:27Sheehan will show them picture.
09:30They have to say what is.
09:31That is cut.
09:33Then they spell word backwards.
09:35T-A-C.
09:39Get right and our brainies can step forward.
09:42Get wrong and they stay put.
09:44Brainies can choose length of word they want to spell backwards.
09:48Longer word.
09:49More time they get to answer.
09:50Three seconds for three letter word.
09:53Up to six seconds for six letters.
09:56More letters, more steps towards destination.
09:59There is slight advantage to going first in challenge.
10:02But order brainies take part is order they completed level one.
10:06Whoever not finished will be eliminated from the Dojo.
10:10My brainy tip here is to imagine the whole word
10:13and then break it down into groups of letters.
10:17Whoop, whoop, work those frontal lobes.
10:24Four.
10:27Pear.
10:28R-A-E-P.
10:31You do get something for a pear in this game, Jack the Lad.
10:34Four steps towards the finishing gong.
10:36Four.
10:38Four letters for artistic Timothy.
10:41Fire.
10:42E-R-E-F.
10:44Oh, it's wrong.
10:46Drawing instead of training just costs you four steps towards your orange belt, Tim.
10:51Four.
10:53Door.
10:54R-O-O-D.
10:57Catherine, sail through.
11:00Six.
11:02Spring.
11:03Florence will have a real spring in her step if she gets six.
11:06G-N-I-R-S.
11:09Oh dear, Florence was quiet in the training and the gamble hasn't worked for her.
11:14Five.
11:17Bread.
11:18D-A-E-R-B.
11:22Fires to Francesca gets a confident five.
11:26Four.
11:29Shoe.
11:30E-O-H-S.
11:34It's a shoe-in for Jamal.
11:35Four steps.
11:38Four.
11:40Ring.
11:41G-N-I-R.
11:45So, Ambitious Ella finishes the first round as step behind rival Feisty Francesca.
11:51Round two sees a full house of correct answers for her brainies, leaving Jack the Lad in poor position to
11:57take the first orange brain belt.
12:00Four.
12:02Bell.
12:04Bell.
12:04L-L-E-B.
12:08It's Ching Ching Jackpot for Jack the Lad as he takes first place once again.
12:13A whole run of correct answers means Catherine is second to reach the podium.
12:17Francesca takes third and Jamal comes in a respectable fourth.
12:21That just leaves Ambitious Ella, Artistic Timothy and Florence to battle it out for the last two orange brain belts.
12:29Three.
12:35All right, Ambitious Ella is through.
12:41Florence's future in the dojo could depend on Artistic Timothy's next answer.
12:46Four.
12:47He's gone for the safe four.
12:50The pressure is intense.
12:52Tent.
12:53T-N-E-T.
12:56He's got it.
12:58So, Timothy's in and Florence is out.
13:00She must hand over her yellow belt to the Sheehan and leave the dojo.
13:09Walk of eternal regret.
13:12I do feel disappointed because I wanted to get to the third round.
13:16I think it went wrong because I was rushing the first word I took.
13:20But I got nervous and shaky and I forgot to visualise the word before I spelt it.
13:27I think Jack's going to win it because he's really confident.
13:30So, with five levels to go, only Jack, Timothy, Catherine, Francesca, Jamal and Ella have gained their orange brain belts.
13:39It was excellent.
13:40I came first again, which gave me confidence.
13:43But I was quite nervous to begin with because usually I'm not very good at spelling.
13:46So, I just chose the four-letter words, but now I'm really, really good.
13:51Brain T-T.
13:54Brainy.
13:55Not so brainy.
13:58Who's the clever clogs and whose brain needs a lot more training?
14:02First up, astronauts.
14:03This exclusive group is made up by some of the brightest bods on Earth.
14:07In 1969, astronaut Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon uttering the immortal words,
14:13One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.
14:16I wonder if that was off the top of his head.
14:18Here's another group.
14:19Now, not McFly.
14:20Oi, get your hair cut.
14:22These lot, the Sahara Marathon Runners.
14:25These balmy boys and babes think nothing of legging it four and a half thousand miles across the Sahara Desert
14:31in temperatures well over a hundred degrees.
14:34Phew!
14:35And it takes these jokers a hundred days to reach the finish line.
14:38If they ever get there, I'm tired just thinking about it.
14:42Brainy astronauts.
14:43Not so brainy Sahara runners.
14:48Brain Jitsu.
14:51Pressure in Brain Jitsu Dojo Rising.
14:54Now, your six young hopeful remain to compete on the watchful eye of Shihan.
15:00Artistic Timothy, who scraped through last round after drawing and training.
15:05Katherine.
15:06My tactic was just to play it safe and it worked.
15:10Jamal.
15:11Flown under radar so far, but could be one to watch.
15:14Jack the Ladd, who take pole position both time.
15:17I'm going to get that black belt.
15:20Feisty Francesca, who not afraid to speak mind.
15:24And rival, ambitious Ella.
15:26I didn't really mind as much, I think, if I went out on the second round, which kind of made
15:30me calm me down, because at least I got in.
15:33Challenge is about to get even tougher.
15:35Only two brainy will make final test.
15:37Table of supreme forecast.
15:39Where must move ball with power of mind for chance to win Brain Jitsu Black Brain Belt.
15:45It's time for...
15:47Level three.
15:49Who is that?
15:50Now, we all like to chat, but did you know that using words to communicate is one of the main
15:56reasons why our brains have grown so incredibly powerful?
16:00And that having a conversation exercises both halves of the brain.
16:05Now, if all that's doing your head in, allow me to explain.
16:09Imagine you're the trumpet player in an orchestra.
16:14Your main focus is on your own notes, but the conductor, well, he has to listen for everyone's notes.
16:21It's the same with the brain.
16:23There's the left half, which deals with the details, and there's the right half, which looks at the overall picture.
16:29This next level of training strengthens my brainy's focus by working one half of their brain under pressure.
16:37Hey, pump it up!
16:39Room of mental nourishment.
16:45It's our second visit to the room of mental nourishment.
16:48Brainy's have a choice as to whether they take part or not, but any extra training they do will help
16:54them in the next challenge.
16:56For level three, it's communication.
16:59Brain training.
17:00Get into two groups.
17:02One brainy describes how the blocks fit together.
17:04The other group fits them together.
17:06OK.
17:07Well, it seems simple enough, so don't say that you're tempting fate.
17:11Those two can't seem to agree about anything.
17:13Can you hear us?
17:14Take a blue square block.
17:16It's got, like, four, it's got four square.
17:19We've got it, we've got it.
17:20So, our brainy's are in two groups.
17:22The girls should use the right side of their brains to describe clearly how to build the blocks.
17:27Can you see us?
17:28The boys should use the left side of their brains to concentrate on interpreting those instructions and make the same
17:33block.
17:34Two long blocks made out of four things, but they're all together.
17:39So, a long blue.
17:41Random and a long blue.
17:42Oh, feisty Francesca.
17:44Clearly not happy that Ella cut her off there.
17:46Now, have you got a thing that looks like a house?
17:48It's like a pentagon.
17:49We've got a top thing.
17:50Jamal is trying to keep quiet and listen, but Jack the lad just won't stop asking questions.
17:56It's the flat bit supposed to face us.
17:59It looks like a house on a team.
18:01Oi, brainy's, quieten down.
18:03The key to this training is to talk one at a time and listen to each other.
18:07You must work one team after all.
18:09You might be on the other side of the fence in the next challenge.
18:13No, no, it goes into a...
18:14Aye, time for a training tip.
18:16Use short, clear instructions.
18:18Imagine yourself hearing them.
18:20Right, well, for the moment, you should have a blue, quite high, square.
18:25Catherine is being very clear with her instructions.
18:28On top of that, there is a yellow double block.
18:32Yeah, OK.
18:33Have you got any single blocks that are doing...
18:35And amazingly, rivals Ella and Francesca are taking turns to talk.
18:40OK, you need two of them and put them beside the yellow blocks.
18:44But...
18:46Well done.
18:47Well, Jack the lad still isn't listening.
18:49In fact, he's not taking the training very seriously at all.
18:53They've just broken it.
18:56Girls aren't very good at giving instructions.
18:59You know why?
19:00Because they're girls.
19:02Two!
19:03Oh!
19:05So, Jamal at least tried to listen in the training
19:09and clear communicator Catherine came out on top of the girls.
19:12Jack the lad didn't take the training seriously
19:15and ambitious Ella did a lot of shouting.
19:18But who'll make it to the next level of the dojo?
19:21Time to find out as our six now put the communication training to the test.
19:32This level tests how well our brainies can communicate.
19:35So, our six need to be in teams of two.
19:38The chopsticks will decide the pairs.
19:44So, there's Tim and Francesca, Ella and Jack, and Catherine and Jamal,
19:48which means one talker and one listener per team.
19:52But after all the boy-girl rivalry, will they work well as a team?
19:56Jack and Ella certainly don't look too pleased.
19:58As quickly as possible, teams must whack open six lanterns
20:03containing numbers that go together to form some.
20:06Pairs first need to decide who is Guider, who is Whacker.
20:12Whackers will be blindfolded and will be relying on Guider to locate lanterns.
20:17When all six are opened, brainies stop clock by shouting,
20:22Brinjitsu!
20:23Quicker they whack lanterns, more time they have to pick up numbers and work out some.
20:28When brainies are happy with answer, hit gong!
20:32First two teams to provide correct answer get green belts and advance to next level.
20:38One brainy from losing team will be eliminated.
20:41The key to success here is for the Guider to use the right side of their brain
20:46to follow their teammates' progress and give them clear instructions.
20:51For their partner, it's vital they use the left side of their brain
20:55to focus on these instructions and nothing else.
21:00Go.
21:01Two steps forward.
21:02So, artistic Tim and feisty Francesca are first to test their communication training.
21:08Whack.
21:10Feisty Francesca, certainly living up to her name,
21:13her spongy bat has a real power behind it.
21:17Up.
21:17Whack.
21:19Backwards.
21:20Three steps.
21:23Whack.
21:24Turn around.
21:25Tim is remembering his training well.
21:27He's using the right side of his brain effectively by giving short, clear instructions.
21:32Whack.
21:34Brain jitsu.
21:36One final whack and they're done, and they have a good time.
21:3956 seconds.
21:41Now, ambitious Ella and Jack, the lad.
21:44Two steps forward.
21:46Whack.
21:48Whack, Jack.
21:49These two look less than thrilled to be paired up.
21:51Ella shouted a lot in the training, and Jack didn't take it very seriously.
21:55Will it affect their performance?
21:57Whack.
21:59Whack.
22:00Whack, Jack.
22:01Whack.
22:02This boy is hitting faster than a sumo on reinforced roller skates.
22:05He doesn't seem very controlled, and he's using his brawn a lot more than the left side of his brain.
22:11Whack.
22:12Whoops.
22:13Step to the left.
22:14And again, don't panic, Jack.
22:17Brain jitsu.
22:19They're finished with a very respectable time of one minute and five seconds.
22:23Now for Catherine and Jamal.
22:26Two small steps forward.
22:28Whack.
22:29These two dives straight in, faster than a Japanese Olympic swimmer.
22:32Clear Catherine was exactly that in their training.
22:35Her instructions are also good here.
22:40OK, turn around.
22:42One to the right.
22:45Oh, sorry, one to the left.
22:47First problem here.
22:48Step forward.
22:49Whack.
22:50Clear Catherine getting mixed up there, and it's cost them valuable time.
22:54Brain jitsu.
22:56A time for one minute thirty-five for Catherine and Jamal,
22:59which means that Tim and Francesca are first to collect their numbers.
23:04Here's what our brainies are looking for.
23:06Can you work out the answer in your head?
23:17All teams are straight back with their numbers,
23:19but it's Catherine and Jamal who finish their sum milliseconds before Tim and Francesca.
23:25But do the answers add up?
23:26Five plus ten equals fifteen.
23:28Fifteen divided by three equals five.
23:30Elra and Jack are in last place.
23:32And as the other two teams have got the correct answer,
23:34they must go face to face in the...
23:38Stare off.
23:42Both brainies must use their training to focus their minds on fighting the urge to blink.
23:47There's only one green belt up for grabs.
23:50So who'll blink first and be eliminated?
23:56Blink in Nora.
23:58Jack the lad has blinked and it's all over.
24:00Elra's in and Jack's out.
24:02And the boys can't believe it.
24:06Walk of eternal regret.
24:10I think we did well as a team, but at the end, we just weren't quick enough.
24:15I feel gutted to be gone in the third round.
24:19I really wish I could have gone further.
24:22So with four levels left, it's green brain belts for Timothy, Catherine, Francesca, Jamal and Ella.
24:30In the training, I learnt that we had to say things slowly and clearly,
24:35which I think really helped me in the task.
24:37I'm feeling very elevated and I feel a bit sorry for Jack, but the show must go on.
24:52This fourth level requires our brainies to master a primitive part of the brain called the amygdala,
24:59the area that responds to threat.
25:06Remember the last time you felt afraid or panicky?
25:09Maybe it was on a dark night.
25:11Well, that feeling was triggered by the old amygdala.
25:15Stress can make you lose focus.
25:18Fact.
25:19Which is why my brainies must train to keep their emotions under control.
25:30We're back in the room of mental nourishment, and it's time for our five remaining green belt holders to overcome
25:35their fear.
25:42Brain training.
25:43Form a circle.
25:44Pass the disgusting drink around a circle.
25:47Only passing it on when you've said a different word relating to the last one someone says.
25:51Tell me that's apple juice.
25:53No, I don't think so.
25:55After one minute, the brainy holding the drink has to drink it.
25:58Ew!
25:59Is that cod liver oil?
26:01Yes, it is cod liver oil.
26:03Yummy.
26:04I'm starting.
26:05I'm starting.
26:06Wheat.
26:08Yeast.
26:09Flour.
26:11Water.
26:13Duck.
26:15Chinese food.
26:17Sweet and sour chicken.
26:22Ducks.
26:23Or Catherine's fear has made her repeat Jamal's word.
26:26Yeah, no, same thing, Catherine.
26:29Same thing, come on.
26:30Drink, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink.
26:33These two girls are very bossy.
26:34The rules don't say you drink if you get it wrong.
26:37Shout out, don't.
26:40Hurry up, hurry up.
26:42It just tastes like oily water.
26:44It didn't move.
26:45What?
26:47I just drunk, yeah!
26:49Tim's paid the price for Catherine following Francesca and Ella's rules
26:52because the clock was still ticking
26:53and now the gong means a minute's up.
26:56Tim has to drink too.
27:00I don't know. Training tip time.
27:03Welcome the drink as your friend.
27:07It holds the answer.
27:10Hey, friend, shall we have a sleepover next Saturday?
27:12That's not quite what the tip meant, Ella.
27:14Ella, try to imagine the drink as something nice like a chocolate milkshake
27:19and you'll stay calm.
27:20If you're afraid of the drink, it'll cloud your focus.
27:25Eggs.
27:28Chickens.
27:30Birds.
27:32If you practise this technique at home,
27:34it will allow you to keep your emotions under control,
27:37stop you from panicking
27:38and help you focus better in situations like exams.
27:45Oh, that's another minute up and Jamal has to drink.
27:48Ready, one, two, three, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink.
27:53Make sure you actually need me to drink it.
27:56It's oily.
27:56She didn't drink it.
28:00I think the tip is actually quite good
28:02but also it's kind of it's easier said than done.
28:06Yeah.
28:06I'm not especially nervous about the next task
28:09because I was quite nervous of drinking the cod liver oil.
28:12Clear Catherine conquered her fear of the drink,
28:14but can she tame her amygdala for the next task?
28:17And will ambitious Ella be able to fight her fears
28:20and not just talk about it?
28:22There's only one way to find out,
28:24as our five must now put their brain training to the test.
28:30Creepy crawly word grab.
28:33This level will test of mind over matter for brainies
28:36and will push them to really overcome their fear.
28:39Underneath the creepy crawlies
28:41lie an assortment of letters worth different points.
28:44Brainies have just one minute to plunge hands into tank
28:47and pick out up to seven letters each.
28:50They then have a further minute to make higher scoring words they can.
28:56To do well, my brainies must block out the signals
29:00coming from their amygdala
29:01and ignore the creepy crawlies.
29:03The quicker they combat their fear,
29:05the more time they'll have to pick out the high scoring letters.
29:10Underneath the pile of mealworms
29:12are an extra five golden letters.
29:14If our brainies manage to use one in their word,
29:16they'll double their score.
29:25Feisty Francesca isn't looking so feisty
29:28as she gingerly puts her hand in the mealworms.
29:30Oh, but it's like poodles.
29:32Ambitious Ella's amygdalas work in overtime.
29:35She hasn't put her hand in at all yet.
29:39Artistic Timothy, Jamal and Claire Catherine
29:41were all pretty good in the training
29:43and here all three seem focused on the challenge,
29:46not the creepy crawlies.
29:49Ella said that overcoming your fears was easier said than done
29:53and that certainly seems to be true in her case.
29:55She's making her right fuss.
30:02The gong means that their minute is up
30:04and Ella can't believe the time has gone so soon.
30:07Now our brainies have another minute
30:09to make the longest word they can
30:11out of the letters they've collected.
30:20See if you can make a word
30:22from the anagram on the screen now.
30:30So, how have our green belt holders fared?
30:35Handy.
30:36Those 12 points will come in very handy
30:38for seeing you through to the next round, Timothy.
30:40Well done.
30:41Hope.
30:42Eight points for Catherine.
30:44Let's hope it gets her to level five.
30:49Rat.
30:50A golden letter means six points for Francesca,
30:53but will rat be enough?
30:56Pay.
30:57Jamal's eight points puts pay
30:58to any chance of his elimination,
31:00so Francesca's blue belt
31:02rests on rival Ella's score.
31:06Ego.
31:07These two girls' egos have been bristling
31:09since they entered the dojo.
31:11You can see ambitious Ella
31:12is relieved to have got any word at all.
31:14But sadly,
31:15with only four points against six,
31:17Francesca's in
31:18and Ella is out.
31:19She's gutted,
31:21but her rival couldn't be happier.
31:29Walk of eternal regret.
31:33That last task went wrong because I pulled out too many of the same letters
31:37and I was a bit afraid of all the bugs.
31:41I think Timothy's going to win brain jitsu
31:43because he's quite confident.
31:45So, with only three levels to go,
31:47with only three levels to go,
31:48Catherine,
31:49Francesca
31:49and Jamal
31:50proudly wear their blue brain belts.
31:53The training helped soothe my nerves
31:54because we knew that
31:56this wasn't going to be much worse than cod liver oil.
31:58I just scrape past
31:59by the skin of my teeth.
32:02Brain jitsu.
32:05Brainy.
32:06Not so brainy.
32:09Who's the clever clogs
32:10and whose brain needs a lot more training?
32:13Bridges.
32:13Aren't they brilliant?
32:14Well,
32:15he thought so.
32:16Isambard Kingdom Brunel,
32:17Britain's most famous engineer
32:18and builder of some of the greatest bridges,
32:20tunnels and ships
32:21in the world.
32:22Including this,
32:23the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol,
32:25which spans over 700 feet.
32:27Span-tastic.
32:28Now,
32:29this bridge,
32:30the Millennium Bridge,
32:30opened in 2000
32:31and cost over 18 million smackaroos.
32:34Problem was that people started complaining
32:36it was unstable.
32:37Some even felt seasick,
32:39which led to it being
32:40re-christened
32:40the Wobbly Bridge.
32:41It all turned out okay
32:43because the designers went and fixed it.
32:45Don't you just love a happy ending?
32:47Brainy.
32:47Brunel.
32:48Not so brainy.
32:49Millennium Bridge.
32:52Brain jitsu.
32:56Tension in brain jitsu dojo mounting.
32:59Now,
32:59just four young hopeful remain
33:01to compete under watchful eye of Shihan.
33:05Clear Catherine,
33:06who excel in communication training.
33:09Artistic Tim,
33:10who first placed last round.
33:12Yeah,
33:12I'm feeling really relieved.
33:13It wasn't me that went out.
33:15Jamal,
33:16one cool customer,
33:17who's steadily making his way
33:19towards Black Belt.
33:20And feisty Francesca.
33:22If it wasn't that I got a golden letter,
33:23I'd be out right now.
33:25Only two brainy will make final test.
33:28Table of Supreme Forecasts.
33:30Where?
33:30Must move ball with power of mind.
33:33Brain jitsu Black Brain Belt
33:34is within grasp.
33:36Here's the time for...
33:37Level 5.
33:39Red Bolt!
33:41Now,
33:42if you've just taken up
33:44competitive bog snorkelling,
33:46then you might be interested to know
33:47that your new hobby
33:48is doing wonders
33:49for the old grey matter.
33:51Exercising both
33:52the thinking part of the brain,
33:54the cerebrum,
33:55and the doing part,
33:57the cerebellum.
33:58You see,
33:59doing new things
34:00increases the flow of blood
34:01into your head,
34:02which keeps your brain cells
34:04topped up with the oxygen
34:05they need
34:06to perform at their best.
34:08So,
34:08in Level 5,
34:10my brainy's
34:10are going to be challenged
34:11to learn new skills.
34:13Now,
34:14you can speed up
34:15how quickly
34:16the brain takes in new stuff.
34:18And this is what our brainy's
34:20are going to train for now.
34:22Room of Mental Nourishment
34:26It's our brainy's
34:27fourth visit
34:28to the room
34:28of Mental Nourishment.
34:29And for this brain training exercise,
34:31they're going to be
34:32really working their brains
34:33by learning something new.
34:38Brain training.
34:39Flick and catch
34:40as many drinks coasters
34:42as you can.
34:43Like this one.
34:45Ha ha!
34:46You've got to do it.
34:46OK,
34:47wait,
34:47wait,
34:47wait,
34:47ah!
34:49Oh,
34:49I'm really bad at this.
34:50I don't think any of us
34:51can do it.
34:52It's great.
34:53You're right,
34:53Tim.
34:53No one's showing
34:54any real coaster-catching talent,
34:56but this task
34:57needs to be hard
34:58so the thinking part
34:59of your brain
34:59and the doing part
35:00of your brain
35:01are equally pushed.
35:03Oh, my God!
35:04No, no!
35:04We can't even do it with one.
35:06How are we supposed
35:06to be doing it with two?
35:08It's very frustrating.
35:10Wait,
35:11we need a tip.
35:13Tip.
35:15Approach this positively.
35:17Laugh out loud
35:17for 30 seconds.
35:19That is officially
35:20the weirdest tip
35:21I've ever heard.
35:22Ha ha ha!
35:23That's creepy.
35:25Weird it may be,
35:26Francesca,
35:26but laughing
35:27and staying positive
35:28really can help
35:29when you're learning
35:30a new skill.
35:31If you don't get frustrated
35:32and tell yourself
35:33you can do it,
35:34you're much more likely
35:35to be successful.
35:37So,
35:38our brainies
35:38have had a go
35:39at the giggles,
35:39but will it help them
35:40with their new-fangled
35:42flipping skill?
35:43It seems to have worked
35:44for artistic Timothy.
35:47And Jamal's doing well,
35:49too.
35:50spicy Francesca's doing okay,
35:52but clear Catherine
35:53just can't seem to get it.
35:55I think you can do it
35:56always.
35:59Yes!
36:01Finally,
36:02she gets one.
36:03The tip was to think
36:04positive thoughts
36:05and try and laugh out loud
36:06for 30 seconds.
36:07I don't think it was
36:09at all useful
36:09for flipping coasters.
36:12So,
36:13the boys both did well
36:14with their new skill,
36:15but can they take
36:16their training with them
36:17into the dojo?
36:18Catherine really struggled
36:20with this physical task.
36:21Will she fare better
36:22in the challenge?
36:23Only time will tell,
36:25as our four
36:26must now put their training
36:27to the test
36:28to learn a new skill
36:29for their red brain belt.
36:34Chop, chop,
36:35don't drop!
36:37To win the red brain belt,
36:39brainies must remain
36:40mentally confident
36:41as they learn
36:42new physical skill.
36:44Remaining four
36:45must keep ball
36:46in airflow
36:46and guide it
36:47along obstacle course,
36:49through hoops
36:50and into basket.
36:51It is race against clock,
36:53but brainies
36:54must remain confident.
36:55There is five-second penalty
36:57every time ball drops.
36:59Brainy with slowest time
37:00will be eliminated.
37:02The tip for my brainies
37:04in this next task
37:05is to
37:06remain calm
37:07and think positive thoughts.
37:10Giving in to frustration
37:11will only lessen
37:12their focus
37:13and slow them up.
37:15The atmosphere
37:16in the dojo
37:16is hotter
37:17than sweet chili sauce
37:18as our four remaining
37:20brainies
37:20start the course.
37:22They must achieve
37:23mental focus
37:24to master
37:24this new physical skill.
37:26Artistic Timothy
37:27is first up.
37:28He did well
37:29in the training.
37:30Will he be able
37:30to master his mind
37:31to control his body
37:33under pressure?
37:38This is sensational.
37:40The better he does,
37:41the more mental confidence
37:42Tim has.
37:48That was textbook.
37:49A perfect run.
37:51That's sure to get
37:52Tim the red.
37:53Now,
37:53clear Catherine.
38:00Catherine didn't do well
38:01in the training
38:02and she's struggling here.
38:03She mustn't let her mistakes
38:05knock her confidence
38:06but should stay mentally
38:07positive and focused
38:08to master this new
38:09physical skill.
38:12You can see the frustration
38:13on her face.
38:14Her confidence
38:15is more fragile
38:16than rice paper.
38:26Oh,
38:27a disastrous ending
38:28and Catherine
38:28doesn't look happy.
38:30Next up,
38:30feisty Francesca.
38:34Francesca can't seem
38:35to get off
38:36the starting blocks.
38:37In spite of her mistakes,
38:38she must remain
38:39mentally confident
38:40and in control
38:40of her body.
38:47She's got it now.
38:48One mistake on the basket
38:50and she's finished.
38:51Finally,
38:52Jamal.
38:58Jamal's ball
38:59is jumping around
39:00more than a bouncy
39:01sushi ball.
39:02He doesn't really
39:03look in control.
39:04He must focus his mind
39:05and believe he can do it.
39:20Oh,
39:21an excellent ending
39:22but who'll be eliminated?
39:24Time for the results.
39:26Timothy,
39:2734 seconds
39:28and no penalties.
39:29That's got to be a record.
39:31Catherine,
39:322 minutes
39:32and 12 penalties
39:33so that's
39:343 minutes in total.
39:36Francesca,
39:3747 seconds
39:38and 5 penalties
39:39so that's
39:401 minute 12
39:41in total.
39:42Catherine's red belt
39:43all hangs
39:43on Jamal's total time.
39:4658 seconds
39:47with 6 penalties.
39:481 minute 28
39:49in total.
39:51So that's
39:522 wins in a row
39:53for artistic Timothy.
39:55He's looking unstoppable
39:56but for Catherine
39:57it's curtains.
40:02Walk of
40:03eternal
40:04regret.
40:05Being out of
40:06brain jitsu
40:07I feel a little bit
40:08disappointed
40:09because I was
40:10very curious
40:11about what
40:11the other tasks
40:12were going to be about
40:13but I'm quite pleased
40:15because I haven't
40:16done too badly.
40:16I think
40:17Timothy's probably
40:18going to win
40:18because in nearly
40:19every other challenge
40:20he's come either
40:21first or second.
40:23So with only
40:24two levels left
40:25Timothy,
40:26Francesca
40:26and Jamal
40:27stand proud in red.
40:29If my feelings
40:30were on a scale
40:31of 1 to 10 now
40:32I'd probably be 11
40:34and as long as
40:35I stay cool,
40:35calm and collected
40:36I reckon
40:37that black belt's mine.
40:38even though I came
40:39third I still have
40:40a big chance
40:41of getting the
40:41black belt.
40:44Brain jitsu!
40:47Level 6
40:48Brawl Belt!
40:51It's this level
40:52which will decide
40:53which two
40:54of my remaining
40:55brainees
40:56will go on
40:57to battle it out
40:58for the
40:59black belt.
41:00Now, imagine
41:02you're in your
41:03school play.
41:03As well as
41:04lines to remember
41:05and moving around
41:06on stage
41:07there's also
41:08the audience
41:08watching you.
41:09It's remembering
41:10stuff under pressure
41:11like this
41:12that Level 6
41:13is all about.
41:15It centres
41:17around three areas
41:18of the brain.
41:19The seeing part,
41:20the occipital lobes,
41:22the memory part,
41:23the temporal lobes
41:24and the movement
41:26part,
41:27the cerebellum.
41:28To the max!
41:30Room of mental
41:32nourishment.
41:34With only three
41:35brainees remaining
41:36this penultimate
41:37brain training
41:38challenge is all
41:39about improving
41:40their memory.
41:41Brain training.
41:42Memorise the
41:43sequence of the
41:44colours.
41:45OK.
41:46So in this task
41:47our three remaining
41:48red belt holders
41:49are exercising
41:50their occipital lobes
41:51or seeing part
41:52of their brain
41:53and their temporal
41:54lobes,
41:55the memory bank.
41:57OK, you go.
41:58Jamal, I haven't
41:59learned it yet.
42:00Jamal, you go first.
42:01Green, red,
42:02blue, yellow,
42:04purple, silver,
42:05green, purple.
42:06That's all I know.
42:08OK.
42:08That's your turn, Tim.
42:09Green, red,
42:10blue, yellow,
42:12purple, silver,
42:13green, purple,
42:15red, orange,
42:17green,
42:18green,
42:21silver.
42:21OK.
42:22Is no-one
42:23going to tell
42:23Tim he did well?
42:24Obviously not.
42:25Green, red,
42:27blue, yellow,
42:28purple, silver,
42:29green,
42:30purple,
42:31uh,
42:32red,
42:33orange,
42:34green,
42:35silver.
42:36How did I do?
42:37Um,
42:38hmm.
42:40Real mature.
42:42Real mature.
42:43My boys.
42:44Come on,
42:45training tip time.
42:46Tip.
42:47Create a song
42:48linking the colours
42:49together.
42:50Well,
42:51well, like,
42:52that actually makes sense.
42:53Guys,
42:53if we're going to try this out,
42:54we should probably swap these bananas around.
42:57Memory tests like this
42:58are a great way of training your brain.
43:00Next time you go on shopping,
43:01create a song out of your list
43:03and see if you can remember everything on it.
43:06Green,
43:07silver,
43:07red,
43:07yellow.
43:08Guys,
43:08you do realise that, like,
43:09none of us are using the tip?
43:10Yeah,
43:11love it.
43:11They haven't exactly embraced the musical tip,
43:13but it's time to test.
43:15Green,
43:15silver,
43:16red,
43:17yellow,
43:17grey,
43:18purple,
43:19blue,
43:20red,
43:20something orange,
43:22purple.
43:23Oh, no,
43:24no,
43:24red,
43:25purple,
43:25orange.
43:25Francesca did okay,
43:26but will Tim's temporal lobe serve him better?
43:30Green,
43:31silver,
43:32red and yellow.
43:33Something or a rubber.
43:34Now I'm stuck.
43:36Oh,
43:37okay.
43:37Uh,
43:38perhaps not.
43:39Green,
43:40silver,
43:40red and yellow so far.
43:44Not that impressive,
43:46Jamal,
43:46I'm afraid.
43:48I hope the next toss doesn't involve memory.
43:51Uh,
43:51hate to break it to you,
43:52Tim.
43:53Based on the training,
43:54I think who should be eliminated is probably me.
43:57In my head,
43:58I was thinking of the rainbow song,
44:00but I kept on getting mixed up between the real rainbow colours and the sequence.
44:05The person with the best memory in the first game was Francesca.
44:09Well,
44:10in the second one,
44:12I think I was slightly better.
44:14I think Jamal's gone bananas,
44:17because quite frankly,
44:18Frankie was way better at the training than either of the boys.
44:22Can she master her memory for the next challenge?
44:25Or will Jamal's confidence see him through to the table of supreme focus?
44:31Only time will tell as our final three must now put their memory train into the test to win the
44:36brown brain belt and secure their place in the final.
44:40Super memory dizzy dash.
44:43Each brainie is spun round on dizzy wheel a total of ten times.
44:48Their task,
44:49to use all their power of focus to memorize five images in front of them.
44:55Then,
44:55race against clock to cross-balancing beam and collect same five images from ten hanging above them.
45:04Then,
45:05must arrange images in reverse order.
45:09When they are happy with their selection,
45:11a hit of gong stops clock.
45:17My tip for the brainies is to keep focused on the main objective and use their training to link the
45:24five images together.
45:27So,
45:27our final three brave the wheel to compete for their brown brain belts and for a chance to triumph over
45:33the table of supreme focus.
45:35It's time to spin.
45:37Will the mirror training help our brainies ignore the effects of the wheel and memorize the images?
45:42The order they are looking for is at the bottom of the screen now.
45:47Artistic Tim is first up.
45:48He didn't do so well in the training.
45:50Can he master his memory when it matters?
45:56Oops,
45:56the dizziness has made him a little bit unsteady.
46:00Not only are our brainies under pressure as they race against the clock,
46:03but they have to fight their dizziness to collect only the five images they saw from the ten hanging above
46:08them.
46:08Then,
46:09they have to arrange those images in reverse order.
46:12Every image they get wrong is a five second penalty.
46:15The brainie with the slowest time will be eliminated from the dojo.
46:23Tim's changed his mind about the pencil.
46:25He should have gone with his instincts because he was right first time.
46:31Now,
46:32feisty Francesca.
46:34Her training is paying off.
46:35She's flying through the course like a Japanese jet plane.
46:39Don't forget,
46:40this challenge decides which two brainies go through to the final round.
46:44The table of supreme focus.
46:48Chilli chicken ramen.
46:50She's already finished and she's spot on with the order.
46:54Bow down to the memory master.
46:58Finally,
46:58Jamal gets his turn on the wheel.
47:02Jamal thought he was better in the training than he actually was.
47:06Can he live up to his own hype?
47:09He looks so dizzy,
47:10his eyes are rolling more than a Japanese pastry chef.
47:17Jamal seems to be stuck.
47:20Perhaps if Jamal had listened to the training tip,
47:22he could have made up a tune and memorised the pictures better.
47:28his memory is clearly a bit sketchy about whether to pick the pencil.
47:38He's finally finished and the order looks good,
47:41but will he be fast enough to secure his place in the final?
47:45Time for the results.
48:02Tim's place in the final rests on Jamal's time.
48:06No penalties,
48:06but with a time of 1 minute 42 seconds,
48:09it isn't fast enough to get the brown.
48:11Tim's in and Jamal is out.
48:14Walk of eternal regret.
48:15Oh, yes.
48:24Walk of eternal regret.
48:28Spinning was a big distraction
48:30because I missed the balloon when I was walking forward
48:33because I was so dazed.
48:35I think that Tim will win the black belt
48:39because he's more calm and focused than Francesca.
48:45So, with only one level to go,
48:47it leaves just artistic Timothy and feisty Francesca
48:50to wear the brown brain belts in preparation for the final.
48:53I'm really, really relieved
48:55because I really, really want to get that black belt.
48:58I'm going to just have to stay focused.
49:00I'm just going to give it my all.
49:01I think I still feel focused,
49:04but I'm still rather nervous as well.
49:09Brain Jitsu
49:12Eight young hopeful arrive at Brain Training Dojo
49:16to fight for Brain Jitsu Black Brain Belt.
49:20As challenges got tougher,
49:22Brain E gets fewer.
49:23Some lack speed.
49:25Others lost focus.
49:27One by one, they have been eliminated
49:29until just one boy, one girl remained.
49:33Feisty Francesca,
49:34who is walking advert for girl power.
49:37I'm going to just have to stay focused.
49:39I'm just going to give it my all.
49:41And artistic Timothy,
49:43whose reality check in level two
49:45made him take competition seriously.
49:47This is the final round.
49:49This is the difference between the black belt
49:50and going home.
49:52But who will use Brain Training to the max
49:55to win final challenge?
49:59Level seven.
50:01Black belt!
50:03So, this is it.
50:05Between my two remaining Brain E's
50:07and the black belt
50:09stands Brain Jitsu's ultimate challenge.
50:12A mental duel
50:13that is head-to-head
50:15in every sense.
50:16The battlefield?
50:18A table.
50:19But not just any table.
50:20For this, my friends,
50:22is the table of supreme focus.
50:24where our two Brain E's
50:26will attempt to move a ball
50:27across the table
50:28using only
50:30the power of their mind.
50:32By getting this far,
50:34they've already demonstrated
50:35mental control
50:36under many different types of pressure.
50:38But now,
50:39they must learn to focus their minds
50:41by entering a state
50:42of total calm.
50:44To prepare them,
50:46my two finalists
50:47will need to get into
50:48the zone.
50:50Room of mental nourishment.
50:53Yes!
50:54We welcome
50:55Feisty Francesca
50:56and Artistic Timothy
50:57to the final
50:58room of mental nourishment.
50:59For this task,
51:00our Brain E's
51:01must bring together
51:02all their training
51:03to achieve
51:04ultimate focus.
51:08Brain training.
51:09Mentally prepare yourself
51:11for the final task.
51:12Don't let the sounds
51:13put you off.
51:14Oh, it's a pinch.
51:22Francesca seems to be
51:23finding it hard to concentrate.
51:26But Tim has found his centre.
51:30That wasn't that hard,
51:31was it?
51:32It's doing my ears in.
51:34As Francesca is struggling,
51:36here's a training tip.
51:38Visualise and focus
51:39on summer,
51:39you feel happy and calm.
51:42Tim is looking
51:43relaxed and calm again.
51:46As Francesca
51:47finally found her focus.
51:50As long as I stay
51:51cool, calm and collected,
51:53I reckon that black belt's mine.
51:56I'm really, really, relieved
51:58because I really, really
51:59want to get that black belt.
52:00I'm just going to give it my all.
52:02I think it helps to, like,
52:05picture somewhere calm
52:06and, like, where there's
52:06no noise and everything.
52:08I am quite prepared.
52:09I would have liked
52:11to be able to do that
52:13without the noise
52:13for a bit,
52:14but, you know.
52:16Will artistic Tim
52:17win it for the boys?
52:18Or can feisty Francesca
52:20bring back girl power?
52:22Let's find out.
52:26Table of Supreme Focus
52:31Rules are simple.
52:33Each brainy must push
52:35ball to their opponent's
52:36end of table
52:36using only power of mind.
52:39Sensors in brainy's headbands
52:41measure brainwaves.
52:43This is converted
52:44into electrical signal
52:45which moves ball.
52:47More focused mind,
52:49stronger signal,
52:50and faster ball will travel.
52:52See how brainy's
52:54are doing on this readout.
52:55Two lines represent
52:57each player's brainwaves.
52:58Lower the line,
53:00more concentrated their mind.
53:08To make sure
53:09this is the test of all tests,
53:11our brainy's must win
53:12the best of three rounds.
53:15So, this is the big one.
53:17If they are to succeed,
53:18our two finalists
53:19must use all their brain training
53:21to enter their zone
53:22of absolute focus.
53:25This is the reason
53:27they came to the dojo.
53:29This is the moment
53:30they've been training for.
53:34The she-hand starts them off
53:36and the mind race is on.
53:39Feisty Francesca
53:40has control of the ball.
53:41You can see her
53:42black brainwave line
53:44is lower than
53:45Tim's green one.
53:46Hey, but it's close.
53:52Tim's taking control.
53:58But Francesca
54:00has pulled it back again.
54:01Mental mastery,
54:02this is tight.
54:06But Tim's regained control
54:08and now the ball
54:09is hurtling
54:10towards his opponent's end.
54:12His green brainwave line
54:13is straight and low,
54:15showing his mind
54:15is very focused.
54:27So it's round one
54:29to Artistic Timothy,
54:30but that was a real mind duel.
54:33Francesca
54:33almost had it.
54:34Can she even
54:35the score
54:36in the second round?
54:39Tim is first
54:40to move the ball.
54:40His green brainwave line
54:42is only slightly lower
54:44than Feisty Francesca's
54:45black one,
54:46but it's enough
54:46for him to have control.
54:49Francesca
54:50is putting up
54:50a good fight.
54:51This competition
54:52is tighter
54:53than two sumos
54:54in a form box.
55:06Can she get it back?
55:08Can she find that focus
55:09to make it
55:10a three-round battle?
55:15No, that's it.
55:17It's all over.
55:18It's a triumph
55:18for Artistic Tim.
55:20He's proved himself
55:21a true master of the mind
55:23and worthy winner
55:24of the black belt
55:25of brain jitsu.
55:26To win the brain jitsu
55:28black belt,
55:28it feels amazing
55:30and it means
55:31so much to me.
55:33After doing all my training
55:35and getting through
55:35all these tasks,
55:36it's definitely
55:37been worth it.
55:38glory for one
55:39brings disappointment
55:40for another.
55:41She fought valiantly,
55:42but now Feisty Francesca
55:44must leave the dojo.
55:47walk of eternal regret.
55:51I'm really quite disappointed
55:52because I think
55:54if I could have
55:54calmed down,
55:56I would have
55:57come on top
55:58a little bit.
55:59I think Tim probably won
56:01because he just
56:02stared at one place
56:03and he just didn't
56:04let anything
56:05deter him.
56:07Feisty Francesca
56:08fought a good fight,
56:09but Artistic Timothy
56:10came out on top.
56:14Inila went out
56:15in level two
56:15after doodling
56:16his way through
56:17the training,
56:18but the shock
56:19of near elimination
56:20jolted him into
56:21taking the competition
56:22seriously
56:22and he excelled,
56:24beating Francesca
56:25two rounds to nil
56:26in their final challenge.
56:28Through brain jitsu
56:29what I've learned
56:30is definitely
56:31I've built up
56:32my self-confidence
56:33loads
56:34and it's just winning.
56:35It's just amazing.
56:36Our journey
56:37has come to an end.
56:39Another brainee
56:40has proven themselves
56:40worthy
56:41to wear the brain jitsu
56:43black belt.
56:44But while brain jitsu
56:46might represent
56:47the most extreme
56:48form of brain training,
56:49its philosophy
56:50can be shared
56:51by all.
56:53Each and every one
56:54of you
56:55has it in your power
56:56to grow your mind.
56:58All it takes
56:59is dedication
57:00and practice.
57:01This has been
57:05Brain Jitsu
57:08as long as it
57:12to get
57:13we're going to
