00:00Your brain is a memory bank.
00:02It's a record of everything you've learned and experienced at this moment.
00:05We could say that your brain is a record or an artifact of the past.
00:10So most people, when they wake up in the morning and they start their day,
00:13a brand new day where there's so many different possibilities,
00:17the first thing they do is they get their brain working
00:20and they start activating circuits in their brain
00:23that are connected to memories of the past.
00:26So they think about the problems in their life
00:28and those problems are connected to certain people and certain things
00:31and certain times and places.
00:33And every one of those problems then has an emotion associated with them.
00:38So if thoughts are the language of the brain
00:41and feelings are the language of your body
00:43and how you think and how you feel creates a state of being,
00:48if you're living by familiar and same thoughts
00:51and you're feeling the same emotions
00:53and emotions are a record of the past,
00:56we could say that most people wake up in the morning
00:59and their entire state of being is in the past,
01:03in the familiar past.
01:04Now every thought has a frequency.
01:08Every thought produces an energy.
01:10So we could say then from a quantum perspective,
01:13you're thinking the same known thoughts
01:16the majority of the time that are producing the same frequencies.
01:20So then the same frequency is the same energy
01:22and your life shouldn't change.
01:24And the only way your life can change is to change your energy.
01:27And nobody changes until they change their energy.
01:30Most people then, they have that vision of the future,
01:33but they give up on that vision
01:35because in order for them to arrive at that vision,
01:37they have to do something.
01:39They have to think differently.
01:40They have to act differently.
01:41They have to feel differently.
01:43And it's so much easier to make the same choice every single day.
01:46And the hardest part about change
01:49is not making the same choice as you did the day before.
01:53And the moment you decide to make a different choice,
01:56you're going to feel uncomfortable
01:58because you're stepping from the known into the unknown.
02:02So some people would rather cling to their self-pity
02:05and take a chance and possibility.
02:08They'd rather tell the story of their past
02:11instead of telling the story of their future.
02:14They'd rather believe in their past
02:15instead of believe in their future.
02:17It's so much more important though
02:19to romance your future
02:20instead of romance your past.
02:22And I think if people understood
02:23that they could actually arrive at it,
02:26I think many people have done this already in their life.
02:29I think everybody at least once in their life
02:32has done something great.
02:33And when they did something great,
02:36they just made up their mind.
02:37And they made a decision in that moment
02:40to do something or to change
02:42with such firm intention
02:44that the amplitude of energy
02:46in making that choice
02:48caused their body to respond to their mind.
02:51That the choice that they were making to change
02:54became a moment in time
02:55that they would never forget.
02:57And the stronger the emotion they felt
02:59in order to change,
03:00the more they remembered the choice.
03:02And we could say then
03:03that they're giving their body
03:04a taste of the future emotionally.
03:08And they're literally aligning to that destiny.
03:11We discovered that if you keep doing that every day,
03:15somehow you'll arrive at that destiny
03:17and your biology will literally begin to change
03:20to look like you're living in a different life.
03:23To change then is to be greater than your environment,
03:27to be greater than the conditions in your world.
03:28And the environment is that seductive.
03:30So then why is meditation the tool?
03:34Well, let's sit down.
03:36Let's close our eyes.
03:37Let's disconnect from your outer environment.
03:40So if you're seeing less things,
03:42there's less stimulation going to your brain.
03:44If you're playing soft music
03:45or you have earplugs in,
03:47less sensory information coming to your brain.
03:49So you're disconnecting from your environment.
03:51If you can sit your body down
03:54and tell it to stay like an animal,
03:57stay right here,
03:58I'm going to feed you and we're done.
04:00You can get up and check your emails.
04:01You can do all your texts.
04:02But right now,
04:03you're going to sit there and obey me.
04:05So then when you do that properly
04:08and you're not eating anything
04:09or smelling anything or tasting anything,
04:11you're not up experiencing and feeling anything,
04:14you would have to agree with me
04:16that you're being defined by a thought, right?
04:19So when the body wants to go back
04:21to its emotional past,
04:23you become aware that your attention is on that emotion
04:26and where you place your attention
04:27is where you place your energy.
04:29You're siphoning your energy
04:31out of the present moment into the past
04:32and you become aware of that
04:34and you settle your body back down
04:37in the present moment
04:37because it's saying,
04:38well, it's eight o'clock.
04:39You normally get upset
04:40because you're in traffic around this time
04:42and here you are sitting
04:43and we're used to feeling angered
04:45and you're off schedule.
04:46Oh, it's 11 o'clock
04:48and usually check your emails
04:49and judge everybody.
04:50Well, the body's looking
04:52for that predictable chemical state.
04:54Every time you become aware
04:57that you're doing that
04:57and your body is craving those emotions
05:00and you settle it back down
05:02into the present moment,
05:03you're telling the body
05:04it's no longer the mind,
05:06that you're the mind
05:07and now your will
05:08is getting greater than the program
05:10and if you keep doing this
05:11over and over again,
05:12over and over again,
05:13over and over again,
05:14just like training a stallion
05:15or a dog,
05:16it's just going to say,
05:18I'm going to sit
05:19and the moment that happens
05:21when the body's no longer the mind,
05:23when it finally surrenders,
05:25there's a liberation of energy.
05:27We go from particle to wave,
05:29from matter to energy
05:30and we free ourselves
05:32from the chains
05:33of those emotions
05:34that keep us in the familiar past
05:36and we've seen this
05:38thousands of times.
05:39In fact, we can actually predict it now
05:40on a brain scan.
05:41But if you start understanding
05:43what you're doing
05:44and why you're doing it
05:45and the stronger the emotion you feel,
05:47the more you're going to pay attention
05:49to the picture in your mind
05:51you begin to remember your future.
05:53You are branding that circuitry
05:55in your brain
05:55and now you're emotionally conditioning
05:58your body into the future.
05:59Now, here's the side effect of that.
06:01If you can do that properly
06:03and become familiar
06:05with those states of mind and body
06:07and you get up feeling
06:09like your future has already happened,
06:11I guarantee you,
06:13you're going to stop looking for it.
06:14The work is to be able to maintain
06:17that modified state of mind and body
06:19your entire day.
06:20You've got to be able
06:21to sustain that state
06:22independent of your co-workers,
06:24independent of your boss,
06:25independent of your ex,
06:26independent of your finances,
06:28independent of the traffic.
06:30And if you're able to do that,
06:32you will begin to see
06:33the feedback in your life.
06:35If you woke up every morning
06:37and you truly made time
06:38to think like this,
06:40if my personality creates
06:42my personal reality
06:43and my personality is made
06:45of how I think,
06:46how I act,
06:47and how I feel,
06:49if I want to create
06:50a new personal reality,
06:52a new life,
06:53I'm going to have to change
06:55my personality.
06:56And most people try
06:57to create a new reality,
06:59a new personal reality
06:59as the same personality
07:01and it doesn't work.
07:02We literally have to become
07:03someone else.
07:04So if you said,
07:04OK, let me not default
07:08and go unconscious
07:09to that 95% of who I am
07:12that's programmed.
07:13Let me become so conscious
07:14of the way I think
07:16and become so aware
07:17of how I'm going to act today.
07:19Let me decide what emotions
07:20keep me connected to my past
07:22and bring me to a lower level,
07:24a lower level of energy.
07:25Let me not go unconscious.
07:28If a belief is just a thought
07:30I keep thinking over and over again,
07:31what thoughts do I want to fire
07:33and wire in my brain?
07:34And with attention
07:36and with intention
07:38to begin to familiarize yourself
07:40with a new way of thinking.
07:41Meditation means
07:42to become familiar with.
07:44If you keep firing
07:45and wiring those circuits,
07:46you're going to begin
07:47to install the hardware.
07:48Repeat it enough times
07:49and it becomes
07:50a software program.
07:51That could be
07:51the new voice in your head
07:52that says I can.
07:54It is possible.
07:56People, when they have an event,
07:58what they do is
07:59they keep recalling the event
08:01because the emotions
08:03of stress hormones,
08:04the survival emotions
08:05are saying pay attention
08:07to what happened
08:08because you want to be prepared
08:09if it happens again.
08:11Turns out most people
08:13spend 70% of their life
08:15living in survival
08:16and living in stress.
08:17So they're always anticipating
08:19the worst case scenario
08:21based on a past experience.
08:24And they're literally,
08:25out of the infinite potentials
08:27in the quantum field,
08:28they're selecting
08:29the worst possible outcome
08:30and they're beginning
08:31to emotionally embrace it
08:32with fear
08:32and they're conditioning
08:33their body
08:35into a state of fear.
08:36Do that enough times?
08:38Body has a panic attack
08:39without you.
08:40You can't even predict it
08:41because it's programmed
08:42subconsciously.
08:43So then,
08:44you say to the person,
08:46why are you this way?
08:48And they'll say,
08:48I am this way
08:49because of this event
08:50that happened to me
08:5115 or 20 years ago.
08:53And what that means
08:54from a biological standpoint
08:55is that they haven't been able
08:57to change since that event.
09:00So then,
09:00the emotions
09:01from the experience
09:02tend to give the body
09:04and the brain
09:05a rush of energy.
09:06So people become addicted
09:08to the rush
09:09of those emotions
09:10and they use the problems
09:11and conditions
09:12in their life
09:13to reaffirm their limitation
09:15so at least
09:16they can feel something.
09:17So now when it comes time
09:18to change,
09:19you say to the person,
09:19why are you this way?
09:21Well, every time
09:21they recall the event,
09:23they're producing
09:24the same chemistry
09:25in their brain and body
09:26as if the event
09:27is occurring.
09:27Firing and wiring
09:28the same circuits
09:30and sending the same
09:31emotional signature
09:32to the body.
09:33Well, what's the relevance
09:34behind that?
09:35Well, your body
09:36is the unconscious mind.
09:37It doesn't know
09:38the difference
09:38between the experience
09:39that's creating the emotion
09:40and the emotion
09:41that you're creating
09:42by thought alone.
09:43So the body's believing.
09:45It's living
09:45in the same past experience
09:4724 hours a day,
09:497 days a week,
09:50365 days a year.
09:52And so then
09:52when those emotions
09:53influence certain thoughts
09:55and they do
09:56and then those thoughts
09:57create the same emotions
09:59and those same emotions
10:00influence the same thoughts,
10:01now the entire person's
10:03state of being
10:04is in the past.
10:05So then
10:06the hardest part
10:07about change
10:09is not making
10:10the same choice
10:11as you did
10:11the day before,
10:12period.
10:13And the moment
10:13you decide
10:14to make a different choice,
10:16get ready
10:16because it's
10:17going to feel
10:18uncomfortable.
10:18comfortable.
10:19So
10:29you
10:31know,
10:44you
10:45You
