00:00What is blocking us from manifesting love?
00:03I really think that the majority of people
00:06spend most of their time
00:08in a state of readiness in their life.
00:11They're always ready for whatever's going to take place.
00:14The hormones that are associated
00:16with getting up and going and reacting stressfully,
00:21those hormones are hormones that create
00:24a primitive mechanism where we go into survival, right?
00:27And living in stress and living in survival
00:30is not a time for us to open our hearts, right?
00:33So get bruised, get damaged, get injured in your life,
00:37the stronger the emotion you feel
00:40towards that event in your life,
00:42the more altered you feel from that experience.
00:45The brain freezes a frame and takes a snapshot
00:47and that's called a long-term memory.
00:50So people think about the problems
00:52that happened in the past
00:54and they produce the same chemistry
00:56in their brain and body
00:57as if the event was happening.
00:59This is a mechanism that's primitive in our biology
01:02and to be able to tame the animal
01:06so that it, the animal self,
01:08so it's no longer in a state of readiness.
01:11Where you place your attention
01:12is where you place your energy
01:14and all the things you can place your attention on,
01:17place it on your heart.
01:18Now, slow your breathing down
01:20and if you can slow your breathing down,
01:22you can take your body out of that state of readiness
01:26and when you slow your breathing down,
01:28you slow your brainwaves down
01:29and your body starts to move out
01:31of that state of sympathetic arousal.
01:34Practice feeling elevated emotions with your heart,
01:37kindness, care, love, appreciation, gratitude
01:41and you'll get good at feeling that way
01:44if you keep doing it.
01:46Now, getting there is a daily practice.
01:49Getting there is something
01:50that you have to keep doing.
01:51So the block for us to feel love
01:54is that if we're living in survival,
01:57you have to make up your mind
01:59that that state is not a state to create
02:03and break away from the people in your life
02:06and your schedule and your phone
02:08and all the obligations you have long enough to reset
02:12just for a little period of time
02:14and to remember so you don't forget.
02:16I think that's where it becomes super valuable.
02:19Yeah, I think you hit on a really important nerve there,
02:22this idea that we're living in a constant state of stress
02:25and when I think about our community
02:27who are thinking about dating
02:29and I think about friends in my life
02:30that are trying to find romantic love,
02:32especially in their life
02:34and their feeling around dating,
02:37mentally, physically, emotionally is stressful.
02:40The idea of dating is stressful.
02:43The idea of being on a date is stressful.
02:45The idea of talking to someone is stressful
02:48and it's so interesting, you're so right
02:50that how are you going to create
02:52when all of your emotions around this is stress?
02:54You've got the stress of a timeline.
02:56Gosh, I'm in my mid-30s.
02:57I should have found someone by now is things I hear.
03:00Oh, I'm in the stress of,
03:02I've been out on seven dates in the last couple of months
03:05and none of them were good enough
03:07and so I'm in the stress of scarcity
03:09and so you're so right, that's what we're feeling.
03:11How do we get out of that system and that cycle?
03:16Because a lot of the time we've developed that feeling
03:19towards finding romantic love for like weeks, months, years.
03:23There's nothing wrong with doing any of those things
03:27but when we're stressed, we're altered.
03:31That stress is when we're out of balance.
03:32We're not ourselves, right?
03:34We can't relax and be authentic
03:37and so typically, it usually takes a crisis
03:42or a disease or a diagnosis or a trauma
03:45or a loss or a betrayal
03:48for a person to really decide,
03:51is this really who I want to continue to be?
03:53So my message is why wait for that, right?
03:56So there's nothing wrong with saying
03:59I want to be in a relationship.
04:00I want the following things in a relationship
04:04from this person
04:05or what might be my ideal relationship.
04:10Should you be talking about physical things
04:12or is it mainly emotional and connectedness?
04:14I think people have an image in their mind
04:17of what they like or what their type is or whatever.
04:21I don't think there's anything wrong with that
04:23but I think what people are really looking for
04:26is connection and joy.
04:30Like people should be in a relationship,
04:32the reason they should be in a relationship
04:34is to be overjoyed to be with the person
04:37that you're with, right?
04:38You want joy in your life.
04:39For me, it would make sense then
04:41if the person got very clear on what they wanted,
04:44then they should start on the journey
04:46to become that very person.
04:49They should really work on being
04:50that very person that they want.
04:52So there would have to be some change
04:56that they would have to make
04:57in order to be worthy enough
05:00to create a person
05:01that they would attract in their life
05:02and we cannot attract anything in our life
05:06that we feel separate from.
05:08Trusting in a future
05:10that you can't see or experience,
05:12you have to lay down the very thing
05:13you use your whole life
05:15to get what you want
05:15to trust that something greater could happen
05:18and that's not something that's very easy.
05:20So I like the idea that it wouldn't happen
05:23on a date that was from an app.
05:26It could happen in a bank.
05:28It could happen at a seminar.
05:30It could happen in the grocery store.
05:32You know, in a way that you least expect, right?
05:35And I think that when we get to a point
05:38where we're so happy with ourselves,
05:41we're no longer looking
05:43because we feel like we already have it.
05:45I think that's the state
05:47where people attract an equal.
05:51Getting to that place
05:53feels like a challenge for people
05:54because it feels like I'm doing this
05:56so that I can get someone, right?
05:58It's always like connected that way.
06:01Well, we're conditioned that way.
06:03We're conditioned in a way to like,
06:05okay, I need something out there.
06:07I need the experience, the proof.
06:09I need the event to occur
06:11and the end product of that event
06:13or experience is called an emotion.
06:15The emotion takes away the lack
06:16or separation from not having it.
06:19So we're waiting for the event to occur
06:21to take away the feeling of separation or lack.
06:25And actually that's not the healthiest way to create.
06:29And actually we should feel the emotion
06:32of the experience before it happens
06:35so that if you're feeling the emotion
06:37of that future before it happens,
06:39truly feeling it,
06:40you wouldn't be looking for it.
06:41You would only be looking for it
06:43when you felt separate from it, right?
06:45So can you maintain that state?
06:47Because the only way you're going to believe
06:51in that future
06:52is you have to feel the emotion associated with it.
06:55So good.
06:55The moment you feel the lack and the separation,
06:58you're going to believe in the past.
06:59And there's a story that goes along with the past
07:02that has everything to do with it.
07:04Dating is hard or finding a person
07:05or whatever that is.
07:06The story that we tell ourselves
07:08that we actually accept, believe,
07:10and surrender to as if it's the truth, right?
07:13So that's exactly what programs the subconscious mind
07:17into a belief, right?
07:18What happens when someone's been catfished,
07:21when they've been betrayed,
07:22when they've been heartbroken,
07:25when they've been cheated on,
07:26when they've been lied to, manipulated,
07:30gaslighted, like they've had a moment
07:31that has made them lose belief
07:35because they've been hurt and broken so many times
07:38in love.
07:38And now you're right.
07:40On a belief level,
07:41they don't believe they're lovable.
07:44They don't believe love exists for them.
07:46They don't believe good people exist, right?
07:49These are all beliefs.
07:50And so what do you do
07:51when you've actually gone through quite a,
07:54you could call it a traumatic,
07:56a toxic event or experience
07:58that someone's been through?
07:59Yeah, I think everybody's had those.
08:01I think, once again,
08:02the stronger the emotion you feel
08:04from some event in your life,
08:06the more altered you are inside of you,
08:08the more you remember the event
08:09that the brain actually freezes that frame, right?
08:12Beliefs are subconscious states of being, right?
08:16It's those subconscious beliefs
08:17that really run our life and run our reality.
08:21So it would make sense then to the person,
08:24unless I can heal from the experience
08:28and overcome the emotion,
08:30because the memory without the emotional charge
08:33is called wisdom.
08:34And you never have to do it again
08:36because you know now that you know.
08:39But if you tell a person like,
08:41okay, your subconscious mind
08:43is going to keep replaying
08:44the same experience in your life
08:46unless you heal, okay?
08:48That could make sense to certain people.
08:51If you can't overcome that emotion,
08:54then you'll never be able to open your heart.
08:56Forgiveness then,
08:57and we've discovered this,
08:59forgiveness is when you overcome
09:01the emotion of your past
09:03and you no longer have your attention
09:05on that person or that experience any longer, right?
09:08And so you feel so good
09:11that you no longer want to feel bad, right?
09:15And so you free yourself from that belief
09:18and you free that person as well
09:20or the experience.
09:21The only person that this really is affecting
09:23is me.
09:24They went on with their life.
09:26You're holding yourself hostage to the past, right?
09:29So then you got to trust that love is available
09:33or love is real.
09:34And in order for you to create someone in your life
09:38that is loving,
09:39you would have to be worthy of love.
09:41And that means you would have to feel love too.
09:43So I think people make their way out of this all the time.
09:46And we deal with severe PTSD with veterans.
09:52And there's some pretty brutal memories there.
09:55And there's a lot of trauma
09:56that's stored in the body as well.
09:59And they deal with a lot of difficulties.
10:02And when you tell them,
10:05it's the heart that resets the baseline
10:07for the trauma in the brain.
10:08All you have to do is have the courage
10:10to open that thing again.
10:11And they may come up against themselves for a few days,
10:14but once it happens
10:18and they understand the process,
10:20their past is wisdom.
10:21They don't have to ever go back there again, right?
10:23They understand it all,
10:25but there's no charge associated with it any longer.
10:29And that's when we belong to the future, right?
10:30That's when the synchronicities
10:32and the coincidences
10:33and the miracles
10:34and the opportunities begin to show up in our life
10:37to prove to us that we are the creators of our life.
10:39What are some practices
10:40and what are milestones in the day
10:43that people can use
10:44to hardwire those thoughts and beliefs?
10:47Like, what are some mechanisms,
10:49what are some tactics
10:49that can make a day feel like,
10:52okay, that's my game plan
10:53for how I'm going to do this?
10:54What are some key checkpoints
10:56throughout 24 hours?
10:57Well, I don't think it's bad to react.
10:58I mean, everybody reacts.
10:59I react.
11:00The question is,
11:02how long are you going to react?
11:04Because surely,
11:05if you're feeling that emotion,
11:07you're going to behave
11:08as if you're in your past.
11:09And you're going to believe in that past.
11:12If people just set the intention
11:15in the beginning of their day,
11:17and we've all done this,
11:18and gone unconscious within the first hour,
11:22whatever it takes for that person,
11:25if it is before they sit down and eat lunch,
11:28that they check in with themselves
11:30and see if they've fallen from grace
11:33or if they're still in that state
11:35or where they're at,
11:35if they do it on their break,
11:38a person who's possessed in a good way,
11:42when they understand,
11:44like when I change,
11:45my life changes,
11:46and nothing changes in my life
11:49until I change,
11:50a person who's really,
11:52really committed to that,
11:55they will constantly be checking in
11:57with themselves
11:58because they're paying more attention
12:01to their inner world.
12:02They're paying more attention to themselves
12:04and less attention to everybody else.
12:06They're really regulating their state.
12:08So change is about reminding yourself
12:10over and over again.
12:11Change is about the overcoming process.
12:15The overcoming process
12:17is actually the becoming process.
12:19And people all the time
12:21that heal in this work,
12:23they're doing their meditations.
12:25They're not doing their meditations to heal.
12:29They're doing their meditations to change.
12:32And they've discovered
12:33that when they change,
12:35they heal.
12:36So now,
12:37if you accept that as a new belief
12:39that when I change,
12:41my life will change.
12:42And you've got to keep reminding yourself
12:44of that belief.
12:44Yeah, you've got to keep saying that.
12:45You've got to keep reminding yourself,
12:47if I change,
12:48because this goes against the program.
12:49Like,
12:50when my life changes,
12:51then I'll change.
12:51That's the program.
12:52No, no, no.
12:53When you change,
12:54the experiment is,
12:55will your life change?
12:56Yes.
12:57Okay, so then now you attack the belief.
12:59Yes.
12:59It's not like,
13:00oh my God,
13:01this is something that's bigger than me.
13:03You attack the belief like,
13:04this is no longer serving me.
13:08Being,
13:09complaining is making me unhappy.
13:11Yeah.
13:12So if you took that on as the truth,
13:13okay,
13:14I've got to remember that
13:14if I change,
13:15my health could change.
13:17If I change,
13:17my life could change.
13:19Okay,
13:20now it's a different game now.
13:22It's not like a have to.
13:23This is like,
13:24I want to change
13:25to see my life change, right?
13:26It's more of a want to.
13:28I've seen people's brain scans
13:32when they're in that place
13:34of a transcendental experience.
13:37I've seen what the brain looks like.
13:38That arousal that's taking place
13:40in that moment
13:41where they're connecting
13:43is not fear.
13:45It's not anger.
13:46It's not pain.
13:48That's what typically creates
13:49arousal of survival.
13:51This arousal is ecstasy.
13:53This arousal is bliss.
13:55They're having
13:55a transcendental moment
13:57where they're interacting
13:58with something
13:59that's beyond their senses
14:02that's causing their body
14:04to be lifted
14:05and aroused.
14:07How much work does it take?
14:08That's the crazy thing
14:10about what we're discovering.
14:13Get a group of people together.
14:15Give them information
14:17that's based on science.
14:18Have them understand
14:19the information.
14:20Have it teach it back to somebody.
14:21Have them understand
14:22what they're doing
14:23and why they're doing it.
14:24You know,
14:24combine quantum physics
14:25with neuroscience
14:26and neuroendocrinology
14:27and psychoneuroimmunology
14:29and epigenetics
14:30and electromagnetism
14:31and Newtonian physics
14:32and all that stuff.
14:33But make it really simple
14:34to make sense to them
14:35so they can understand it.
14:37Have you seen any
14:38key traits
14:40that people who accelerate
14:41that process have?
14:43Yeah.
14:44Well, I think people
14:44have to be present
14:45with information.
14:46And I think paying attention
14:48is being present.
14:49And I think it's a skill.
14:51And the more you practice it,
14:52the better you get at it.
14:53But if you're not present,
14:56then you can't hear
14:57the information
14:58because your mind
14:59is in the predictable future
15:00or the familiar past, right?
15:02So that's why online courses,
15:04for me,
15:05are just something
15:05that I never would ever do
15:07because I don't want to compete
15:08with a person's attention
15:09because it's so much easier
15:11to forget this information
15:13than to remember it, right?
15:15But if you can get
15:16a community of people together,
15:18have them understand
15:19the information
15:20and then in seven days,
15:22immerse themselves
15:24fully into transformation
15:25and change.
15:27Sooner or later,
15:29there's an emergent consciousness
15:30that takes place
15:31in the collective.
15:33And this is what we discovered.
15:34Something happens
15:35that's intangible
15:37when you get a group
15:38of people together
15:38and they start
15:39overcoming themselves.
15:41And they sit with themselves
15:42long enough
15:43to be curious about
15:44what's on the other side
15:45of that belief
15:45instead of saying,
15:46I quit and get up
15:47and get my cell phone
15:48or call somebody
15:49or go eat something
15:50or go do something.
15:51You're going to sit there
15:53and you're going to just
15:54become really conscious
15:55that you're not going
15:56to give up on you.
15:57You're going to go
15:58past that point.
15:59And just like
16:00infection spreads
16:01amongst the community
16:02and creates disease,
16:04all of a sudden
16:04you see health
16:05and wealth
16:06and abundance.
16:07That's what we see
16:07at the end of seven days.
16:09There is an emergent
16:10consciousness
16:10that's reflected
16:11in people's biology.
16:13And genetically,
16:14they look like
16:14they're living
16:15in a new life.
16:16How long does it take
16:17scientifically
16:18to rewire a belief?
16:20I don't think
16:21you could actually
16:24measure that.
16:24I think there's
16:25too many variables.
16:27The comprehension
16:28of the information,
16:29how long
16:30the person meditates,
16:32how present they are
16:33when they are meditating,
16:34what their past
16:36was like,
16:36and there's
16:37a lot of variables.
16:38I've seen it happen
16:41instantaneously.
16:42What appears
16:43to be instantaneous,
16:45but that person
16:46could have been
16:47grappling with that belief
16:49for a long period of time.
16:52So it turns out
16:53when we're relaxed
16:54in our heart,
16:56the body is believing
16:57it's living
16:58in a nurturing environment
16:59and it begins
17:00to express new genes.
17:01And that's exactly
17:02how we change.
17:04Because, yeah,
17:05we always hear that,
17:06you know,
17:07the famous 30 to 90 days
17:09for a habit,
17:09like 60 days
17:10for a habit,
17:11that kind of thing
17:12to change a habit.
17:13But a belief
17:13is so much more
17:14deeper than that.
17:15Yeah.
17:15Well, a belief
17:16is a habit of thinking.
17:17Yeah.
17:17It's just a really
17:18unconscious habit
17:19of thinking.
17:20I think everybody's belief
17:22should always be challenged.
17:23My belief
17:25in what's possible
17:26is being challenged today.
17:27I think that's fun.
17:28Like, I watch the scientists
17:30that are doing the studies,
17:31the empirical studies.
17:33I'm watching them
17:34run the same experiment
17:35five times in a row
17:37because they're really
17:37expecting a different outcome.
17:39I know right in that moment
17:40they're changing their belief.
17:42I know right in that moment
17:43they're discovering
17:44something new.
17:45I know in that moment
17:46they're going,
17:47oh, this is unbelievable, right?
17:48So I think the greatest belief
17:51that we could ever have
17:52is our belief in ourselves
17:54and our belief in possibility.
17:56And I think
17:56that has to be earned.
17:58That has to be earned.
18:00You've got to show up
18:01for you
18:02enough times
18:03where you have that belief.
18:05You earned it.
18:06You know, we always hear
18:07that quote of like,
18:08you only use 10% of your brain
18:10or whatever it is.
18:13What have you,
18:13what has your research found
18:14of like how much
18:15we're not tapping
18:16into the ability
18:18that we have?
18:19Our data suggests
18:20that your autonomic nervous system
18:23manufactures a pharmacy
18:24of chemicals
18:25that works better
18:26than any drug.
18:27That's what our data shows.
18:28A drug study at its best
18:30is about 25%.
18:32One out of four people
18:33have a response
18:34and it usually takes
18:35three months
18:37or more
18:38to have an effect.
18:39We're seeing
18:40that the,
18:41at the end of
18:42seven days,
18:45the 75%,
18:4884%,
18:49100%
18:51of the people
18:52that are in,
18:54that are being tested
18:54are having the same outcome.
18:57so their plasma,
18:59their blood,
19:00their brains
19:01in seven days
19:02look like advanced meditators,
19:04people who just
19:05have never meditated before.
19:07Every time we've done a study,
19:10we have been
19:12completely blown away
19:14by the power
19:16of human potential.
19:17We're greater than we think.
19:19We're more powerful
19:21than we know.
19:21We're more unlimited
19:22than we can ever dream.
19:23We've never done anything hat.
19:27We're more powerful
