00:00A CIA whistleblower showed his face in public for the first time to testify in front of a Senate
00:04panel on Wednesday. He was there to talk about COVID-19 and, more specifically, about claims
00:08Dr. Anthony Fauci improperly influenced intelligence analysis in 2020 and 2021 about
00:14the origins of the pandemic. The Special Operations Officer, James Erdman, suggested Fauci was trying
00:20to downplay findings that COVID most likely resulted from a laboratory accident in China.
00:25Dr. Fauci's role in the cover-up was intentional. Dr. Fauci influenced the analytical process
00:31and findings by leveraging his position to ensure the IC consulted with a conflicted list
00:38of curated subject matter experts, public health officials, and scientists.
00:45Erdman went on to allege that Fauci minimizing the lab leak theory skewed intelligence community
00:49investigations into the origins of the pandemic. For the last year, the Special Ops Officer was
00:54part of Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard's Director's Initiatives Group,
00:59or DIG, which investigated those probes from 2020 and 21. And get this, he says the CIA illegally
01:06monitored the phones and computers of DIG investigators. The CIA was not happy about the hearing. A
01:12spokesperson slammed the committee for engaging in, quote, political theater by compelling Erdman's
01:18testimony since the agency already determined and made public that a lab leak is the most likely
01:23explanation for the COVID pandemic.
