00:00The International Labour Organization has denied Bessinat Sundan Bahad's claim
00:05that its foreign workers' centralised management system is recognised by the United Nations.
00:10The ILO said the FWCMS was not recognised by the UN
00:15and that the award the platform received in 2017 was not given by the Global Intergovernmental Organisation.
00:22It said the World Summit award the system received was given by the non-profit International Centre for New Media.
00:29While it was given at the UN World Summit on the Information Society,
00:34the ILO reiterated that it was not issued by the UN.
00:38The UN agency was responding to Bessinat's defence of FWCMS
00:42and its proposed Universal Recruitment Advanced Platform.
00:46Last month, Bessinat's solicitors Louis N. Bullard said the FWCMS received
00:52the United Nations World Summit Award in 2017,
00:55describing it as global validation of the system it developed and operates.
01:00The firm also said the system's design and governance framework
01:04were developed in line with the principles and policies of the ILO
01:08and the International Organisation for Migration, another UN agency.
