02:17I love Roatan and I've seen it grow and develop.
02:20And I'm excited to show this island to somebody who's coming with fresh eyes to get a new start.

02:31Roatan is an island 40 miles off the north coast of Honduras.
02:35We're lying along the second largest barrier reef in the world, the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef.
02:40It's actually very close to shore so you can snorkel on the most amazing turquoise waters.
02:46This beautiful part where we're sitting at is between West End and West Bay, the most famous touristy spots.
02:53You're going to find a mile long white sandy beach with beautiful all-inclusive resorts lining it up.
02:59Yeah, I definitely want to stick to West Bay because it's close to all the restaurants and activities and part
03:04of coming here is going on dates and being romantic.
03:07I mean, I get what you're saying, but if I feel like we can get better bang for our buck,
03:11maybe a little east.
03:13If you move a little further to Mid Island, it's equally beautiful but a lot more residential.
03:18One thing, you know, I was hoping to be was on the beach.
03:20We could always just walk to the beach. If we had a view, that would be good too.
03:24What will make you guys feel at home in beautiful Roatan?
03:28We want at least three bedrooms, three baths.
03:31Yeah, for sure. We definitely want a pool.
03:32Especially if we're not right on the beach, we want to be able to swim.
03:36In terms of your styles, what are you guys looking for?
03:38I prefer a modern sort of minimalist.
03:40I want more of like the Mediterranean look with like the tile roofs.
03:44I would definitely prefer something furnished. It would take a lot of the stress off of moving to another country.
03:50What are you thinking in terms of budget?
03:52We definitely want to keep our budget to one million.
03:55I've given up my oil and gas job to come here, which provided a sense of security.
04:00While we were living in Mobile, we acquired some rental properties.
04:03So we intend to use that income to live off of here in Roatan.

14:54It's less commercial than West Bay, but we also are very close to some of the most exclusive boutique hotels
15:01and restaurants here on the west side.
15:05It actually comes with needed access to a dock, which is a great perk.
15:09You can catch those water taxis from the dock and go to the West Bay and West End areas without
15:14the traffic.
15:15That sounds amazing.
