00:38then here comes nick romano romano's in the mix and then his teammate set hammock is there two
00:43kawasaki's in the top three uh great start for like you said landing gordon and nick romano think about
00:51this romano was a fill-in rider and he has done a fantastic job here in this season east coast
00:59division 250 landon gordon had an incredible rookie debut getting on the podium he took a rough
01:08crash yesterday so this is a great start for him and then seth hammocker you talk about seth hammocker
01:14bam championship contender just come up a little bit short so this is an opportunity for some
01:19redemption here tonight yeah great opportunity for him and again last time we kind of seen landon gordon
01:24having that podium that breakout ride but you can tell it looks a little bit more comfortable he's
01:28got nick behind him you tell they put a little bit of water on this racetrack and the shadows here

01:33the wolves these guys got to be careful early in this race but kind of a main event here it's
01:39been for
01:39the three races that landon gordon has done it's kind of been a mixed bag first the first one did

01:44work out so well then he put it on the podium in just his second professional race the teenager did

01:49spectacular job but then the most recent round it went a little sideways for him so good to see him
01:54up front and ricky to your point especially after that hard fall yesterday yeah i mean we were down
01:58here these guys had an opportunity to ride the track for press and man did he take a gnarly crash
02:04over the handlebars got piled drove into the ground and i was wondering if he was going to suit up
02:10and i
02:10saw him out here earlier this morning for qualifying practice and his track is very slick right now like
02:16james said they did some work put some water down and pretty impressive what landon gordon's been able
02:21to do interesting to watch how this heat race plays out to see how land is starting to get away

02:28these guys so as the day goes on gets into that night time all these guys is coming up they

02:34make sure they pay attention as seph gets around his teammate in that sand section a little while but
02:38he made the pass i like what you talked about too on that first lap this is basically like a

02:49division going second so this is all the heat in the six minutes plus one lap race set hamica aboard
02:55the 10 there the monster energy pro circuit kawasaki was the fast qualifier and has looked good all day

03:18put down yeah earlier when you went outside they were trying to triple we know how strong cole's been
03:23through the whoops as he gets up the inside of nick kind of been plotting his pass off nice good
03:28nice pass by the number 37 yeah got a good run out of the corners and definitely cole davies has

03:35the class of the field and the whoops all season long along with the rest of the track and it's
03:39incredible to watch how fast he could go especially when you consider his statue's got beautiful
03:44technique here comes set hamica challenging and pressuring for the lead of this race two minutes

05:24look at the gap that the 10 of hammockers put on these guys just from getting into the lead but
05:30again great job from landon gordon racing hard and clean and this is really the most realistic
05:37racetrack he's been on since his rookie debut because he's been in the mud ever since yeah absolutely
05:43he's going to have a realistic pass and get passed by his teammate but that's right still a good
05:48performance you can see seth has already gotten away from him so kind of know you got to make that

05:54happen let's see if he can close up on our number 10 out front two wonderful graduates of the smx

05:58program the 18 year old cole davies gets ahead of the 19 year old landon gordon and he sets sail

06:11going to be a lot of fun to see right here just what cole is able to do right really

06:17looks like it's starting to get worked in the lines are becoming established and you'll be able to ride a
06:22bit more aggressive now than those first couple laps i believe james yeah cole makes a big mistake
06:27right there will james said hamica was talking to me today about how the pressure's been off for a
06:33couple of rounds for him since he sort of felt like he was out of the championship pump day so

06:38i've been able to ride a little bit more freely unfortunately for him he's up against all babies
06:43who's now got his championship already wrapped up and the version of cole that i saw in the paddock today
06:48talking to friends and family uh was a version that i haven't seen all year just completely
06:53relaxed and laughing two guys in his sort of best position possible there to just be able to relax
06:59and go after this winter night will talks about family there's even more family that have made the
07:03trip over from new zealand for davies because he's had his mum and dad here and his grandfather who is
07:08still here by the way and his uncle has joined the family clan as well to cheer on this youngster

07:14they're really enjoying watching him ride in person long way from home by the way if you have a look
07:20down the order daxton bennick is a distant 12 which is highly unusual for the rockstar energy factory
07:29husk barna rider who is third in the championship point well it is and he was 11th on the first
07:34lap so
07:34uh that's shocking he must have uh went down for sure because how well he's been doing all season long
07:40again third in the championship that's uh definitely out of pocket if he don't make some moves he's
07:46headed to the last chance final lap for seth hamica he's won three heats make it four in this 2026
07:54season and a really nice way to get this final east-west showdown underway as he beats the man who
08:00beat him to the title luke cloud on the 101 prmx kawasaki holds down the ninth and final position transfer
