00:04One of the seven angels who had the bowls spoke to me,
00:09Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters.
00:17The kings of the earth have committed fornication with her,
00:21and the inhabitants of the earth have been intoxicated with the wine of her fornication.
00:27The spirit took me into the wilderness,
00:37and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast full of blasphemous names with seven heads and ten horns.
00:46The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, adorned with gold, precious stones and pearls,
00:54holding a golden cup full of abominations and the filth of her fornication.
01:01On her forehead was written,
01:04Mystery, Babylon the Great, the mother of prostitutes and of the abominations of the earth.
01:12The woman was drunk with the blood of the saints and the blood of the martyrs of Jesus,
01:18and I was greatly amazed at her.
01:21The angel said to me,
01:23Why are you amazed?
01:25I will tell you the mystery of the woman and the beast she rides,
01:30which has seven heads and ten horns.
01:34The beast you saw was, and is not,
01:38and is about to come up out of the abyss to destruction.
01:42The inhabitants of the earth,
01:44whose names are not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world,
01:49will be astonished when they see the beast that was, and is not, yet will be.
01:55The seven heads represent seven mountains on which the woman sits.
02:00They also represent seven kings.
02:04Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come.
02:09When he comes, he must remain a short time.
02:12The beast that was, and is not, is the eighth,
02:17and it belongs to the seven going to destruction.
02:23The ten horns are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom,
02:29but they will receive authority for one hour with the beast.
02:34They have one purpose,
02:36and will give their power and authority to the beast.
02:41They will make war against the lamb,
02:44but the lamb will overcome them,
02:47for he is lord of lords and king of kings,
02:51and those with him are called, chosen, and faithful.
02:56The angel also said,
02:58The waters where you saw the prostitute represent peoples,
03:04multitudes, nations, and languages.
03:08The ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute,
03:12make her desolate and naked,
03:15and eat her flesh and burn her with fire.
03:19God has put it in their hearts to carry out his purpose,
03:24and give their kingdom to the beast,
03:27until the words of God are fulfilled.
03:31The woman you saw is the great city
03:34that rules over the kings of the earth.
