00:00Revelation, Chapter 5
00:02I saw in the right hand of the one who sits on the throne a book, written on both sides and sealed with seven seals.
00:15Then I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice,
00:20Who is worthy to open this book and break its seals?
00:25But no one in heaven, on earth, or under the earth could open the book or even look at it.
00:35I wept greatly, because no one was found worthy to open the book or read it.
00:43One of the elders said to me,
00:45Do not weep. Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed and is worthy to open the book and its seven seals.
00:59I looked, and in the center, in the midst of the throne, the four living creatures and the elders stood a lamb, looking as though it had been slain.
01:12It had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
01:20The lamb approached and took the book from the right hand of him who was seated on the throne.
01:26When the lamb took it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before him.
01:35Each held a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
01:42They sang a new song, saying,
01:45Worthy are you to take the book and open its seals, because you were slain, and by your blood you have redeemed people for God from every tribe, language, people, and nation.
02:03And you have made them a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.
02:12Then I looked and heard the voices of countless angels around the throne, the living creatures and the elders, myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands.
02:27They shouted with a loud voice,
02:30Worthy is the lamb who was slain to receive power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and praise.
02:40And to every living being in heaven, on earth, under the earth, and in the sea, and to everything in them I heard say,
02:51To him who sits on the throne and to the lamb be blessing, honor, glory, and power forever and ever.
03:01The four living creatures said, Amen, and the twenty-four elders fell down before him, worshipping the one who lives forever.
