00:02Write to the messenger of the church in Ephesus.
00:09This is what the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand
00:14and walks among the seven golden lampstands says.
00:19I know all your actions, your constant effort, your perseverance,
00:25and how you reject what is evil.
00:28You have tested those who claimed to be apostles and proved them to be false.
00:36You have endured hardships for my name and have not grown weary.
00:43But I have this against you.
00:46You have abandoned the love you had at the beginning.
00:50Remember how far you have failed.
00:53Turn back and do the works you once did.
00:56If you refuse, I will come soon and remove your lampstand from its place.
01:03Yet you do have this in your favor.
01:07You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, and I also detest them.
01:12Whoever has ears, let them listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.
01:20Write to the messenger of the church in Smyrna.
01:35This is what the first and the last says, the one who died and came back to life.
01:42I know your suffering, your troubles, and your poverty, though in truth you are rich.
01:50I also see the slander of those who claim to be Jews, but they are not.

03:10You tolerate among you those who follow the teachings of Balaam,

03:24Likewise, you also allow those who hold to the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I detest.
03:37Repent, or I will come against them soon, and fight with the sword of my mouth.

03:50To the one who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna,
03:58and I will also give a white stone with a new name written on it,
04:03known only to the one who receives it.

04:11This is what the Son of God says,
04:14The one whose eyes shine like flames, and whose feet are like polished bronze.
04:21I know your deeds, your love, your service, your faith, and your endurance,
04:28and I see that your later works are greater than the earlier ones.
04:33But I have this against you.
04:35You tolerate that woman, Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess
04:41and is misleading my servants into sexual immorality
04:45and participation in meals offered to idols.
04:49I gave her time to regret, but she refuses to turn from her without.
04:55Therefore, I will cast her into great suffering
04:59along with those who commit adultery with her
05:02unless they repent of their actions.
05:06I will bring judgment upon his followers,
05:09and all the churches will know that I am the one
05:13who searches minds and hearts.
05:16I will repay you each according to your deeds.
05:21But to the rest of you in Thyatira,
05:23who do not hold to that teaching
05:26and have not embraced what they call the deep things of Satan,
05:30I say, I will not place any additional burden on you.
05:36Only hold firmly to what you have until I come.
05:42To the one who overcomes and remains faithful to my works until the end,
05:47I will give authority over the nations.
05:51They will rule them with an iron scepter
05:54and shatter them like clay jars,
05:57just as I received authority from my Father.
06:01And I will give them the morning star.
06:05Whoever has ears,
06:06let them listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.
06:10After they want,
06:12the family says to the Christians.
