15:22So even being able to be here and raise awareness for that is so major.

15:55Christmas is a lifestyle and an obsession for me.
15:58I spend half of the year decorating my home for a gigantic Christmas party that hundreds
16:04and hundreds of people attend every year to showcase my Christmas designing business.
16:09And it is epic.
16:10I've actually made a business out of it.

16:32and then create kind of these splatter marks down at the bottom.
16:34You know, what I wanted to do was something that was inspired by letting your colors show.

16:40Yeah, so this is the third time I've ever sewed in real life.
16:43So, you know, I'm thrilled I can't be eliminated.

16:47So I'm like, all right, I just want to go down the runway and look, like, you know, presentable.

16:55Why did you choose them?
16:56I wanted to play for an organization that speaks directly to LGBTQIA plus youth who are struggling
17:02and battling with thoughts of suicide.
17:03Yeah.
17:04And so I'm really proud to play for Trevor.
17:06I'm proud to use this platform to give voice to an organization that's saving lives.
17:09When I was in college, it was a story that I shared on my season when people broke into
17:14my dormitory and threatened to kill me.
17:16This underground hate group took it upon themselves to harass me.
17:19I don't want anyone to ever feel that way that I felt that I wasn't good enough or that
17:22I didn't belong.
17:23After all of those things, I was ready to take my own life.
17:27Therapy and conversations with LGBTQIA plus people saved my life.
17:30So that's why I chose Trevor.
17:32I know that you are a design queen.
17:34You know how to sew.
17:35I am a orchestrator.
17:36So yes.
17:37What is your aesthetic?
17:38I think my aesthetic grew to be a more Asian-esque.
17:41Just the finesse of like a powerful Asian woman.
17:43I just try to put it into every single one of my looks nowadays.
17:46Now, you grew up in Vietnam.
17:48I did.
17:48I grew up with my grandparents.
17:50They raised me until I was like 10.
17:52And then I came here and met my mom or like actually lived with her.
17:55Yeah.
17:56I was very, you know, shy, timid, scared.
17:59More scared than anything.

18:01Of what other people might think about me, I think.
18:03Growing up Asian and then being thrown in mostly a white school.
18:08You get bullied for where you're from.
18:09You get bullied because you can't speak English properly.
18:11So I wasn't healthy.
18:12I didn't love myself.
18:13And that's why I'm competing for any Asian kid that can look at me and see themselves.
18:18My charity is the Asian American Foundation.
18:22They've raised over 140 million for anti-Asian hate and teaching AAPI history.
18:28This is a great, great cause.
