00:01hey good morning everybody so one of the things that my wife and I have committed to doing now
00:07that phase one of our home renovation is pretty close to being done is starting to do some
00:13exercise here in the house and one of the things that exercise includes is doing some floor
00:19exercises and I wanted to get a mat that was going to be thick enough for me I'm not a
00:31small guy I'm
00:32about 250 pounds and I wanted a mat that would provide enough cushioning for me to be able to
00:38get on the floor and feel comfortable working out and so I picked this up and they did a nice
00:46job
00:46of wrapping it and so I wanted to take a look at it with y'all and see what all
00:53is in it so this is
00:55a basically just a about a half inch thick mat as you can see there it's rolled up I believe
01:04it comes
01:04with the carry strap as well too yeah that's right here so that's taped on let's see here I can
01:16get
01:16this bag open here we go so this strap looks like it just look at that it just stretches around
01:24it
01:25like this like that and then the other end stretches around the other side and you have a carry handle
01:38check that out whoops that is so cool what a great idea
01:53all right there we go I know I can do it see there you go now you got a carry
01:58handle on it
01:59one of the things that I want to do that I was really good at in my youth
02:05is leg lifts and leg lifts really work hard on this lower abdomen and hi buddy I've got a bit
02:15of a belly here that I'd like to get rid of and so doing leg lifts will help with that
02:20help increase
02:22my core strength and it'll also help increase my quads and my glutes and so one thing that you want
02:30to
02:30make sure that you do is you keep your upper body calm and quiet so petting the dog may not
02:38be at the top
02:40of the list when you're doing leg lifts but apparently Spencer here thinks it's important so but you can do
02:47push-ups on this you can do yoga on this you can do all sorts of different core strengthening exercises
02:58on this mat and uh you know I like it so much I may just get another one from my
03:03wife uh and that way
03:05we each have one and maybe we could uh do some workouts together uh with Spencer of course can't
